Abstract
Description
1.被塗物上に、下記特徴のプライマー塗料組成物(A)による未硬化塗膜を形成し、該未硬化塗膜上に、下記特徴の上塗塗料組成物(B)による上塗塗膜を形成し、両塗膜を同時に乾燥する複層塗膜形成方法であって、
上塗塗料組成物(B)塗装時のプライマー塗料組成物(A)による未硬化塗膜の粘度が5Pa・s〜1000Pa・sの範囲内であり、
上塗塗料組成物(B)塗装時のプライマー塗料組成物(A)による未硬化塗膜の質量固形分濃度(%)の値(NV2)からプライマー塗料組成物(A)の塗装質量固形分濃度(%)の値(NV1)を差し引いた値であるΔNVが15以上である複層塗膜形成方法。
重量平均分子量20000以上のエポキシ樹脂(a1)、防錆顔料(a2)、着色顔料(a3)及び体質顔料(a4)を含有する組成物であって、エポキシ樹脂(a1)の固形分合計100質量部を基準にして、防錆顔料(a2)を1〜70質量部、着色顔料(a3)を40〜150質量部及び体質顔料(a4)を40〜150質量部含有する塗料組成物
上塗塗料組成物(B):
アクリル樹脂(b1)、ポリイソシアネート化合物(b2)、シランカップリング剤(b3)及び平均粒子径0.01〜5.0μmの硫酸バリウム(b4)を含有する組成物であって、アクリル樹脂(b1)とポリイソシアネート化合物(b2)の固形分合計100質量部を基準にして、アクリル樹脂(b1)を60〜90質量部、ポリイソシアネート化合物(b2)を10〜40質量部の比率で含有し、かつ硫酸バリウム(b4)を1〜50質量部含有する塗料組成物、
2.プライマー塗料組成物(A)が、エポキシ樹脂(a1)の固形分合計100質量部を基準にして、シランカップリング剤(a5)を0.1〜10質量部含有する1項に記載の複層塗膜形成方法、
3.プライマー塗料組成物(A)が、エポキシ樹脂(a1)の固形分合計100質量部を基準にして、体質顔料(a4)の少なくとも一部としてタルクを0.1〜30質量部含有する1項又は2項に記載の複層塗膜形成方法、
4.上塗塗料組成物(B)が、アクリル樹脂(b1)とポリイソシアネート化合物(b2)の固形分合計100質量部を基準にして、ポリエーテルポリオールを0.1〜30質量部含有する1〜3項のいずれか1項に記載の複層塗膜形成方法、
5.1〜4項のいずれか1項に記載の複層塗膜形成方法を用いて塗装された建設機械又は産業機械、に関する。
プライマー塗料組成物(A)は、エポキシ樹脂(a1)、防錆顔料(a2)、着色顔料(a3)及び体質顔料(a4)を含有する組成物であって、エポキシ樹脂(a1)の固形分合計100質量部を基準にして、防錆顔料(a2)を1〜70質量部、着色顔料(a3)を40〜150質量部及び体質顔料(a4)を40〜150質量部含有する塗料組成物である。
本発明で使用するエポキシ樹脂(a1)は、ポリフェノール化合物とエピハロヒドリンとの反応によって得られる芳香族系のエポキシ樹脂が好ましい。
プライマー塗料組成物(A)には、防食性の向上を目的として防錆顔料(a2)を含有する。このような防錆顔料(a2)は、例えば、酸化亜鉛、亜リン酸塩化合物、リン酸塩化合物、モリブテン酸塩系化合物、ビスマス化合物、金属イオン交換シリカなどが挙げられる。
着色顔料(a3)としては、チタン白、モリブデン酸亜鉛、モリブデン酸カルシウム、カーボンブラック、黒鉛(グラファイト)、鉄黒(アイアンブラック)、紺青、群青、コバルトブルー、銅フタロシアニンブルー、インダンスロンブルー、黄鉛、合成黄色酸化鉄、透明べんがら、ビスマスバナデート、チタンイエロー、亜鉛黄(ジンクエロー)、モノアゾイエロー、オーカー、モノアゾイエロー、ジスアゾ、イソインドリノンイエロー、金属錯塩アゾイエロー、キノフタロンイエロー、ベンズイミダゾロンイエロー、べんがら、透明べんがら、モノアゾレッド、モノアゾレッド、無置換キナクリドンレッド、アゾレーキ(Mn塩)、キナクリドンマゼンダ、アンサンスロンオレンジ、ジアンスラキノニルレッド、ペリレンマルーン、キナクリドンマゼンダ、ペリレンレッド、ジケトピロロピロールクロムバーミリオン、塩素化フタロシアニングリーン、臭素化フタロシアニングリーン、その他;ピラゾロンオレンジ、ベンズイミダゾロンオレンジ、ジオキサジンバイオレット、ペリレンバイオレットなどが挙げられる。
上記体質顔料(a4)としては、例えば、クレー、シリカ、硫酸バリウム、タルク、炭酸カルシウム、ホワイトカーボン、珪藻土、炭酸マグネシウムアルミニウムフレーク、雲母フレークなどを挙げることができる。
