Description
さらに、第1別体部材は、ダンパスプリングの外周側に位置して当該ダンパスプリングの側面と対峙する外壁部を有するとともに、第2別体部材は、ダンパスプリングの内周側に位置して当該ダンパスプリングの側面と対峙する内壁部を有するので、第1別体部材の外壁部及び第2別体部材の内壁部の間にダンパスプリングを保持させることができる。
本実施形態に係るトルクダンパ装置としてのロックアップクラッチ装置10は、トルクコンバータ1(流体継手)内に配設されたもので、図1〜8に示すように、入力部材としてのクラッチピストン11と、第1別体部材14と、第2別体部材15と、ダンパスプリング(第1ダンパスプリングS1、第2ダンパスプリングS2及び第3ダンパスプリングS3)とから主に構成されており、クラッチピストン11が連結位置にあるとき、トルコンカバー5に入力されたエンジンのトルクを当該クラッチピストン11、第1別体部材14、第2別体部材15及びダンパスプリングを介してタービン3に伝達するためのものである。
上記実施形態の如く、第1別体部材14及び第2別体部材15を具備しつつダンパスプリングがストレート状のコイルスプリングから成るものを実施例1とし、第1別体部材14及び第2別体部材15を具備しつつダンパスプリングがアーク状(円弧状)のコイルスプリングから成るものを実施例2とするとともに、ダンパスプリングをアーク状のコイルスプリングとし、第1別体部材14のみを介在させたものを比較例1、ダンパスプリングをストレート状のコイルスプリングとし、第1別体部材14のみを介在させたものを比較例2とした。

Claims (4)
- エンジンのトルクが入力される入力部材と、
該入力部材から入力されたトルクの変動を吸収し得るダンパスプリングと、
を具備し、当該入力部材及びダンパスプリングを介してエンジンの駆動力が伝達され得るトルクダンパ装置において、
前記ダンパスプリングは、前記入力部材の周方向に亘って配設された複数のコイルスプリングから成るとともに、それぞれのダンパスプリングの間に介在し、エンジンのトルクが伝達されると互いに独立して相対的に回転可能な第1別体部材及び第2別体部材を有して構成され、
前記第1別体部材は、前記ダンパスプリングの外周側に位置して当該ダンパスプリングの側面と対峙する外壁部を有するとともに、前記第2別体部材は、前記ダンパスプリングの内周側に位置して当該ダンパスプリングの側面と対峙する内壁部を有することを特徴とするトルクダンパ装置。 - 前記ダンパスプリングは、伸縮方向に対して略直線状のストレート状コイルスプリングから成ることを特徴とする請求項1記載のトルクダンパ装置。
- 前記ダンパスプリングは、第1ダンパスプリング、第2ダンパスプリング及び第3ダンパスプリングを有するものとされ、前記入力部材から入力されたトルクが、第1ダンパスプリング、第1別体部材、第2ダンパスプリング、第2別体部材、及び第3ダンパスプリングを介して出力されるよう構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載のトルクダンパ装置。
- 前記入力部材は、トルクコンバータのトルコンカバー内に配設され、当該トルコンカバーに対して連結位置と非連結位置とで移動可能とされるとともに、連結位置でエンジンのトルクが伝達されて回転可能なクラッチピストンから成り、当該クラッチピストンが連結位置のとき、エンジンのトルクを前記トルクコンバータのタービンに伝達可能とされたことを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか1つに記載のトルクダンパ装置。
