Description
Claims (8)
- 粉末金属部品を製造する方法が、
噴霧アルミニウム粉末、アルミニウム/銅母合金粉末、及び、噴霧マグネシウム粉末から成る群から選択された粉末を混合して粉末金属混合体を形成し、その組成が、3.0〜5.0重量%の銅、1.0〜2.0重量%のマグネシウム、0〜1.2重量%(0を含まない)の錫、0.2重量%以下のクロム、0.3重量%以下の鉄、1.0重量%以下のマンガン、0.15重量%以下のシリコン、0.15重量%以下のチタン、0.3重量%以下の亜鉛、2.5重量%以下のニッケル、不可避不純物が合計で0.2重量%以下、
残りがアルミニウムとされ、
前記粉末金属混合体を成形型に充填し、
前記成形型内の前記粉末金属混合体を成形してグリーン成形体とし、
グリーン成形体を焼結して、金属間化合物CuMgAl2のS相が形成される
ことを特徴とする粉末金属部品の製造方法。 - 前記粉末金属部品を冷間加工する工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の粉末金属部品の製造方法。
- 前記粉末金属部品が、エンジンのカム軸受のカムキャップであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の粉末金属部品の製造方法。
- 前記粉末金属混合体が、0〜0.2重量%(0を含まない)の錫を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1記載の粉末金属部品の製造方法。
- 前記粉末金属部品の硬度が、70HREを越えていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の粉末金属部品の製造方法。
- 前記粉末金属部品の焼結密度が、2.6g/cm3を越えていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の粉末金属部品の製造方法。
- 前記噴霧アルミニウム粉末が、空気噴霧粉末であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の粉末金属部品の製造方法。
- 前記アルミニウム/銅母合金粉末が、50重量%のアルミニウムと50重量%の銅である、ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の粉末金属部品の製造方法。
