Claims (3)
- 視軸、強靭な結合組織の強膜、環状の毛様溝、および毛様体が収縮した状態から弛緩して毛様体が弛緩した状態になるときに、前記視軸に沿って前方向にカプスラー・ダイアフラムに張りを与えるための括約筋様の毛様体を有する人間の目に移植するための調節型眼内レンズ(AIOL)であって、前記AIOLが前記人間の目の視軸と同方向に装備されることを意図された長手方向軸を有し、前記AIOLが、
(a)孔を画成する内部のリムを有する前面を備える環状の前方部材と、後面を備える後方部材と、前記AIOLの非圧縮状態で第1のジオプタ強度を有する非圧縮形状と前記AIOLの圧縮状態で前記第1のジオプタ強度と異なる第2のジオプタ強度を有する圧縮形状との間で弾力的に弾性変形可能な形状記憶の光学素子とを有する、中空の平坦な球面形状のハウジングであって、前記少なくとも1つの形状記憶の光学素子が前記孔を介して露出する中央部分を備える前面を有する、ハウジングと、
(b)環状のケーシングであって、前記非圧縮形状に対して前記ケーシング内に膨張するために、非圧縮形状から圧縮形状に前記形状記憶の光学素子を選択的に圧縮するために前記後方部材に対して往復するように前記ハウジングに装着され、前記AIOLが、遠方視に対する最小のジオプタ強度から近方視に対する最大のジオプタ強度に連続的に可変のジオプタ強度を有する、環状のケーシングとを備える、調節型眼内レンズ。 - 前記ケーシングが、前端部および前記内部のリムを受けるための溝を備えて形成される後端部を有し、それによって前記ケーシングが前記後方部材に対して往復する、請求項1に記載のAIOL。
- 前記ハウジングが少なくとも6mmの直径を有し、前記ケーシングが前記長手方向軸に垂直な平面で少なくとも4mmの直径を有する、請求項1または2に記載のAIOL。
