Description
第1部材に突設された溶着突起を、第2部材における該第1部材に対向する裏面に振動溶着することで、前記第1部材と第2部材とを組み付けて構成される車両構成部材において、
前記第1部材は、前記溶着突起が間隔をあけて配置された配置領域と、前記配置領域に隣り合って、該配置領域に突設された溶着突起の配置間隔よりも広い範囲で該溶着突起が配置されていない空白領域とを有し、
前記第2部材の裏面に、前記配置領域に対向する第1領域から前記空白領域に対向する第2領域に亘って延在する溝部が形成されたことを要旨とする。
請求項1の発明によれば、第2部材の裏面に、第1部材の配置領域に対向する第1領域から該第1部材の空白領域に対向する第2領域に亘って溝部を設けることで、第2部材における溝部の形成部の曲げ強度を向上させることができる。これにより、第1部材に突設された溶着突起を第2部材の第1領域に振動溶着して両部材を接合して構成する車両内装部材において、該第2部材の表面に微妙なムラや歪み等が生じるのを防止して、該第2部材における該第1領域と第2領域との外観を均一にできる。また、第2部材の裏面に溝部を設けたので、該第2部材の表面にヒケが形成されることがない。
前記溝部は、前記溶着突起が当接する部分から外れた位置に形成されることを要旨とする。
請求項2の発明によれば、溶着突起が当接する部分から外れた位置に溝部が形成されていることで、溶着突起を第2部材に適切に接触した状態で該第2部材に振動溶着することができる。
複数の前記溝部が、互いに並行して形成されることを要旨とする。
請求項3の発明によれば、複数の溝部を並行して形成することで、広い範囲で第2部材の外観を均一にできる。
アウター部材34は、図1〜図3に示すように、左右方向に長手が延在する上板部36と、左右方向に長手が延在し、該上板部36の後端から前下方へ傾斜する下板部38とを備えており、前側が左右方向へ横長に開口すると共に内部に空間34aが画成されている。アウター部材34は、上板部36および下板部38のアウター部材34の外観形状を規定する表面34bおよび裏面34cが平滑に形成されている。上板部36および下板部38の肉厚が2.5〜3.5mmとなっている。下板部38の後端側における左右中央には、ストップランプ57(図1参照)が整合するランプ装着口40が設けられている。
インナー部材32は、図1〜図3に示すように、左右方向に長手が延在する上壁部50と、左右方向に長手が延在すると共に該上壁部50の後縁から下方へ延出する後壁部52とを備え、該後壁部52の下端部52cがアウター部材34の下板部38における裏面34cに対向するようになっている。上壁部50の所要位置には、下方へ凹んだ凹状部である設置凹部54が複数(実施例では6つ)設けられ、各設置凹部54には、自動車の車体後部に当該リアスポイラー30を固定する取付具55が配設される(図3参照)。また、インナー部材32における左右中央の後部に、ストップランプ57が設置されるランプ設置部56が設けられる共に、該インナー部材32の左右略中央に、ストップランプ57から導出する図示しないハーネス(図示せず)を収容するための収容部58等が上方に開口して形成されている。また、左右方向に延在する後壁部52は、左右方向へ所要間隔毎に前方へ突出した凸状部52aや、後方へ凹んで前方および上方へ開放した凹状部52bを有し、全体が凹凸形状をなしてインナー部材32の剛性が高められている。なお、インナー部材32は、上壁部50および後壁部52の全体の肉厚が、2.5〜3.5mmとなっている。
インナー部材32における突起配置部60の上面には、図1〜図4に示すように、複数の溶着突起62が、所要間隔(例えば0.5〜4.0mm)をあけて突設されている。各溶着突起62は、インナー部材32に一体成形されており、突起配置部60から所要高さで突出する断面円形の円柱状に形成されている。そして、溶着突起62の上端面は、アウター部材34の上板部36に溶着される溶着面64を構成している。
