Description
Claims (15)
- 車両の速度制御システムを操作する方法であって、
車両関連情報を示す1つまたはそれ以上の電気信号を取得するステップと、
車両関連情報を示す電気信号に基づいて、1つまたはそれ以上の所定条件が合致するか否か判断するステップと、
1つまたはそれ以上の所定条件のうち少なくとも1つの所定条件が合致すると判断された場合、速度制御システムのベースライン設定速度を自動的に決定するステップと、
速度制御システムの瞬間的な設定速度を決定するために、許容可能な車両本体の動きのレベルに対応した乗員興奮度の上限値を有する所望の快適性レベルを示す信号に基づいて、ベースライン設定速度を調整するステップと、
車両関連情報を示す電気信号に基づいて、1つまたはそれ以上の所定条件が合致するか否か判断する前記ステップは、
車両が走行している地形が特定タイプの表面を有すること、および
車両本体が特定の手法で動作していることのうちの1つまたはそれ以上を判断するステップを含み、
車両関連情報を用いて、車両の1つまたはそれ以上の操作パラメータをモニタし、モニタされた車両の操作パラメータに少なくとも部分的に基づいて、1つまたはそれ以上の所定条件が合致するか否かを判断するステップとを有することを特徴とする方法。 - 車両(10)のための電子制御ユニット(ECU16)を備えた速度制御システム(28)であって、
電子制御ユニット(16)は、
車両関連情報を示す1つまたはそれ以上の電気信号を取得し、
車両関連情報を示す電気信号に基づいて、1つまたはそれ以上の所定条件が合致するか否か判断し、
1つまたはそれ以上の所定条件のうち少なくとも1つの所定条件が合致すると判断された場合、速度制御システムのベースライン設定速度を自動的に決定し、
速度制御システム(28)の瞬間的な設定速度を決定するために、許容可能な車両本体の動きのレベルに対応した乗員興奮度の上限値を有する所望の快適性レベルを示す信号に基づいて、ベースライン設定速度を調整し、
車両関連情報を示す電気信号に基づいて、1つまたはそれ以上の所定条件が合致するか否かについて、
車両が走行している地形が特定タイプの表面を有すること、および
車両本体が特定の手法で動作していることのうちの1つまたはそれ以上を判断することにより判断し、
車両関連情報を用いて、車両の1つまたはそれ以上の操作パラメータをモニタし、モニタされた車両の操作パラメータに少なくとも部分的に基づいて、1つまたはそれ以上の所定条件が合致するか否かを判断するように構成されたことを特徴とする速度制御システム。 - 1つまたはそれ以上の電気信号のそれぞれが、車両関連情報に付随する1つまたはそれ以上の閾値を有し、
電子制御ユニット(16)は、1つまたはそれ以上の所定条件が合致するか否かについて、
1つまたはそれ以上の電気信号を処理し、
1つまたはそれ以上の電気信号のうちの任意の電気信号が車両関連情報に付随する1つまたはそれ以上の閾値を超えるか否かを判断することにより判断するように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の速度制御システム。 - 電子制御ユニット(16)は、快適性を増大させるためにベースライン設定速度を低減させることにより、ベースライン設定速度を調整して、瞬間的な設定速度を決定するように構成されるか、または快適性を低減させるためにベースライン設定速度を増大させることにより、ベースライン設定速度を調整して、瞬間的な設定速度を決定するように構成され、
ベースライン設定速度は、最大設定速度であり、最大設定速度を低減させることにより、瞬間的な設定速度を決定するためにベースライン設定速度を調整して、所望の快適性レベルを実現するように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の速度制御システム。 - 電子制御ユニット(16)は、車両関連情報を示す1つまたはそれ以上の電気信号に基づいて、最大設定速度を決定し、瞬間的な設定速度を最大設定速度以下とするように維持するように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項2〜4のいずれか1に記載の速度制御システム。
- 電子制御ユニット(16)は、最小設定速度を決定し、ベースライン設定速度を調整して、最小設定速度と最大設定速度の間の速度を有する瞬間的な設定速度を決定するように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の速度制御システム。
- 電子制御ユニット(16)は、速度制御システムの設定速度を瞬間的な設定速度に自動的に調整するように構成され、
車両の設定速度を瞬間的な設定速度に制御する手段をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項2〜6のいずれか1に記載の速度制御システム。 - 電子制御ユニット(16)は、車両関連情報を示す1つまたはそれ以上の電気信号が所望の快適性レベルを示す信号の範囲に入るまで、設定速度を増大または低減させることにより、速度制御システムの設定速度を瞬間的な設定速度に自動的に調整するとともに、
電気信号を処理し、処理された電気信号が所望の快適性レベルを示す信号の範囲に入るまで、設定速度を増大または低減させるように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の速度制御システム。 - 電子制御ユニット(16)は、速度制御システム(28)の設定速度を決定された瞬間的な設定速度に調整した後、1つまたはそれ以上の条件のうちの特定の条件が合致するか否か判断し、1つまたはそれ以上の条件のうちの特定の条件がもはや合致しないと判断したとき、車両の設定速度を瞬間的な設定速度から異なる設定速度に調整するように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項7または8に記載の速度制御システム。
- 電子制御ユニット(16)は、車両のユーザ同定を検出し、車両のユーザ同定に少なくとも部分的に基づいて、所望の快適性レベルを決定するように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項2〜9のいずれか1に記載の速度制御システム。
- 電子制御ユニット(16)は、瞬間的な設定速度を決定した後、ユーザ選択による設定速度を示すユーザ入力信号を受信し、ユーザ入力信号に応じて、瞬間的な設定速度をユーザ選択による設定速度に変更するように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項2〜10のいずれか1に記載の速度制御システム。
- 電子制御ユニット(16)は、
車両内の乗員数および/または車両乗員の相対的な乗車位置を検出し、
所望の快適性レベルを示す信号を乗員数および/または乗車位置に少なくとも部分的に基づいて調整するように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項2〜11のいずれか1に記載の速度制御システム。 - 電子制御ユニット(16)は、所望の快適性レベルを示す信号を、車両内の乗員数が少ないほどベースライン設定速度を大きくするように調整するように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項2〜12のいずれか1に記載の速度制御システム。
- 請求項2〜13のいずれか1に記載の速度制御システムを備えた車両。
- 請求項1に記載の方法を実行する車両(10)を制御するコンピュータ可読コードを含む担持媒体。
