Description
Claims (5)
- 炭化水素リザーバ(12)から内燃機関(1)へのパージ管路(17)におけるガス流(31)中の炭化水素含有量(B)を測定するためのセンサ(16)であって、
炭化水素リザーバ(12)が、活性炭素が充填されたリザーバとして形成されており、
センサ(16)が少なくとも1つの超音波源(33,34)と少なくとも1つの超音波受信機(33,34)とを有しており、
超音波源(33,34)からガス流(31)を通って超音波受信機(33,34)へと送られる超音波パルスの伝搬時間(tau1,tau2)を、ガス流(31)中の炭化水素含有量(B)のための尺度として評価し、
前記超音波源(33)としての第1の超音波送信機(33)から前記超音波受信機(34)としての第2の超音波受信機(34)への伝搬時間(tau1)と、前記超音波源(34)としての第2の超音波送信機(34)から前記超音波受信機(33)としての第1の超音波受信機(33)への伝搬時間(tau2)との間の伝搬時間の差(DtauP)及び和(StauP)を算出し、
前記伝搬時間(tau1,tau2)の差(DtauP)と和(StauP)から、特性マップを利用して、前記パージ管路(17)における前記ガス流(31)の前記炭化水素含有量(B)を算出することを特徴とする、パージ管路(17)におけるガス流(31)中の炭化水素含有量(B)を測定するためのセンサ。 - 超音波源(33,34)が同時に超音波受信機(33,34)として形成されている、請求項1記載の炭化水素含有量(B)を測定するためのセンサ。
- 伝搬時間(tau1,tau2)の差(DtauP)と和(StauP)から、パージ管路(17)における炭化水素の質量流を算出する、請求項1又は2記載の炭化水素含有量(B)を測定するためのセンサ。
- 伝搬時間(tau1,tau2)の差(DtauP)と和(StauP)から、パージ管路(17)における炭化水素の容積流を算出する、請求項1又は2記載の炭化水素含有量(B)を測定するためのセンサ。
- 伝搬時間(tau1,tau2)の差(DtauP)と和(StauP)から、パージ管路(17)における炭化水素の粒子流を算出する、請求項1又は2記載の炭化水素含有量(B)を測定するためのセンサ。