(注)吸油量の合計:エポキシ樹脂(a1)の固形分合計100gに対し、顔料Xが10g、顔料Yが20g、顔料Zが30g配合されているとする。
本発明に用いるプライマー塗料組成物(A)には、防食性向上を目的としてシランカップリング剤(a5)を配合できる。上記シランカップリング剤(a5)としては、例えば、γ−アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ−アミノプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、N−(β−アミノエチル)−γ−アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、N−(β−アミノエチル)−γ−アミノプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、N−(β−アミノエチル)−γ−アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン、γ−ウレイドプロピルトリエトキシシラン、N−(β−(N−ビニルベンジルアミノエチル)−γ−アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ−アニリノプロピルトリメトキシシラン等のアミノ基含有シランカップリング剤;γ−グリシドキシプロピルメチルジメトキシシシラン、γ−グリシドキシプロピルトリエトキシキシシシラン、β−(3,4−エポキシシクロヘキシル)エチルトリメトキシシラン等のエポキシ基含有シランカップリング剤;β−カルボキシルエチルフェニルビス(2−メトキシエトキシ)シラン、N−β−(N−カルボキシメチルアミノエチル)−γ−アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン等のカルボキシル基含有シランカップリング剤などが挙げられる。
上塗塗料組成物は、アクリル樹脂(b1)、ポリイソシアネート化合物(b2)、シランカップリング剤(b3)及び平均粒子径0.01〜5.0μmの硫酸バリウム(b4)を含有する組成物であって、アクリル樹脂(b1)とポリイソシアネート化合物(b2)の固形分合計100質量部を基準にして、アクリル樹脂(b1)を60〜90質量部、ポリイソシアネート化合物(b2)を10〜40質量部の比率で含有し、かつ硫酸バリウム(b4)を1〜50質量部含有する塗料組成物である。
上記アクリル樹脂(b1)は、水酸基含有ラジカル重合性不飽和単量体(b11)及びその他のラジカル重合性不飽和単量体(b12)の混合物を共重合することによって製造できる。
下記の式(1)で表されるN−アルコキシメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド基含有不飽和単量体;等の(メタ)アクリルアミド系単量体が挙げられる。
上記式(1)で表されるN−アルコキシメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド基含有不飽和単量体としては、例えば、N−メトキシメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N−エトキシメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N−プロポキシメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N−イソプロポキシメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N−ブトキシメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N−イソブトキシメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N−ヘキソキシメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N−イソヘキソキシメチル(メタ)アクリルアミドを挙げることができる。
ポリイソシアネート化合物(b2)は、1分子中に遊離のイソシアネート基を2個以上有する化合物である。
