ユニットδが、0.5モル%から15モル%で存在し、イリジウム錯体を含み;
ならびに、α、β、γおよびδの合計が、100%未満の場合、20モル%以下、10モル%以下でもよい、他のユニットを含んでもいてもよい。
ユニットαが、30モル%から60モル%で存在し、置換されていてもよいアリーレンであり;
ユニットβが、1モル%から30モル%で存在し、置換されていてもよいフルオレンを含むユニットであり;
ユニットγが、1モル%から40モル%で存在し、窒素で置換されているアリールまたは置換されていてもよいトリアジンを含み;
ユニットδが、0.5モル%から15モル%で存在し、イリジウム錯体を含み;
ならびに、α、β、γおよびδの合計が、100%未満の場合、20モル%以下の他のユニットを含んでもいてもよい。
式(2)中、Ar1は、1または2つの低級アルキルまたは低級アルコキシの基で置換されていてもよいフェニレン基であり、および、Ar2は、1または2つの低級アルキルまたは低級アルコキシの基で置換されていてもよいフェニル基である。
反応i
参照に本願明細書に取り込まれる、米国特許出願公開第2010/0033086号明細書に記載の方法を使用して、下記の化合物を調製した。
反応iiの化合物を、以下に記載のようにして、式(19)、(20)および(21):
反応iiiの式(20)の化合物を、以下に記載のようにして、式(22):
反応iiiの式(20)の化合物を、以下に記載のようにして、式(23):
反応ivの化合物(22)を、以下に記載のようにして、式(24):
反応viの化合物(24)を、以下に記載のようにして、式(25):
1,3,5−トリス(3−ブロモフェニル)−ベンゼンを、トリフルオロメタンスルホン酸(0.8ml)の存在下において、ディーン−スターク装置における還流で、トルエン(100mL)における3−ブロモアセトフェノン(100g、0.503mol)の縮合により調製した。室温に冷却した後、沈殿物を、ろ過により単離し、ジクロロメタンに溶解し、ジクロロメタンで溶出するシリカのプラグを通過させた。揮発性物質を除去し、得られたピンク色の固形物を、熱トルエン(400ml)から再結晶化した。ついで、ろ過により単離した白色の材料を、トルエン/ヘキサン(200ml:400ml)の混合物から再結晶化して、生成物を白色の結晶として取得した(53g)。
モノマー39を、下記の反応スキームに基づいて調製した。

比較例1
50モル%の化合物(28)、40モル%の化合物(36)および10モル%の化合物(30)のポリマーを調製し、ポリマーを、反応iiiで調製した化合物(21)にブレンドした。得られたブレンドは、7.8モル%のIr錯体と、92.2モル%のポリマー骨格ユニットとを含んだ。
ポジティブ(正孔)とネガティブ(電子)との電荷キャリアのバランスを最適化するのが好ましい。
構成中、ITOは、インジウム−スズ酸化物アノードであり;HILは、Plextronics Inc.から入手した正孔注入材料の層であり;HTLは、正孔輸送層であり;ELGは、緑色リン光発光材料を含む発光層であり;ELRは、赤色リン光発光層であり;ELBは、青色蛍光発光層であり;および、カソードは、金属フッ化物、アルミニウムおよび銀の三層を含むカソードである。
Claims (13)
- ユニットα、β、γおよびδを含む直鎖状のポリマーであって:
ユニットαが、30モル%から60モル%で存在し、置換または無置換のフェニレン、ビフェニレンまたはナフチレンであり;
ユニットβが、1モル%から30モル%で存在し、式:
で表されるフルオレンを含むユニットあり、前記式中、R 1 およびR 2 が、独立して、20個以下の炭素原子のアルキル、20個以下の炭素原子のアルケニル、20個以下の炭素原子のアリールであり、前記アリールの基上の置換基が、1つのC 1−8 アルキル基または結合して4から6個の炭素原子の環を形成していてもよい2つのC 1−8 アルキル基であり;および、qが、0または1であり、および、Qが、式:
の基の窒素原子により前記フルオレンに付着され;前記式中、Ar 1 が、1または2つのC 1−8 アルキルまたはC 1−8 アルコキシの基で置換されている又は無置換のフェニレン基であり、および、Ar 2 が、1または2つのC 1−8 アルキルまたはC 1−8 アルコキシの基で置換されている又は無置換のフェニル基であり;
ユニットγが、1モル%から40モル%で存在し、トリアジン環の炭素原子上においてフェニル基で置換されているトリアジンを含み、前記フェニル基が、無置換であるか1から20個の炭素原子のアルキル基で置換されており、前記トリアジンは、2つの異なるアリーレン基の付着により前記ポリマーに結合されており;
ユニットδが、0.5モル%から15モル%で存在し、イリジウム錯体を含み、前記イリジウム錯体はポリマー骨格に吊り下げられており;
ならびに、前記α、β、γおよびδの合計が、100モル%未満の場合、20モル%以下の他のユニットを含んでもよい、
該ポリマー。 - ユニットαが、置換または無置換の1,4−フェニレン基である、請求項1に記載のポリマー。
- 2種類以上のβユニットを含む、請求項1または2に記載のポリマー。
- qが0である、少なくとも1種類のβユニット、および、qが1である、少なくとも1種類のβユニットを含む、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のポリマー。
- ユニットγが、2つのアリーレン基のそれぞれを介して、前記ポリマー内に結合される、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載のポリマー。
- ユニットδが、3つのフェニルピリジル配位子を含む、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載のポリマー。
- 前記イリジウム錯体が、少なくとも1つのデンドロンを含むデンドリマーである、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載のポリマー。
- ユニットδが、前記イリジウム錯体が結合されているアリーレン繰り返しユニットである、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載のポリマー。
- 前記イリジウム錯体が、前記アリーレン繰り返しユニットに直接結合されているか、または、鎖によりそれに結合されている、請求項8に記載のポリマー。
- 前記ポリマーが、前記α、β、γおよびδの合計が、100モル%未満の場合、10モル%以下の他のユニットを含む、請求項1から9のいずれかに記載のポリマー。
- Suzuki重合によるユニットモノマー同士の反応を含む、請求項1から10のいずれかに記載のポリマーを調製するための方法。
- 請求項1から10のいずれかに記載のポリマーと、青色エレクトロルミネッセンス材料と、赤色エレクトロルミネッセンス材料とを含む、
白色発光デバイス。 - 請求項1から10のいずれかに記載のポリマー、前記青色エレクトロルミネッセンス材料および前記赤色エレクトロルミネッセンス材料が、3つの異なるエレクトロルミネッセンス層である、請求項12に記載のデバイス。
