Description
原料として、斜方晶の五酸化ニオブ(Nb2O5)とリン酸二水素アンモニウム(NH4H2PO4)をモル比率で81.8:18.2になるように秤量し、容量が500mlのポリエチレン製の容器に封入して、容器を150rpmの回転数で16時間回転させることにより、原料の混合粉末を作製した。
X線回折装置(XRD)を用いて4.0°/分のスキャン速度、10°〜60°の測角範囲の条件で、上記で得られた負極活物質のX線回折パターンを測定した。測定された負極活物質粉末のX線回折パターンを図2に示す。図2には、5価金属の一部がリンで置換された酸化物であるP0.2Nb1.8O5のJCPDS(Joint Committee on Powder Diffraction Standards)カード(カード番号:16‐0838)のX線回折パターンと、斜方晶のNb2O5のJCPDSカード(カード番号:30‐0873)のX線回折パターンを合わせて示す。
バインダとしてのポリビニルアルコールをトルエンとエタノールの混合溶媒に溶解させて、バインダ溶液を作製した。このバインダ溶液と、上記で得られた実施例の負極活物質としての斜方晶の五酸化ニオブ(Nb2O5)(ニオブの一部がリンで置換されたもの)、比較例の負極活物質としての単斜晶の五酸化ニオブ(Nb2O5)とを混合することにより、実施例と比較例の負極活物質スラリーを作製した。負極活物質とポリビニルアルコールの調合比は重量部で70:30とした。
実施例と比較例の負極シートを酸素ガス雰囲気中で500℃の温度で2時間焼成することにより、ポリビニルアルコールの除去を行った後、窒素ガス雰囲気中で600℃の温度で2時間焼成することにより、焼成体としての実施例と比較例の負極シートを作製した。
直径が12mmの円形状にカットされた固体電解質シートの片面上に、直径が12mmの円形状にカットされた実施例と比較例の負極シートのそれぞれを積層して、80℃の温度で1トンの圧力を加えて熱圧着することにより、成形体としての実施例と比較例の負極−電解質積層体を作製した。
得られた実施例と比較例の全固体電池の特性を以下のようにして評価した。

- 正極層または負極層の少なくともいずれか一方の電極層と、
前記電極層に積層された固体電解質層と、を備え、
前記固体電解質層がリチウム含有リン酸化合物を含み、前記電極層が電極活物質として5価金属含有酸化物を含み、前記5価金属含有酸化物において5価金属の一部がリンで置換されており、
前記5価金属含有酸化物が、M 2−x P x O 5 (化学式中、MはNbおよびVからなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1種の元素を含み、xは0<x≦1.33の範囲内の数値である)で表される酸化物である、全固体電池。 - 前記5価金属が、ニオブおよびバナジウムからなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1種の金属である、請求項1に記載の全固体電池。
- 前記xは0.11≦x≦1.00の範囲内の数値である、請求項1に記載の全固体電池。
- 前記xは0.11≦x≦0.20の範囲内の数値である、請求項1に記載の全固体電池。
- 前記電極層がリチウム含有リン酸化合物を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の全固体電池。