本発明に用いる上塗塗料組成物(B)には、下塗(プライマー)塗膜との密着性向上を目的としてシランカップリング剤(b3)が配合される。上記シランカップリング剤(b3)としては、例えば、γ−アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ−アミノプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、N−(β−アミノエチル)−γ−アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、N−(β−アミノエチル)−γ−アミノプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、N−(β−アミノエチル)−γ−アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン、γ−ウレイドプロピルトリエトキシシラン、N−(β−(N−ビニルベンジルアミノエチル)−γ−アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ−アニリノプロピルトリメトキシシラン等のアミノ基含有シランカップリング剤;γ−グリシドキシプロピルメチルジメトキシシシラン、γ−グリシドキシプロピルトリエトキシキシシシラン、β−(3,4−エポキシシクロヘキシル)エチルトリメトキシシラン等のエポキシ基含有シランカップリング剤;β−カルボキシルエチルフェニルビス(2−メトキシエトキシ)シラン、N−β−(N−カルボキシメチルアミノエチル)−γ−アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン等のカルボキシル基含有シランカップリング剤などが挙げられる。
本発明に使用する上塗塗料組成物は、平均粒子径が0.01〜5μm、好ましくは平均粒子径が0.05〜1μmの硫酸バリウム(b4)を含有する。(以下、平均粒子径0.01〜5μmの硫酸バリウム(b4)を単に硫酸バリウム(b4)と略称する)。
本発明に使用する上塗塗料組成物には、必要に応じて、仕上り性向上等の観
点から、ポリエーテルポリオールを使用することができる。
ポリエーテルポリオールの市販品としては、例えばサンニックスGP−600、サンニックスGP−1000、エクセノール430、エクセノール385SO、エクセノール450ED、エクセノール500ED、エクセノール750ED(以上、旭硝子株式会社、商品名)、アデカポリエーテル(アデカ株式会社、商品名)、アクトコールT−1000(三井化学株式会社、商品名)等を挙げることができる。このようなポリエーテルポリオールの数平均分子量は、3,000未満、好ましくは90〜2,000、さらに好ましくは500〜1,500である。
の配合量は、アクリル樹脂(b1)とポリイソシアネート化合物(b2)の固形分合計100質量部を基準にして、0.1〜30質量部、好ましくは1〜20質量部、さらに好ましくは3〜15質量部の範囲であることが、仕上り性に優れた塗膜を得ることができる点から好ましい。
本発明の複層塗膜形成方法は、被塗物上に、前記のプライマー塗料組成物(A)
による未硬化塗膜を形成し、該未硬化塗膜上に、前記の上塗塗料組成物(B)による上塗塗膜を形成し、両塗膜を同時に乾燥して塗膜を形成する方法である。
鉛メッキ鋼板等が挙げられる。これらは必要に応じて、ショットブラスト、表面調整、表面処理などを施したものであってもよい。
ロール刷毛塗り、スプレーコート、ロールコート、スピンコート、ディップコート、バーコート、フローコート、静電塗装、エアレス塗装、電着塗装、ダイコート等の塗装方法によって行うことができる。乾燥膜厚は、通常10μm〜150μm、好ましくは30μm〜80μmの範囲内が適している。
製造例No.1 プライマー塗料組成物No.1の製造例
以下の工程1〜工程2によって、プライマー塗料組成物No.1を得た。
アラキード9205(注1)を50部(固形分)、EXPERT NP1000(注4)20部、タイピュアR−902(注6)70部、LAKABAR SF(注8)40部、ネオライトSA−200(注10)70部に、キシレン及びスワゾール1000(コスモ石油株式会社製、芳香族炭化水素系溶媒)を適量加え、サンドミルにて分散し、顔料分散ペーストを得た。
上記にて得た顔料分散ペーストに、アラキード9205(注1)を50部(固形分)、ディスパロンA 603−20X(注13)1部を配合し、キシレン及びスワゾール1000(コスモ石油株式会社製、芳香族炭化水素系溶媒)を加えて攪拌し、固形分を調整することによって固形分70%のプライマー塗料組成物No.1を得た。
表1の配合内容とする以外は、製造例No.1と同様にして、各プライマー塗料組成物No.2〜No.11を得た。
