Description
「ファインセラミックスの水銀圧入法による成形体気孔径分布試験方法」に準拠して評価される。
」に準拠して評価できる。
原料として、住友化学(株)製水硬性アルミナ粉末(品名 水硬性アルミナBK−112)と、高純度化学(株)製酸化マグネシウム粉末(品名 MG011PB)とを準備し、アルミナ1molに対して、酸化マグネシウムが0.8181molの比になるように秤量した。
比較例として、アルミナ源を水硬性アルミナの代わりにθ−アルミナ(大明化学工業株式会社製、品名 TM−100)を用いて、CIP成形にて成形、焼成した。これを比較例1とする。また、水硬性アルミナのみを用いて成形体を作製し、これを比較例2とする。なお、比較例1,2ともに、これ以外の製造条件、評価方法は、実施例1に準ずる。
表3に示す内容で、各種条件の焼成体を作製した。なお、表2以外の製造条件は、実験1に準拠した。ここで、試料番号は、各原料の配合比と焼成条件の組み合わせで、例えば、1−C、と付される。なお、実施例1は、表3では、3−Dに該当する。
Claims (5)
- MgAl 2 O 4 であるスピネル質セラミックスからなる基材部と、前記基材部内に存在する気孔部からなる多孔体セラミックスであって、前記気孔部は10nmから365nmの範囲と365nmより大きい範囲にそれぞれ少なくとも一つの気孔径分布のピークを持ち、気孔率が40体積%以上95体積%以下であることを特徴とする多孔体セラミックス。
- 前記気孔部の10nmから365nmの範囲のピークは、セラミックス粒子の内部に存在する気孔であり、365nmより大きい範囲のピークは、前記セラミックス粒子間の空隙によるものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多孔体セラミックス。
- 前記気孔部の10nmから365nmの範囲のピークは、365nmより大きい範囲のピークよりも低いことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の多孔体セラミックス。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の多孔体セラミックスの製造方法であって、水硬性アルミナとスピネル生成原料とを水を用いて混合して成形後、1400度以上1700度以下の温度で焼成し、前記スピネル生成原料がマグネシウムを含み、アルミナ換算で1molの前記水硬性アルミナに対して、マグネシウムのマグネシア換算で0.66以上1以下のモル比で混合されることを特徴とする多孔体セラミックスの製造方法。
- 前記スピネル生成原料が酸化マグネシウムまたは炭酸マグネシウムである、請求項4に記載の多孔体セラミックスの製造方法。
