Description
(A)フルオロメタレートアニオン源、前記アニオンはそれぞれ、
(i)少なくとも4つのフッ素原子、および
(ii)チタン、ジルコニウム、ハフニウム、ケイ素、アルミニウムおよびホウ素からなる群から選択される元素「M」の少なくとも1つの原子、
および、任意選択で、
(iii)少なくとも1つのイオン化水素原子、および
(iv)少なくとも1つの酸素原子のうちの1つ、または両方からなり、
(B)クロム(III)カチオン源;クロム(III)カチオンと成分(A)とのモル比が、20:1〜50:1の範囲にあり、
(C)グアニジニウムカチオン源、
および、任意選択で、1つまたは複数の以下の成分:
(D)硝酸アニオン源、
(E)有機性腐食抑制剤、好ましくはトリアゾール、例えば、直前に記載した成分(A)〜(D)のいずれかの一部ではないトリルトリアゾール、
(F)直前に記載した成分(A)〜(E)のいずれかの一部ではない遊離フッ化物イオンの成分、
(G)直前に記載した成分(A)〜(F)のいずれかの一部ではない界面活性剤分子の成分、
(H)直前に記載した成分(A)〜(G)のいずれかの一部ではないpH調整成分、および
(I)直前に記載した成分(A)〜(H)のいずれかの一部ではない増粘成分を含み、好ましくは実質的にこれらからなり、または、より好ましくはこれらからなる液状化成被膜組成物を提供する。
列挙した成分および源は、必ずしも全てが別々の化学薬品により提供される必要はないものと理解されるべきである。
(A)チタン、ジルコニウム、ハフニウム、ケイ素、アルミニウムおよびホウ素からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの元素「M」のイオン源、
(B)クロム(III)カチオン源;クロム(III)カチオンと元素「M」のモル比が、20:1〜50:1の範囲にあり、
(C)グアニジニウムカチオン源、
および、任意選択で、1つまたは複数の以下の成分:
(D)硝酸アニオン源、
(E)有機性腐食抑制剤、好ましくはトリアゾール、例えば、直前に記載した成分(A)〜(D)のいずれかの一部ではないトリルトリアゾール、
(F)直前に記載した成分(A)〜(E)のいずれかの一部ではない遊離フッ化物イオンの成分、
(G)直前に記載した成分(A)〜(F)のいずれかの一部ではない界面活性剤分子の成分、
(H)直前に記載した成分(A)〜(G)のいずれかの一部ではないpH調整成分、および
(I)直前に記載した成分(A)〜(H)のいずれかの一部ではない増粘成分を含み、好ましくは実質的にこれらからなり、または、より好ましくはこれらからなる液状化成被膜組成物を提供する。
列挙した成分は、必ずしも全てが別々の化学薬品により提供される必要はないものと理解されるべきである。
(I)金属基材表面を上記の本発明の組成物に接触させてウェット被覆金属基材表面を形成し、
(II)任意選択でウェット被覆金属基材表面を水洗し、および、
(III)ウェット被覆金属基材表面を任意選択で加熱して乾燥して、金属基材、特に、アルミニウムの表面およびアルミニウムの合金を有する基材を被覆する方法を提供する。
実施例
Claims (13)
- 水および
(A)ジルコニウムのイオン源、
(B)クロム(III)カチオン源;クロム(III)カチオンと成分(A)とのモル比が、1.27:1〜68.4:1の範囲にあり、三価クロムおよびジルコニウムが、2:1〜39:1の範囲の三価クロムとジルコニウムの重量比で存在し、
(C)グアニジニウムカチオン源、
および、任意選択で、1つまたは複数の以下の成分:
(D)硝酸アニオン源、
(E)直前に記載した成分(A)〜(D)のいずれかの一部ではない有機性腐食抑制剤、
(F)直前に記載した成分(A)〜(E)のいずれかの一部ではない遊離フッ化物イオンの成分、
(G)直前に記載した成分(A)〜(F)のいずれかの一部ではない界面活性剤分子の成分、
(H)前記直前に記載した成分(A)〜(G)のいずれかの一部ではないpH調整成分、および、
(I)前記直前に記載した成分(A)〜(H)のいずれかの一部ではない増粘成分を含み、六価クロムを実質的に含まない金属表面を被覆するための組成物。 - 前記(A)イオン源がフルオロメタレートアニオンを含み、該フルオロメタレートアニオンはそれぞれ、
(i)少なくとも4つのフッ素原子、および
(ii)ジルコニウムおよび、任意選択で、
(iii)少なくとも1つのイオン化水素原子、および
(iv)少なくとも1つの酸素原子のうちの1つ、または両方を含む請求項1に記載の組成物。 - 前記フルオロメタレートアニオンが、0.4〜15g/lの範囲内の濃度のフルオロジルコネートアニオン、4〜100g/lの範囲内の濃度の水溶性フッ化クロム、および1〜50g/lの範囲内の濃度の硝酸グアニジンを含む請求項2に記載の組成物。
- 成分(C)が、0.25〜50g/lの量のグアニジニウムカチオンを供給するのに十分な量で存在する、グアニジニウムの、アミノスルホン酸塩、炭酸塩、硝酸塩、硫酸塩、スルファミン酸塩およびチオシアン酸塩のうち1つまたは複数を含む請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記フルオロメタレートアニオンが、フルオロジルコネートアニオンを含み、
フルオロジルコネートアニオンの濃度が、0.4〜1.5g/lの範囲内であり、
フッ化クロムの濃度が、4g/l〜100g/lの範囲内であり、および
三価クロムとジルコニウムの重量比が7:1〜25:1の範囲内である請求項2に記載の組成物。 - (A)が、1〜8g/lの範囲内で前記組成物中にフルオロジルコネートアニオンを含む請求項2に記載の組成物。
- (B)が、クロム(III)の硝酸塩、硫酸塩およびフッ化物からなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 成分(C)が、硝酸グアニジニウムを含む請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 成分(E)が、チアゾール化合物、トリアゾール化合物、テトラゾール化合物およびイミダゾール化合物のうち1つまたは複数に基づく水溶性または水混和性の有機性腐食抑制剤として存在する請求項8に記載の組成物。
- 成分(E)が、0.01〜10g/lの量で存在するトリアゾール化合物である請求項9に記載の組成物。
- 未被覆の金属の少なくとも1つの領域、任意選択で、下位にある金属基材上の被覆の少なくとも1つの領域、または、未被覆の金属の少なくとも1つの領域および下位にある金属基材上の被覆の少なくとも1つの領域の両方を含む表面を被覆または修整する、あるいは被覆および修整の両方を行うための方法であって、該方法が
(I)被覆され、修整され、または被覆および修整の両方が行われる表面を、請求項8に記載の液状組成物の層で被覆する工程と、および
(II)工程(I)で形成された前記液状層を乾燥して被覆表面を形成する工程とを含む方法。 - 工程(I)および工程(II)の間で、前記表面が水洗される、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 実質的に六価クロムを含まず、ASTM B−117に従って、95°Fの5%塩水噴霧に少なくとも336時間されされたときに、24平方インチあたり10ピット未満で特徴づけられる耐食性を有する請求項11に記載の被覆表面を含む少なくとも1つの部分を有する製造品。