表2の配合内容とする以外は、製造例No.1と同様にして、各プライマー塗料組成物No.12〜No.18を得た。

上塗塗料組成物の製造
製造例No.16 アクリル樹脂溶液の製造
スワゾール1000(コスモ石油株式会社製、芳香族炭化水素系溶媒)28部、トルエン85部、スチレン41.6部、n−ブチルアクリレート6.9部、イソブチルメタクリレート19部、プラクセルFM−3(注16)15部、2−ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート17部、アクリル酸0.5部、ジ−tert−ブチルハイドロパーオキサイド8部を窒素ガス下で110℃において反応させて、固形分質量濃度45%のアクリル樹脂溶液を得た。得られたアクリル樹脂は、酸価3.9mgKOH/g、水酸基価94.9mgKOH/g、重量平均分子量11,000であった。

製造例No.17 ポリエステル変性アクリル樹脂溶液の製造(特開平8−302204号公報に準ずる)
攪拌装置、温度計、冷却管および窒素ガス導入管を備えた4ツ口フラスコに、ベッコゾール P−470−70(DIC社製、商品名、大豆油系長油アルキド樹脂)143部、及びミネラル・スピリット 457部を仕込んで、100℃にまで昇温した。
製造例No.16で得たアクリル樹脂溶液を80部(固形分)、タイペークCR−93(注7)12部、ホスターパームエローH−3G(注17)12部、バリファインBF−20(注18)を15部、Bayferrox4905(注21)12部及びTINUVIN292(注22)1部を配合し、スワゾール1000(コスモ石油株式会社製、芳香族炭化水素系溶媒)で固形分を調整した混合物を、サンドミルにて分散することによってベース塗料を得た。さらに塗装直前に、スミジュールN3300(注24)20部(固形分)及びKBM−403(注12)0.5部を混合攪拌し、固形分60%の上塗塗料組成物No.1を得た。
表3の配合内容とする以外は、製造例No.12と同様にして上塗塗料組成物No.2〜No.4を得た。
表4の配合内容とする以外は、製造例No.12と同様にして、上塗塗料組成物No.5〜No.8を得た。

<複層塗膜形成塗板の作成>
実施例No.1 複層塗膜形成塗板No.1の作成
下記の工程1〜工程3によって、複層塗膜形成塗板No.1を得た。
工程1のプライマー塗料組成物と工程2の上塗塗料組成物を表5の塗料とする以外は、実施例No.1と同様にして、複層塗膜形成塗板No.2〜No.14を得た。
工程1のプライマー塗料組成物と工程2の上塗塗料組成物を表6の塗料とする以外は、実施例No.1と同様にして、複層塗膜形成塗板No.15〜No.25を得た。
各複層塗膜形成塗板を用い、後記の試験条件に従って塗膜性能試験に供した。結果を表5及び表6に併せて示す。
複層塗膜形成塗板No.1の作成の工程1後の未硬化プライマー塗膜をへらでかきとり、レオメータ(HAAKE社製 RS150)を用いて、温度23℃、ずり速度0.1(s−1)の粘度(Pa・s)を測定した。
NV1及びNV2をそれぞれ以下のようにして測定し、
ΔNV=NV2−NV1を算出することにより値を求めた。
複層塗膜形成塗板の作成の工程1後の未硬化プライマー塗膜をへらで約0.5g程かきとって、直径52mmのアルミカップに採取して、採取重量(c)を測定した。その後、80℃で30分間乾燥させ、乾燥後の採取プライマー塗膜の重量(d)を測定し、(d/c)×100を算出することにより、NV2(%)の値を測定した。
(注25)仕上り性:実施例及び比較例によって得た複層塗膜形成塗板の塗面外観を目視で評価した。
◎は、上塗塗膜とプライマー塗膜の混層もなく平滑性が良好で、かつ60度光沢値が90以上であった。
○は、上塗塗膜とプライマー塗膜の混層もなく平滑性が良好で、かつ60度光沢値が75以上90未満であった。
△は、上塗塗膜とプライマー塗膜が混層しており、うねり、ツヤビケ及びチリ肌から選ばれる少なくとも1種の仕上り性の低下がやや見られ、60度光沢値が60以上75未満であった。
×は、上塗塗膜とプライマー塗膜の混層が著しく、うねり、ツヤビケ、チリ肌から選ばれる少なくとも1種の仕上り性の低下が著しく、60度光沢値が60未満であった。
(注26)鉛筆硬度:実施例及び比較例によって得た複層塗膜形成塗板を、JIS K 5600−5−4に準じて、試験塗板面に対し約45°の角度に鉛筆の芯を当て、芯が折れない程度に強く試験塗板面に押し付けながら前方に均一な速さで約10mm動かした。塗膜が破れなかったもっとも硬い鉛筆の硬度記号を鉛筆硬度とした。
