注入量:100μL(試料濃度4mg/mLのテトラヒドロフラン溶液)
標準試料:下記の単分散ポリスチレンを用いて検量線を作成した。

攪拌機、還流冷却管、温度計および窒素吹き込み管を備えた4つ口フラスコにイソプロピルアルコール(以下、「IPA」と略記する。)123質量部を仕込み80℃に昇温し、これにアクリルアミド 135.3質量部、ラウリルメタクリレート 108.2質量部、メチルアクリレート2.5質量部、IPA 246質量部、重合開始剤(和光純薬株式会社製「V−59」、アゾ開始剤)4質量部、及びメチルエチルケトン(以下、「MEK」と略記する。)10質量部の溶解混合物を2時間かけて滴下し、73〜77℃で反応を行った。次いで、反応容器内を同温度範囲で2時間ホールドし、重合反応を終了した。得られた樹脂溶液から減圧ポンプを用いて脱溶剤(0.08〜0.095MPa、60℃)した後、乾燥機を用いて80℃で30分間加熱乾燥を行い、固形物として、パルプ解繊用樹脂組成物(1)を得た。このパルプ解繊用樹脂組成物(1)の重量平均分子量は15,000であった。
板パルプ(Howe Sound Pulp and Paper製)を固形分50質量部になるよう水に一晩含浸させた後、粉砕したものと、実施例1で得たパルプ解繊用樹脂組成物(1)を乾燥させた粉とを固形分で同質量ずつ混合し、加圧ニーダーで90分攪拌し、繊維強化材料(1)を得た。
上記で得た繊維強化材料(1) 2質量部、ポリエチレン(HDPE 320Jを機械粉砕したもの)8質量部、及び酸化防止剤(BASFジャパン株式会社製「イルガノックス1010」)0.3質量部をヘンシェルミキサーで2分間混合し、140℃に加熱した二軸押出機(株式会社テクノベル製)で溶融・混練し、パルプ固形分10質量%の成形材料(1)のペレットを得た。

スクリュー回転数:300rpm
吐出量:800g/hr
温度設定:140℃
上記で得られた成形材料(1)のペレットを射出成形機(住友重機械製 iM18)で、ASTM4号(1.6mm厚)の成形片を作製した。
温度条件:成形機140℃、型温40℃
金型ASTM4号(1.6mm厚)
上記で得た1.6mm厚さの試験片を、引張試験機(株式会社島津製作所製「AUTOGRAPH AGS−X」)を用いて引張試験を行った。
引張速度:10mm/min
チャック間距離:64mm
上記で得られた成形材料(1)のペレットをポリエチレンテレフタレート製シートに挟み、160℃で1mm厚さにプレスした後、中央部を1cm2切り取り金属メッシュに包み、熱キシレンで樹脂を抽出後、金網に残ったセルロースを乾燥させ、SEMで5000倍に拡大観察し、サンプルの3箇所を無作為に撮影し下記の基準により解繊性を評価した。
◎:繊維径5μm以上の未解繊繊維が観察視野中に確認できなかった
〇:繊維径5μm以上10μm未満の未解繊繊維が観察視野に1本以上確認できた
×:繊維径10μm以上の未解繊繊維が観察視野に1本以上確認できた
攪拌機、還流冷却管、温度計および窒素吹き込み管を備えた4つ口フラスコにIPA 123質量部を仕込み80℃に昇温し、これにアクリルアミド 110.7質量部、ラウリルメタクリレート 110.7質量部、メタアクリル酸 12.3質量部、2−ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート12.3質量部、IPA 246質量部、重合開始剤(和光純薬株式会社製「V−59」、アゾ開始剤)4質量部、及びメチルエチルケトン(以下、「MEK」と略記する。)10質量部の溶解混合物を2時間かけて滴下し、73〜77℃で反応を行った。次いで、反応容器内を同温度範囲で2時間ホールドし、重合反応を終了した。得られた樹脂溶液から減圧ポンプを用いて脱溶剤(0.08〜0.095MPa、60℃)した後、乾燥機を用いて80℃で30分間加熱乾燥を行い、固形物として、パルプ解繊用樹脂組成物(2)を得た。このパルプ解繊用樹脂組成物(2)の重量平均分子量は17,000であった。
攪拌機、還流冷却管、温度計および窒素吹き込み管を備えた4つ口フラスコにIPA 123質量部を仕込み80℃に昇温し、これにアクリルアミド 110.7質量部、メチルメタクリレート 110.7質量部、メタアクリル酸 12.3質量部、2−ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート12.3質量部、IPA 246質量部、重合開始剤(和光純薬株式会社製「V−59」、アゾ開始剤)4質量部、及びメチルエチルケトン(以下、「MEK」と略記する。)10質量部の溶解混合物を2時間かけて滴下し、73〜77℃で反応を行った。次いで、反応容器内を同温度範囲で2時間ホールドし、重合反応を終了した。得られた樹脂溶液から減圧ポンプを用いて脱溶剤(0.08〜0.095MPa、60℃)した後、乾燥機を用いて80℃で30分間加熱乾燥を行い、固形物として、パルプ解繊用樹脂組成物(R1)を得た。このパルプ解繊用樹脂組成物(R1)の重量平均分子量は17,000であった。
Claims (5)
- 炭素原子数が6〜18のアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル(a1)、及びアミド基を有するアクリル単量体(a2)を必須原料とする重量平均分子量が5,000〜100,000のアクリル樹脂(A)を含有し、
前記アクリル樹脂(A)の原料である単量体成分中の前記アクリル単量体(a2)が55〜70質量%の範囲である、パルプ解繊用樹脂組成物。 - 前記アクリル樹脂(A)の原料である単量体成分中の前記(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル(a1)が30〜45質量%の範囲である、請求項1に記載のパルプ解繊用樹脂組成物。
- 前記アクリル樹脂(A)の原料として、メチル(メタ)アクリレートをさらに含む、請求項1又は2に記載のパルプ解繊用樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のパルプ解繊用樹脂組成物及びセルロース繊維を含有することを特徴とする繊維強化材料。
- 請求項4記載の繊維強化材料及び熱可塑性樹脂を含有することを特徴とする成形材料。
