Claims (19)

前記溝構造を円筒状の基材表面(60)に加工成形し、この加工成形の際に、溝横断面を徐々に最終寸法となるように加工し、この際、
まず工具の歯(54−1,54−2,54−3)を用いて、完成状態の溝の溝基部幅(B)よりも小さい溝基部幅(B54−2)を有した、溝基部と2つの溝側面を有したベース溝(52B)を基材表面(60)に加工成形し、

- 溝予備加工歯(54−2)と、少なくとも1つの鳩尾形の歯として形成された成形歯(54−4)との間に、別の溝予備加工歯(54−3)が形成されていて、別の溝予備加工歯(54−3)が、成形歯(54−4)の突出寸法(V54−4)とほぼ同じ突出寸法(V54−3)を有しており、溝予備加工歯(54−2,54−3)の側方の間隔(S)と少なくとも1つの成形歯(54−4)の側方の間隔(S)とが同じ大きさである、請求項8記載の工具。
- 隣接する複数の成形歯(54−4〜54−7)が設けられており、これらの成形歯により、形成すべき、鳩尾形の溝(52)の各側面(52−1,52−2)を加工することができる、請求項8又は9記載の工具。
- 鳩尾形の歯として形成された前記少なくとも1つの成形歯(54−4〜54−7)に、前記安全歯(54−1)とは反対の側で隣接して、基材から材料を押しのける押しのけ歯(54−10)が形成されており、該押しのけ歯が、所定の長さ(B54−10)にわたって、前記安全歯(54−1)と同じ突出寸法(V54−10)を有しており、中央区分に、丸く面取りされた突出部(58)を有している、請求項8から10までのいずれか1項記載の工具。
- 突出部(58)と、この突出部(58)に隣接する歯(54−9)の側方の間隔(A)が、その他の歯の側方の間隔(S)とは互いに異なっている、請求項11記載の工具。
- 前記安全歯(54−1)が、少なくとも1つの溝予備加工歯(54−2,54−3)若しくは少なくとも1つの成形歯(54−4)の幅(B54−2,B54−3)の数倍に相当する幅を有している、請求項8から12までのいずれか1項記載の工具。
- 前記溝予備加工歯及び成形歯(54−2〜54−7)が冗長的に構成されており、これにより、工具が摩耗した場合も、同様の溝形状が保証されている、請求項8から13までのいずれか1項記載の工具。
- 成形歯(54−1〜54−10)が、耐摩耗性の材料である鋼又は硬質材料から成っている、請求項8から14までのいずれか1項記載の工具。
- 成形歯が、前記切削チップ(34)の前記側方縁部(38)の領域に設けられた切欠内に堅固に装着される刃インサート部分(40)に形成されていて、刃インサート部分が、角柱状若しくは直方体状のブロックの形を有しており、複合材から形成されていて、この複合材においては、硬質材料チップ(48)が、支持体(46)上に装着されていて、成形歯(54−1〜54−10)は、両材料の分離接合部(50)を越えて延びている、請求項15記載の工具。
- 前記刃インサート部分(40)が形状接続的に、スローアウェイチップとして形成された切削チップ(34)に固定されている、請求項16記載の工具。
- 切削チップ(34)が工具カセット(22)によって支持されており、前記工具カセットは工具(12)に、前記刃インサート部分(40)が、加工すべき円筒表面(60)の軸線に対してほぼ平行に配向可能であるように調節可能に装着されている、請求項17記載の工具。
- 請求項8から18までのいずれか1項記載の回転駆動可能な工具及び/又は回転駆動可能なワークを使用して、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の方法を実行するための装置において、工具支持体が設けられており、該工具支持体は、少なくとも2つの運動自由度を有しており、一方の運動自由度は、工具(12)及び/又はワークの回転軸線に対して平行な工具(12)及び/又はワークの送り方向であって、他方の運動自由度は、これに対して角度を成して延びる調節方向であって、送りは、工具(12)とワークとの間の相対回転数に合わせて調節可能であることを特徴とする、所定の形状の表面構造を有した表面を形成する方法を実行するための装置。
