その後、度数変化レンズを、前記患者の眼の水晶体嚢の前記主レンズ構築体の前側に挿入及び位置決めするステップであって、前記度数変化レンズが、密閉されている液体又はゲル充填レンズ空洞、及び前記レンズ空洞の周囲に配置されたハプティックシステムを含み、前記ハプティックシステムが、前記水晶体嚢と接触するように構成された周縁係合端部を有する、該ステップと、を含み、
前記主レンズ構築体が、前記水晶体嚢の後側部分と接触し、
前記度数変化レンズが、前記水晶体嚢の前側部分に接触し、
前記固定レンズ及び前記レンズ空洞が、光軸の中心に配置されている方法。 - 前記切開部が、5mm未満、好ましくは4mm未満である、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 前記挿入ステップが両方とも、切開部から実施される、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記度数変化レンズの前記挿入及び位置決め前に、粘弾性材料を注入することを更に含む、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 前記主レンズ構築体が、前記挿入及び位置決め後に前記水晶体嚢の直径の近似を提供するサイジングデバイスを含み、前記方法が、前記挿入及び位置決め後に前記水晶体嚢の直径を決定することを更に含む、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 前記サイジングデバイスが、1つ又は複数の半径方向突出部である、請求項29に記載の2部分IOLデバイス。
