Claims (17)
- 視軸と、強靭な連結組織からなる強膜(12)と、環状の毛様溝(28)と、毛様体収縮状態から毛様体弛緩状態へと括約筋状毛様体が弛緩する際に前記視軸に沿って前方に嚢隔膜(29)を引っ張る括約筋状毛様体(19)とを有するヒトの眼内に移植するための、調節式眼内レンズ(AIOL)カプセル(200)であって、
前記AIOLカプセルは、剛性眼内レンズ支持部システム(300)と共に使用するためのものであり、前記剛性眼内レンズ支持部システムは、長手方向軸(301)および眼内レンズ支持部本体(302)を有し、前記眼内レンズ支持部本体は、前記ヒトの眼の視軸に対して垂直な面内において前記眼内レンズ支持部本体から反対方向に延在する少なくとも2つの細長い概してC字型の眼内レンズ支持部(307)を有し、各眼内レンズ支持部は、装着プレート(308)において終端し、前記装着プレートは、前記ヒトの眼内に前記AIOLを保持するために、前記ヒトの眼の環状の毛様溝内における少なくとも2つの離間された定常固定点での自己固定移植のために前記ヒトの眼の強膜の前記強靭な連結組織を穿刺するための少なくとも1つの尖った穿刺部材(309)を有し、
前記眼内レンズ支持部はそれぞれ、前記少なくとも2つの離間された定常固定点に対する前記ヒトの眼の視軸に沿った前記AIOLの移植後の原位置での選択的軸方向移動を可能にするための外部エネルギー源による局所的加熱に際して変形可能な前記眼内レンズ支持部本体に隣接する垂直方向調節機構(320)を備え、
前記AIOLカプセル(200)は、前記ヒトの眼内への移植の際に前記ヒトの眼の視軸と同軸になるように意図された長手方向軸(201)を有し、カプセルハウジング(202)を備え、前記カプセルハウジングは、透明な前方カプセルプレート(207)と、前記前方カプセルプレートに平行であり、かつ対向する透明な後方カプセルプレート(208)と、前記前方カプセルプレートと前記後方カプセルプレートとの間に延在し、前記前方カプセルプレートに連結された前縁(209A)および前記後方カプセルプレートに連結された後縁(209B)を有するカプセルリング(209)とを備え、
前記前方カプセルプレート、前記後方カプセルプレート、および前記カプセルリングは、透明カプセル充填材で充填された密閉空洞部(211)を画成し、
前記前方カプセルプレート(207)は、露出される前面(207A)を有し、前記後方カプセルプレート(208)は、露出される後面(208B)を有し、
前記後面(208B)は、後方から前記後面に対して軸方向圧縮力が加えられる場合、および後方からの前記後面に対する軸方向圧縮力がない場合に、前記カプセルリングに対して反復的に前後への撓曲を受けることが可能であり、
前記前面(207A)は、前記軸方向圧縮力が加えられる場合に前記ヒトの眼の視軸に沿って前方に膨出し、前記圧縮力がない場合には非撓曲位置に復帰し、
それにより、前記AIOLカプセルは、非圧縮状態における第1のジオプトリ強度と、前記軸方向圧縮力が加えられる場合の圧縮状態における、前記第1のジオプトリ強度とは異なる第2のジオプトリ強度との間の範囲における、連続的に変化し得るジオプトリ強度を有する、調節式眼内レンズ(AIOL)カプセル。 - 前記カプセルハウジング(202)は、モノリシックなボウル状カプセルシェル(212)を備え、前記ボウル状カプセルシェルは、前記空洞部(211)を画成する前記前方カプセルプレート(207)および前記カプセルリング(209)と、前記空洞部をシールするために前記ボウル状カプセルシェル上に後ろ側に取り付けるための前記後方カプセルプレート(208)とから形成される、請求項1に記載のAIOLカプセル。
- 前記カプセルハウジング(231)は、前記前方カプセルプレートに隣接する丸い前縁(232A)を有する密閉空洞部(232)を画成するための丸みを付けられた前方内部表面(231A)を備える、請求項1または2のいずれかに記載のAIOLカプセル。
- 前記カプセルハウジング(236)は、前記AIOLカプセルの長手方向軸に沿って前方に収束する円錐部分形状を有する密閉空洞部(237)を画成するための角度を付けられた前方内部表面(236A)を備える、請求項1または2のいずれかに記載のAIOLカプセル。
