Description
LD処理部84は、Hブリッジドライバ6に指示を送って界磁巻線2に対する励磁電流の供給を停止させるとともに、UVW相ドライバ4A、XYZ相ドライバ4Bに指示を送って、MOSモジュール群3A、3Bに含まれる全ての下アーム(ローサイド側)のMOSトランジスタ31をオンする。このとき、全ての上アーム(ハイサイド側)のMOSトランジスタ30はオフされる。このようにMOSトランジスタ30、31を制御することにより、固定子巻線1A、1Bに含まれる各相巻線に流れる電流をMOSトランジスタ31を介して循環させることができる。このようにして、パワー電源端子PBの電圧VPBを速やかに低下させるロードダンプ保護動作が行われる。
LD処理部84は、Hブリッジドライバ6に指示を送って界磁巻線2に対する励磁電流の供給を停止させるとともに、発電トルクを抑制するとともに無効電流を増加させるために、UVW相ドライバ4A、XYZ相ドライバ4Bに指示を送って、固定子巻線1A、1Bのそれぞれに流れるq軸電流を0に、d軸電流を0以外の所定値に制御する。この具体例2に対応して図6および図7に示す構成が備わっている。

となる。なお、図7では、d軸成分とq軸成分の両方について1つの加算器181で演算しているように図示したが、実際には、d軸成分について差分を演算する加算器181と、q軸成分について差分を演算する加算器181とが別々に設けられている。
図8に示すように、界磁巻線2に対する界磁電流の供給が停止された後、実際に界磁巻線2に環流する界磁電流の値が0(あるいは、所定値以下)になったときに、ロードダンプが終了した旨の判定が行われる。図8(図9についても同様)において、「VPB」はパワー電源端子PBの電圧を、「LD保護」はロードダンプ保護の動作状態(ハッチングが付された領域が保護動作中であることを示している)を示している。また、「HブリッジSW」はHブリッジ回路5による励磁電流の供給状態(ハイレベルが励磁電流の供給状態を、ローレベルが供給停止状態)を示している。なお、界磁巻線2に対する励磁電流の供給が停止された後も、界磁巻線2に流れる環流電流を検出する必要があるため、励磁電流の供給停止は、Hブリッジ回路5内のMOSトランジスタ50をオフし、MOSトランジスタ51をオンすることにより行われる。また、「If」は界磁巻線2に流れる励磁電流を示している。
図9に示すように、界磁巻線2に対する界磁電流の供給が停止された後、パワー電源端子PBの電圧VPBが第2のしきい値電圧V2まで低下したときに、ロードダンプが終了した旨の判定が行われる。定格48Vの高電圧バッテリ200を用いる場合に、例えば、第2のしきい値電圧V2が52Vに設定されている。なお、この場合の第2のしきい値電圧V2(=52V)は、異常が発生していない通常時の発電電圧を想定しているが、通常時の発電電圧よりも低く、あるいは、高く第2のしきい値電圧V2を設定するようにしてもよい。なお、上述したロードダンプの終了判定の具体例1、2は、いずれか一方に該当する場合にロードダンプが終了した旨の判定を行う場合の他、両方に該当する場合にロードダンプが終了した旨の判定を行うようにしてもよい。

- 回転子(20)の界磁極を磁化させる界磁巻線(2)と、
前記界磁極によって発生する回転磁界によって交流電圧を発生する固定子巻線(1A、1B)と、
前記固定子巻線に発生した交流電圧を直流電圧に変換する電力変換器(3A、3B)と、
前記電力変換器の出力端子に接続された第1の電力供給路とは別の第2の電力供給路を介して動作電力が供給されており、前記出力端子の電圧が第1のしきい値電圧を超えたときにロードダンプ保護動作を行うロードダンプ処理部(82、84)と、

前記電力変換器の出力端子が接続される第1のバッテリ(200)とは別の第2のバッテリ(202)が接続されており、前記ロードダンプ処理部の動作電力を生成する電源回路(10)をさらに備えることを特徴とする車両用回転電機。 - 請求項1または2において、
前記ロードダンプ処理部は、発電トルクを抑制するとともに無効電流を増加させることによりロードダンプ保護動作を行うことを特徴とする車両用回転電機。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか一項において、
前記ロードダンプ処理部は、前記固定子巻線に流れるq軸電流を0に、d軸電流を0以外の所定値に制御することによりロードダンプ保護動作を行うことを特徴とする車両用回転電機。 - 請求項1または2において、
前記電力変換器は、上アームおよび下アームの少なくとも一方をスイッチング素子(30、31)によって構成したブリッジ回路を有し、
前記ロードダンプ処理部は、全ての上アームあるいは全ての下アームに対応する前記スイッチング素子をオンすることによりロードダンプ保護動作を行うことを特徴とする車両用回転電機。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか一項において、
前記ロードダンプ処理部は、前記電力変換器の出力端子の電圧が前記第1のしきい値電圧よりも低い第2のしきい値電圧まで低下したときにロードダンプ保護動作を終了することを特徴とする車両用回転電機。
