Description
このモータシリンダ装置16は、図2に示すように、電動モータ(電動機)72及び駆動力伝達部73を有するアクチュエータ機構74と、前記アクチュエータ機構74によって付勢されるシリンダ機構76とを備える。この場合、電動モータ72、駆動力伝達部73、及び、シリンダ機構76は、それぞれ分離可能に設けられる。
本実施形態では、第2スレーブピストン88aが最後方位置に変位してガイドピストン103と当接した初期位置となったとき(図4参照)、切欠部121に沿ってブレーキ液(ブレーキフルード)が進入し、切欠部121がブレーキ液で満たされた状態となる。この初期位置において、第2スレーブピストン88aがガイドピストン103から離間する方向に変位しようとする際、第2スレーブピストン88aとガイドピストン103との接触面に切欠部121を介してブレーキ液が介在し、第2スレーブピストン88aの拡径部117に対して力F(図7参照)が付与されることで、第2スレーブピストン88aとガイドピストン103との張り付きが回避され、第2スレーブピストン88aを迅速に変位させることができる。
図8(a)〜図8(c)は、本発明の他の実施形態に係る制動装置を示したものであり、図8(a)は、第2スレーブピストンとガイドピストンとの分解斜視図、図8(b)は、第2スレーブピストンの軸線と直交する方向の縦断面図、図8(c)は、図8(b)のB−B線に沿った縦断面図である。
図9は、さらに他の実施形態に係る制動装置を構成するシリンダ機構の軸方向に沿った縦断面図である。

Claims (3)
- ブレーキ操作子の操作によってブレーキ液圧を発生させるマスタシリンダと、
前記ブレーキ操作子の操作量に対応して駆動される電動機によってスレーブピストンを変位させてブレーキ液圧を発生させると共に、前記スレーブピストンを外部から挿入可能とする開口部が設けられたスレーブシリンダ本体を有するスレーブシリンダと、
前記スレーブシリンダ本体の開口部を閉塞すると共に、前記スレーブピストンの外周面を囲繞するガイドピストンと、
前記スレーブピストンに設けられ前記スレーブシリンダ本体の内壁に摺接してシールする第1のシール部材と、
前記ガイドピストンに設けられ前記スレーブシリンダ本体の内壁に当接してシールする第2のシール部材と、を備える制動装置において、
前記スレーブピストンは、前記スレーブピストンが初期位置にあるときに前記ガイドピストンの軸方向の面と接する拡径部を有し、
前記スレーブピストンの前記拡径部及び前記ガイドピストンの前記軸方向の面の少なくとも一方には、内径方向に延設された切欠部が設けられることを特徴とする制動装置。 - 前記スレーブシリンダの鉛直上方向には、リザーバが配置され、
前記切欠部は、前記リザーバを基点として少なくとも鉛直上方向に延在するように設けられることを特徴とする請求項1記載の制動装置。 - 前記スレーブシリンダの鉛直上方向には、リザーバが配置され、
前記切欠部は、前記リザーバを基点として前記スレーブピストンの軸線と直交する左右両側の少なくともいずれか一方に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の制動装置。