- 前記カプセルハウジング(242)は、前記AIOLカプセルの長手方向軸に沿って後方に収束する円錐部分形状を有する密閉空洞部(241)を画成するための、前記前方カプセルプレート(207)と前記カプセルリング(209)との間の接合部から後方に延在する収束管状壁部(243)を備える、請求項1または2のいずれかに記載のAIOLカプセル。
- 前記収束管状壁部は、前記AIOLカプセルの長手方向軸に沿って後方に前記カプセルリングの後縁(209B)を越えて突出する後縁(244)を有する、請求項5に記載のAIOLカプセル。
- 前記後方カプセルプレートは、後面(217B)を有する中央カプセル充填材移動部材(217)と、後面(218B)を有する周囲環状フランジ(218)とを備え、前記カプセル充填材移動部材の後面は、前記AIOLカプセルの長手方向軸に沿って、前記環状フランジの後面に対して後方に突出し、それにより、前記後方カプセルプレートは、段状の後面を有する、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のAIOLカプセル。
- 前記カプセル充填材移動部材は、平坦な後面(217B)を有する、請求項7に記載のAIOLカプセル。
- 前記後方カプセルプレート(208)は、凸状後面を有する、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のAIOLカプセル。
- 前記後方カプセルプレート(208)は、前記前方膨出を補助するための凸状前方表面を有する、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載のAIOLカプセル。
- 請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の調節式眼内レンズ(AIOL)カプセル(200)及び前記剛性眼内レンズ支持部システム(300)を備えるAIOLアセンブリ(100)であって、前記垂直方向調節機構は、眼内レンズ支持部(307)上に取り付けられ、ヒトの眼内への前記眼内レンズ支持部システムの移植時に前方に向く横材(323)を有する、生体適合性エネルギー吸収性U字型クリップ(322)を備える、眼内レンズ支持部システム。
- 前記U字型クリップ(322)は、有色エネルギー吸収性カバーを備える、請求項11に記載のAIOLアセンブリ。
- 前記装着プレート(308)は、一対の並置された操作穴(312)を備える、請求項11に記載のAIOLアセンブリ。
- 請求項1から10のいずれか1項に記載の調節式願内レンズ(AIOL)カプセル(200)及び別個のベース部材(400)を備えるAIOLアセンブリ(100)であって、前記ベース部材は、ヒトの眼内への移植の際に前記AIOLカプセルの長手方向軸(201)と同軸に位置合わせされる長手方向軸(401)を有し、反対側にある主要前方表面および主要後方表面(403、404)を有する細長い実質的に平坦な本体(402)と、前記ヒトの眼の毛様溝内の実質的に反対の位置への操作のための反対側にある前端部および後端部(406、407)とを備え、
前記本体は、平面視において概してH字型の形状を有し、前方作用表面および後方作用表面(411、412)を有する中央ピストン部材(409)と、前記本体からラジアル方向に延在し末端部を有する対向する対の離間された側方翼部(413、414)とを備え、前記側方翼部の一方の対が、前記前端部を形成し、前記側方翼部の他方の対が、前記後端部を形成し、
前記前方作用表面は、前記ヒトの眼の嚢隔膜が引っ張られて後方から軸方向圧縮力を加える際に、前記カプセルハウジングの後面に対して付勢される、AIOLアセンブリ。 - 前記本体(402)は、前記カプセル充填材移動部材の平坦な後面を受容するための、前記ベース部材の長手方向軸(401)上に中央に位置決めされた、概して円形のくぼみ部を備える、請求項8に記載のAIOLカプセル(200)を備えた請求項14に記載のAIOLアセンブリ(100)。
- 請求項9に記載の調節式願内レンズ(AIOL)カプセル(200)及び別個のワッシャ状のベース部材(430)を備えるAIOLアセンブリ(100)であって、前記ベース部材は、ヒトの眼内への移植の際に前記AIOLカプセルの長手方向軸(201)と同軸に位置合わせされる長手方向軸(401)を有し、反対側にある主要前方表面および主要後方表面を有する細長い実質的に平坦な本体と、対向する前端部および後端部とを備え、