図1〜図5に示すように、アウター部材34における上板部36の裏面34cに、該裏面34cから凹んで線状に延在する溝部44が複数形成されている。実施例の各溝部44は、図6に示すように、該溝部44の延在方向と直交する方向における断面形状が「V」字形をなす直線のV溝となっている。これにより、各溝部44は、上板部36の裏面34cに連なる開口縁から当該溝部44の底部に亘り、該裏面34cの面方向と交差する向きに立ち上がった2つの立壁46,46を備えている。従って、アウター部材34の上板部36において溝部44の周辺部分は、該溝部44が形成されていない平坦な場合と比べて、溝部44の延在方向における断面係数が向上しており、溝部44の周辺部分は、該溝部44の延在方向での曲げ強度が高められている。例えば、上板部36において、左右方向へ延在して設けられた溝部44の周辺部分は、左右方向での曲げ強度が高められて、左右方向において変形し難くなっている。また、上板部36において、前後方向へ延在して設けられた溝部44の周辺部分は、前後方向での曲げ強度が高められ、前後方向において変形し難くなっている。
(1)溝部44の断面形状は、実施例に例示した「V」字形に限るものではなく、上板部36の裏面34cに連なる開口縁から当該溝部44の底部に亘り、該裏面34cの面方向と交差する向きに立ち上がった立壁46を備えたものであればよい。図7(a)に示す第1変更例に係る溝部44は、断面形状が台形状をなすものであり、上板部36の裏面34cに連なる開口縁から当該溝部44の底部に亘り、該裏面34cの面方向と交差する向きに立ち上がった2つの立壁46,46を備えていることで、上板部36の断面係数が向上して該上板部36の曲げ強度を高めることができる。図7(b)に示す第2変更例に係る溝部44は、断面形状が矩形状をなすものであり、上板部36の裏面34cに連なる開口縁から当該溝部44の底部に亘り、該裏面34aの面方向と交差する向きに立ち上がった2つの立壁46,46を備えていることで、上板部36の断面係数が向上して該上板部36の曲げ強度を高めることができる。図7(c)に示す第3変更例に係る溝部44は、断面形状が「U」字形状をなすものであり、上板部36の裏面34cに連なる開口縁から当該溝部44の底部に亘り、該裏面34cの面方向と交差する向きに立ち上がった2つの立壁46,46を備えていることで、上板部36の断面係数が向上して該上板部36の曲げ強度を高めることができる。
(2)実施例では、直線状に延在する溝部44を例示したが、該溝部44は、アウター部材32の裏面34cに沿って円弧状に湾曲して延在するものや、スプライン状またはジグザグ状に蛇行して延在するものであってもよい。
(3)実施例では、アウター部材34における上板部36の裏面36cにおいて、複数の溝部を互いに並行して延在するよう形成した形態を例示したが、各溝部は、並行せずに延在するよう形成したり、交差して延在するよう形成してもよい。また、上板部36の裏面36cの面方向における第1方向に延在する複数の溝部と、該第1方向と交差する第2方向に延在する複数の溝部とを、格子状に交差するよう形成してもよい。
(4)実施例では、車両構成部材としてリアスポイラーを例示したが、本願発明は、第1部材および第2部材を振動溶着により接合する全ての車両構成部材が対象とされる。

Claims (3)
- 第1部材に突設された溶着突起を、第2部材における該第1部材に対向する裏面に振動溶着することで、前記第1部材と第2部材とを組み付けて構成される車両構成部材において、
前記第1部材は、前記溶着突起が間隔をあけて配置された配置領域と、前記配置領域に隣り合って、該配置領域に突設された溶着突起の配置間隔よりも広い範囲で該溶着突起が配置されていない空白領域とを有し、
前記第2部材の裏面に、前記配置領域に対向する第1領域から前記空白領域に対向する第2領域に亘って延在する溝部が形成された
ことを特徴とする車両構成部材。 - 前記溝部は、前記溶着突起が当接する部分から外れた位置に形成される請求項1記載の車両構成部材。
- 複数の前記溝部が、互いに並行して形成される請求項1または2記載の車両構成部材。
