Description
本願は同時係属する米国仮特許出願第61/439,767号(“Intraocular Accommodating Lens and Method of Use”、2011年2月4日出願)の優先権を主張する。前述の出願日の優先権はこれによって主張され、仮特許出願の開示は参照することにより文献全体が取り込まれる。
態様1:
形状変化する光学素子と、
前記光学素子につながった第1末端領域および毛様体組織に向かって伸びる第2末端領域を有し、前記毛様体組織の運動を前記光学素子に付与する力に機能的に伝達し、前記光学素子の調節および非調節の変化に影響をもたらす力転換素子と、
前記力転換素子の前記第2末端領域につながり、前記毛様体組織に接触するように構成される取り付け部分と、
を含む眼内レンズ。
態様2:
前記力転換素子を、移植中に適合するようにカスタマイズすることができる態様1に記載のレンズ。
態様3:
前記適合をカスタマイズするための機構が、滑り、捻り、旋削、切断、圧延、膨張、曲げおよび前記力転換素子へのエネルギーの印加より成る群から選択される、態様2に記載のレンズ。
態様4:
前記力転換素子が膨張可能な材料で被覆される態様1に記載のレンズ。
態様5:
前記光学素子、前記力転換素子および前記取り付け部分の少なくとも1つが、生物活性を有する薬剤で被覆される態様1に記載のレンズ。
態様6:
前記薬剤が、ヘパリン、ステロイドおよびラパマイシンより成る群から選択される態様5に記載のレンズ。
態様7:
前記力転換素子の前記第1末端領域が前記光学素子の赤道部につながっている、態様1に記載のレンズ。

前記光学素子の中央領域が前記光学素子の外側領域より低弾性率の材料を含む、態様37に記載のレンズ。

前記低弾性率の材料が隆起および屈折影響の変化を引き起こすことになる、態様38に記載のレンズ。
Claims (23)
- 眼内レンズであって、
形状変化する光学素子であって、前記光学素子の光軸を取り囲む中央部分を含み、前記光軸に向かって半径方向に内側に向けられた圧縮力が前記光学素子に印加される際に、光軸に沿って外側に反り、非調節形状と異なる調節形状を形成するように構成された、光学素子と、
前記光学素子につながった第1末端領域と、毛様体組織に向かって伸びる第2末端領域とを有し、毛様体筋が収縮している間、前記毛様体組織の運動を、前記光軸に向かって半径方向に内向きに向けられ、かつ前記光学素子に付与される前記圧縮力に機能的に伝達し、前記調節形状への前記光学素子の形状の変化に影響をもたらし、前記眼内レンズを眼内へ移植する間または移植した後に、前記力転換素子の長さを使用に適するようにカスタマイズするための機構を取り入れた力転換素子と、
前記力転換素子の前記第2末端領域につながり、前記毛様体筋が収縮している間、前記毛様体組織が運動する際に前記毛様体組織に接触するように構成される取り付け部分と、
眼内において前記光学素子を固定するように、前記光学素子につながり、かつ前記光学素子から外側に延在したハプティックと、
を含む、眼内レンズ。 - 適するようにカスタマイズするための機構が、滑り、捻り、旋削、切断、圧延、膨張、曲げおよび前記力転換素子へのエネルギーの印加より成る群から選択される、請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記力転換素子が膨張可能な材料で被覆される請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記光学素子、前記力転換素子および前記取り付け部分の少なくとも1つが、生物活性を有する薬剤で被覆される請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記薬剤が、ヘパリン、ステロイドおよびラパマイシンより成る群から選択される請求項4に記載のレンズ。
- 前記力転換素子の前記第1末端領域が前記光学素子の赤道部につながっている、請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記光学素子の赤道部近傍につながっている複数の力転換素子をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記取り付け部分が、前記毛様体組織に接し、かつ前記毛様体組織に侵入しないように構成されており、前記毛様体組織が、毛様体筋、毛様体、毛様体突起および毛様小帯より成る群から選択される、請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記取り付け部分が弾性材料で形成される請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記取り付け部分が1つ以上の棒を含む請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記1つ以上の棒が曲線状である請求項10に記載のレンズ。
- 前記取り付け部分が、前記毛様体組織に隣接する空間を埋める3次元要素を含む、請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記取り付け部分が充填可能な素子を含む請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記取り付け部分が、接着剤、ヒドロゲルまたは固定材料を含む請求項1に記載のレンズ。

- 前記力転換素子が前記光学素子の材料よりも概して硬い材料で形成される請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記光学素子の後方で、かつ眼内の水晶体嚢内に位置する第2レンズをさらに含み、前記第2レンズは眼内の水晶体または移植された眼内レンズを含む、請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記光学素子が眼内の水晶体嚢内に位置し、前記ハプティックが毛様体溝に位置する、請求項20に記載のレンズ。
- 前記力転換素子が前記ハプティックの領域につながっている請求項21に記載のレンズ。
- 前記毛様体に向かう所望の伸張が得られるまで、前記力転換素子が前記ハプティックの長さ方向に沿って移動するように構成されるように、前記力転換素子がつながっている、請求項22に記載のレンズ。
