Description
(1)アクリル化合物由来の骨格を導入したフェノール類を用いて、得られたフェノール樹脂が、柔軟性を有する。
(2)フェノール樹脂がレゾール型フェノール樹脂の場合、アクリル化合物として、アクリルアミド系化合物を選ぶと、硬化物の耐熱性、機械強度が向上する。
(c)/[(a)+(b)]=5/100〜300/100
(a)/(b)=1/99〜10/90
となる割合であることが、靭性、耐熱性に優れる点から好ましい。
アルデヒド類のモル数(c)とした場合に、
(c)/(b)=5/100〜300/100
(a’)/(b)=2/100〜50/100
となる割合であることが、靭性、耐熱性に優れる点から好ましい。
[13C−NMR測定条件]
装置 :日本電子(株)製 AL−400
溶媒 :アセトン−d6
攪拌機、コンデンサー、温度計を備えた4つ口2リットルフラスコに、フェノール315.9g、アクリルアミド253g及び水188gを加え攪拌を開始した。触媒として48%水酸化ナトリウム水溶液15.8gを加え、110℃で10時間反応させた後、アクリルアミド変性フェノール溶液(1)を得た。
攪拌機、コンデンサー、温度計を備えた4つ口2リットルフラスコに、フェノール315.9g及び40%ホルムアルデヒド水溶液364gを加え攪拌を開始した。触媒として48%水酸化ナトリウム水溶液15.8gを加え、80℃で1時間反応させた後、上記変性フェノール溶液(1)を79.0g加え、さらに5時間反応させる。減圧脱水を行い、脱水後メタノールを加え、不揮発分65%に調整し、レゾール型フェノール樹脂溶液(3)を得た。得られた樹脂を100℃ 1時間、150℃ 1時間、200℃ 1時間の条件で硬化させ、TG/DTA(熱重量分析)を測定した。樹脂を濃度40%にメタノールで希釈し、濾紙(東洋濾紙No.65)に樹脂固形分60%/濾紙重量40%になるように含浸し、室温で12時間放置した後、180℃ 30分の条件で硬化させ、常態、150℃、200℃の曲げ強度を測定した。
攪拌機、コンデンサー、温度計を備えた4つ口2リットルフラスコに、フェノール315.9g及び40%ホルムアルデヒド水溶液364gを加え攪拌を開始した。触媒として48%水酸化ナトリウム水溶液15.8gを加え、80℃で6時間反応させた後、減圧脱水を行い、脱水後メタノールを加え、不揮発分65%に調整し、レゾール型フェノール樹脂溶液(4)を得た。得られた樹脂を100℃ 1時間、150℃ 1時間、200℃ 1時間の条件で硬化させ、TG/DTA(熱重量分析)を測定した。樹脂を濃度40%にメタノールで希釈し、濾紙(東洋濾紙No.65)に樹脂固形分60%/濾紙重量40%になるように含浸し、室温で12時間放置した後、180℃ 30分の条件で硬化させ、常態、100℃、150℃の曲げ強度、引っ張り強度を測定した。
レゾール型フェノール樹脂溶液(4)100重量部に対して、ビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂10重量部、メタノール10重量部を添加、溶解し、エポキシ変性レゾール樹脂溶液(5)を得た。
下記表2に示した各成分から構成される抄紙基材と、樹脂固形分とを(前者/後者)の質量比率が70/30と成るように樹脂溶液(2)〜(5)をディッピング法にて含浸、常温乾燥し、200℃で15分間の硬化により摩擦材を得た。得られた摩擦材を300℃×2時間暴露させた後、常温引張強度を測定し、暴露前後での強度低下率により耐熱性を評価した。
また、金属鋼板に240℃×10分プレス接着させ、摩擦材の剪断強度を測定した。
結果を表3に示す。
Claims (6)
- α,β−不飽和ケトン化合物とフェノール類とを反応させて得られる変性フェノールとフェノール類とアルデヒド化合物とを反応させるレゾール型フェノール樹脂の製造方法であり、α,β−不飽和ケトン化合物が(メタ)アクリル酸アミド類であることを特徴とするレゾール型フェノール樹脂の製造方法。
- α,β−不飽和ケトン化合物とフェノール類とを反応させて得られる変性フェノールとフェノール類とアルデヒド化合物を反応する際に、塩基性触媒を用いる請求項1記載のレゾール型フェノール樹脂の製造方法。
- α,β−不飽和ケトン化合物が、アクリルアミドである請求項1記載のレゾール型フェノール樹脂の製造方法。
- レゾール型フェノール樹脂であって、該レゾール型フェノール樹脂構造中に、フェノール性水酸基とα,β−不飽和ケトン化合物とを反応させた構造を有し、該α,β−不飽和ケトン化合物が、アクリルアミド、N−メチロールアクリルアマイド、N−メトキシメチルアクリルアマイド、N−エトキシメチルアクリルアマイド、N−n−ブトキシメチルアクリルアマイド、ジメチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリレート、ジエチルアミノエチルアクリレート、ジメチルアミノエチルアクリルアミド、ジエチルアミノエチルアクリルアミド、メタクリルアミド、N−メチロールメタクリルアマイド、N−メトキシメチルメタクリルアマイド、N−エトキシメチルメタクリルアマイド、N−n−ブトキシメチルメタクリルアマイド、ジメチルアミノエチルメタクリレート、ジエチルアミノエチルメタクリレート、ジメチルアミノエチルメタクリルアミド、ジエチルアミノエチルメタクリルアミドであることを特徴とするレゾール型フェノール樹脂。
- α,β−不飽和ケトン化合物とフェノール類とを反応させて得られる変性フェノールとフェノール類とアルデヒド化合物とを反応させて得られる構造を有し、該α,β−不飽和ケトン化合物が、アクリルアミド、N−メチロールアクリルアマイド、N−メトキシメチルアクリルアマイド、N−エトキシメチルアクリルアマイド、N−n−ブトキシメチルアクリルアマイド、ジメチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリレート、ジエチルアミノエチルアクリレート、ジメチルアミノエチルアクリルアミド、ジエチルアミノエチルアクリルアミド、メタクリルアミド、N−メチロールメタクリルアマイド、N−メトキシメチルメタクリルアマイド、N−エトキシメチルメタクリルアマイド、N−n−ブトキシメチルメタクリルアマイド、ジメチルアミノエチルメタクリレート、ジエチルアミノエチルメタクリレート、ジメチルアミノエチルメタクリルアミド、ジエチルアミノエチルメタクリルアミドであることを特徴とするレゾール型フェノール樹脂。
- 請求項4〜5のいずれかに記載のレゾール型フェノール樹脂を有機溶剤に溶解させた有機溶剤溶液を繊維基材に繊維状基材に含浸させ、硬化してなることを特徴とする摩擦材。
