Claims (3)
- 燃料ガスと酸化剤ガスとの電気化学反応により発電する発電セルを有し、複数の前記発電セルが積層された燃料電池スタックと、前記燃料電池スタックが収容されるスタックケースとを備える燃料電池システムであって、
前記スタックケースは、前記発電セルの積層方向両端に配置される一対のエンドプレート、前記発電セルの側面に沿って配置される一対のサイドプレート、前記発電セルの上方に配置される上プレート及び前記発電セルの下方に配置される下プレートにより構成されるとともに、
前記上プレートと前記一対のエンドプレート及び前記一対のサイドプレートとの間には、矩形ループ形状の上シール部材が介装される一方、
前記下プレートと前記一対のエンドプレート及び前記一対のサイドプレートとの間には、矩形ループ形状の下シール部材が介装され、
前記上シール部材の角部及び前記下シール部材の角部のうち少なくとも1つには長さ調整用の延長部が設けられ、
前記延長部は、前記角部において外周側に突出するループ形状に形成されることを特徴とする燃料電池システム。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池システムであって、前記一対のエンドプレート及び前記一対のサイドプレートには、前記上シール部材を収納する上溝部及び前記下シール部材を収納する下溝部が形成されるとともに、
前記上溝部及び前記下溝部は、該上シール部材及び該下シール部材の外周側にのみ凸部を有することを特徴とする燃料電池システム。 - 請求項1又は2記載の燃料電池システムであって、前記上シール部材の対向する2辺は、該2辺に交差する他の2辺と異なる高さ位置に配置されるとともに、
前記下シール部材の対向する2辺は、該2辺に交差する他の2辺と異なる高さ位置に配置されることを特徴とする燃料電池システム。
