Claims (8)
- 金属製の工作物(2)の長手方向縁部を加工する方法であって、
工作物(2)の加工中、多条に、それぞれリード角(α)を有して形成された複数の切刃(z)を、作用長さ(l)にわたって所定の切込深さ(t)で回転軸線(O)に対して平行の姿勢で加工面(B)に係合させ、隣り合う刃の間の歯間隔(as)に一致する長さにわたる切屑の加工面(B)からの分離を、作用長さ(l)に沿った刃の移動と同時にそれぞれ行うことを特徴とする、金属製の工作物の長手方向縁部を加工する方法。 - 螺旋状の刃により形成される外周フライス(1)を備える、
請求項1記載の方法を実施する装置であって、
外周フライス(1)の刃の移動速度(Vz)は、外周フライス(1)及び/又は工作物(2)の送り速度(Lg)よりも低く設定されており、隣り合う刃の間の歯間隔に一致する長さの切屑(s)の分離は、作用長さ(l)に沿った刃の移動中に行われることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法を実施する装置。 - 螺旋状の刃により形成される外周フライス(1)を備える、
請求項1記載の方法を実施する装置であって、
刃の移動速度(Vz)は、外周フライス(1)及び/又は工作物(2)の送り速度(Lg)よりも高く設定されており、歯間隔に一致する長さの切屑の分離は、作用長さ(l)の、歯間隔(as)だけ延長された域に沿った切刃(z)の移動と同時に行われることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法を実施する装置。 - 螺旋状の刃(s)を備える外周フライス(1)は、刃(s)の作用長さ(l)の域で円筒形に形成されており、切刃(z)は、それぞれ一致する成形輪郭域で加工面(B)に接触する、請求項2又は3記載の装置。
- 外周フライス(1)は、円錐形の側面を有する、請求項2から4までのいずれか1項記載の装置。
- 外周フライス(1)の側面は、所定の長さ(k)にわたって所定の角度(β)を成して設計されている、請求項2から5までのいずれか1項記載の装置。
- 同一の作用長さ(l)及び歯間隔(as)を有し、それぞれ異なる直径(D1)及び(D2)を有して形成された少なくとも2つの外周フライス(3)及び(4)の結合により、同一の回転軸線(O)上に、1つの段付き工具が形成される、請求項2から5までのいずれか1項記載の装置。
- 作用長さ(l)に沿った刃の移動の経過時間と、歯間隔(a s )の域における切込移動の経過時間とが同一であるように、回転数に起因する刃の移動速度(V z )と、外周フライス(1)及び/又は工作物(2)の送り速度(L g )とを調整する、請求項2記載の装置。