(注27)防食性:実施例及び比較例によって得た複層塗膜形成塗板に、ナイフでクロスカット傷を入れ、これをJIS Z−2371に準じて120時間耐塩水噴霧試験を行い、ナイフ傷からの錆、フクレ幅によって以下の基準で評価した。
◎は、錆、フクレの最大幅が、カット部から2mm未満(片側)。
○は、錆、フクレの最大幅が、カット部から2mm以上でかつ3mm未満(片側)。
△は、錆、フクレの最大幅が、カット部から3mm以上でかつ4mm未満(片側)。
×は、錆、フクレの最大幅が、カット部から4mm以上(片側)。
(注28)耐候性:実施例及び比較例によって得た複層塗膜形成塗板を、JIS B−7533に規定されたサンシャインカーボンアーク灯式耐光性及び耐候性試験において、照射時間が最大1,200時間となるまで試験を行った。試験板の塗膜において、試験前の光沢に対する光沢保持率が80%となる照射時間を測定した。
◎は、照射時間が1,200時間となっても光沢保持率が80%以上である。
○は、光沢保持率が80%を割る照射時間が1,000時間以上、かつ1200時間未満である。
△は、光沢保持率が80%を割る照射時間が800時間以上、かつ1,000時間未満である。
×は、光沢保持率が80%を割る照射時間が800時間未満である。
(注29)耐チッピング性:実施例及び比較例によって得た複層塗膜形成塗板を、チッピング試験装置(スガ試験機社製、飛石試験機「JA−400型」)の試片保持台に、石の吹き出し口に対して塗面が直角になるように固定し、20℃において、0.294MPa(3kgf/cm2)の圧縮空気により粒度6号の花崗岩砕石500gを5回、塗面に吹き付けた後、塗面に布粘着テープ(富士工業社製)を貼着し、それを急激に剥離後、塗膜のキズの発生程度等を、下記基準により評価した。
◎は、キズの大きさが直径1.0mm以下
〇は、キズの大きさが直径1.0mmを超えて1.5mm以下
△は、キズの大きさが直径1.5mmを超えて2.0mm以下
×は、キズの大きさが直径2.0mmを超えている

- 被塗物上に、下記特徴のプライマー塗料組成物(A)による未硬化塗膜を形成し、該未硬化塗膜上に、下記特徴の上塗塗料組成物(B)による上塗塗膜を形成し、両塗膜を同時に乾燥する複層塗膜形成方法であって、

上塗塗料組成物(B)塗装時のプライマー塗料組成物(A)による未硬化塗膜の質量固形分濃度(%)の値(NV2)からプライマー塗料組成物(A)の塗装質量固形分濃度(%)の値(NV1)を差し引いた値であるΔNVが15以上である複層塗膜形成方法。
プライマー塗料組成物(A):
重量平均分子量20000以上のエポキシ樹脂(a1)、防錆顔料(a2)、着色顔料(a3)及び体質顔料(a4)を含有する組成物であって、エポキシ樹脂(a1)の固形分合計100質量部を基準にして、防錆顔料(a2)を1〜70質量部、着色顔料(a3)を40〜150質量部及び体質顔料(a4)を40〜150質量部含有する塗料組成物
上塗塗料組成物(B):
アクリル樹脂(b1)、ポリイソシアネート化合物(b2)、シランカップリング剤(b3)及び平均粒子径0.01〜5.0μmの硫酸バリウム(b4)を含有する組成物であって、アクリル樹脂(b1)とポリイソシアネート化合物(b2)の固形分合計100質量部を基準にして、アクリル樹脂(b1)を60〜90質量部、ポリイソシアネート化合物(b2)を10〜40質量部の比率で含有し、かつ硫酸バリウム(b4)を1〜50質量部含有する塗料組成物。 - プライマー塗料組成物(A)が、エポキシ樹脂(a1)の固形分合計100質量部を基準にして、シランカップリング剤(a5)を0.1〜10質量部含有する請求項1に記載の複層塗膜形成方法。
- プライマー塗料組成物(A)が、エポキシ樹脂(a1)の固形分合計100質量部を基準にして、体質顔料(a4)の少なくとも一部としてタルクを0.1〜30質量部含有する請求項1又は2に記載の複層塗膜形成方法。
- 上塗塗料組成物(B)が、アクリル樹脂(b1)とポリイソシアネート化合物(b2)の固形分合計100質量部を基準にして、ポリエーテルポリオールを0.1〜30質量部含有する請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の複層塗膜形成方法。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の複層塗膜形成方法を用いて複層塗膜を形成する工程を含む、該複層塗膜を有する建設機械又は産業機械の製造方法。
