本発明は、一つの実施形態において、
マグネシウムを含むマトリックス;および前記マトリックス上に形成される皮膜を含み、
前記皮膜は、平均大きさが50〜100nmであり、下記の化学式1で表される化合物を含有する板状構造の結晶を含み、

ただし、下記の実施例および実験例は本発明を例示するだけのもので、本発明の内容は下記の実施例および実験例に限定されるものではない。
1cm×1cm×0.4Tのマグネシウムを含む試片をアルカリ洗浄液に浸漬して脱脂し、脱脂された試片を下記の表1に表わした時間の間、100℃、10重量%NaOH溶液に浸漬した。その後、前記試片を蒸溜水でリンシングし、乾燥オーブンで乾燥させて発色処理された試片を製造した。
1cm×1cm×0.4Tのマグネシウムを含む試片をアルカリ洗浄液に浸漬して脱脂し、脱脂された試片を下記の表2に示した通り、100℃浸漬溶液に浸漬した。その後、前記試片を蒸溜水でリンシングし、乾燥オーブンで乾燥させて発色処理された試片を製造した。
本発明に係る発色処理された基材の皮膜を構成する成分および皮膜の構造を確認するために下記のような実験を遂行した。
浸漬時間により表面で具現される色相および色相均一度を確認するために下記のような実験を遂行した。
本発明に係る発色処理された基材の皮膜形成において、浸漬溶液の種類および浸漬時間が及ぼす影響を評価するために下記のような実験を遂行した。

- マグネシウムを含むマトリックス;および
前記マトリックス上に形成される皮膜
を含む、発色処理された基材であって、
皮膜の平均厚さは、1〜900nmであり、
前記皮膜は、下記の化学式1で表される化合物を含有する、平均大きさが50〜100nmである板状構造の結晶を含み、
前記結晶は、下記の数学式1の条件を満足し、
発色処理された基材に対するX線回折測定時、下記の数学式2の条件を満足する、発色処理された基材:

2θで表示される18.5±1.0°、38.0±1.0°、50.5±1.0°、58.5±1.0°、62.0±1.0°および68.5±1.0°の回折ピーク値を含む、請求項1に記載の発色処理された基材。 - 皮膜上に存在する任意の領域(横1cmおよび縦1cm)に含まれる任意の3点は、
各地点間の平均色座標偏差(ΔL*、Δa*、Δb*)が、ΔL*<0.4、Δa*<0.3およびΔb*<0.5の中の一つ以上の条件を満足する、請求項1に記載の発色処理された基材。 - 皮膜上に形成されたトップコートをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の発色処理された基材。
- マグネシウムを含むマトリックス上に皮膜を形成する段階を含み、
皮膜を形成する段階は、マグネシウムを含むマトリックスを水酸化溶液に浸漬して遂行され、
水酸化溶液の温度は90℃〜200℃であり、
浸漬時間は1分間〜180分間であり、
皮膜の平均厚さは、1〜900nmであり、
前記皮膜は、下記の化学式1で表される化合物を含有する、平均大きさが50〜100nmである板状構造の粒子が、前記マトリックスの表面または前記マトリックス表面に水平な面と結晶の長軸面上に存在する任意の軸がなす平均傾斜角が30°以下となるように積層された構造を有する、基材の発色処理方法:

- 皮膜を形成する段階は、
マグネシウムを含むマトリックスをN1濃度の水酸化溶液に浸漬する第1浸漬段階;および
前記マトリックスをNn濃度の水酸化溶液に浸漬する第n浸漬段階を含み、
第1および第n浸漬段階で、水酸化溶液の濃度は互いに独立的に下記の数学式4および5を満足し、nは2以上6以下の整数である、請求項5に記載の基材の発色処理方法:
