Description
(1)投影面積円相当径の平均が40〜80nmの範囲にある。
(2)細孔径10〜20nmの細孔の累積細孔容積が5×10-2〜15×10-2cm3/gの範囲にある。
(3)細孔径10nm未満の細孔の累積細孔容積が4×10-2cm3/g以下である。
(4)アスペクト比の平均が2以下である。
(5)炭酸バリウムの微粉末である。
(6)炭酸ストロンチウムの微粉末である。
(7)表面に、ポリカルボン酸もしくはその無水物またはその塩からなるポリマーが付着している。
(8)測定対象の粉末0.5gを濃度0.2質量%のヘキサメタリン酸ナトリウム水溶液50mLに投入し、次いで出力55Wの超音波バスで6分間分散処理することにより調製した懸濁液に含まれる粒子のレーザー回折散乱法によって測定された体積基準の粒度分布から求められる体積基準の平均粒子径が500nm以下であって、粒子径が1000nm以上の粒子の含有率が5体積%以下である。
アルカリ土類金属炭酸塩粒子の粉砕に用いるアルカリ土類金属炭酸塩懸濁液は、アルカリ土類金属炭酸塩粒子が水性媒体に、全体量に対する固形分量として10〜40質量%の範囲となる量にて分散されていることが好ましい。アルカリ土類金属炭酸塩懸濁液の固形分量が低くなりすぎると得られるアルカリ土類金属炭酸塩微粉末の高分散性が低下する傾向にある。一方、固形分量が高くなりすぎると懸濁液の粘度が上昇し、アルカリ土類金属炭酸塩粒子の粉砕が困難となる傾向にある。
内容積5Lのテフロン製反応容器に、イオン交換水4200gと水酸化ストロンチウム・八水和物(カルシウム含有量:0.001質量%以下、バリウム含有量:0.001質量%以下、硫黄含有量:0.001質量%以下)450gを投入して、水酸化ストロンチウム濃度4.43質量%の水酸化ストロンチウム懸濁液を調製した。反応容器を温浴して、懸濁液の液温を40℃に調節した後、撹拌機にて懸濁液を撹拌しながら、空気と二酸化炭素ガスとの混合ガスを、空気5L/分、二酸化炭素ガス5L/分(懸濁液中の水酸化ストロンチウム1gに対して、空気約24mL/分、二酸化炭素ガス約24mL/分)となる流量にて導入して水酸化ストロンチウムを炭酸化させて炭酸ストロンチウム粒子を生成させた。炭酸化中は、懸濁液のpHの測定を行ない、懸濁液のpHが7を下回った時点で二酸化炭素ガスの導入を停止した。
Quantachrome(株)製、全自動ガス吸着量測定装置(Autosorb−3B)を用いて、窒素ガス吸着法により、脱離等温線を測定し、その脱離等温線のデータからBJH法により累積細孔容積の分布を求める。なお、等温吸着線の測定に際しては、測定対象粉末の量を0.2〜0.3gとし、前処理として真空ポンプで脱気しながら200℃で1時間乾燥する。
測定対象粉末0.5gと濃度0.2質量%のヘキサメタリン酸ナトリウム水溶液50mLとを、容量100mLのガラス製ビーカに投入し、出力55Wの超音波バス(アズワン(株)製、US−1A)を用いて、6分間分散処理を行なって炭酸ストロンチウム懸濁液を調製する。次いで該炭酸ストロンチウム懸濁液に含まれる炭酸ストロンチウム粒子の体積基準の粒度分布を、レーザー回折散乱法粒度分布計(Microtrac HRA、日機装(株)製)を用いて測定する。
内容積5Lのテフロン製反応容器に、イオン交換水4200gと水酸化ストロンチウム・八水和物(カルシウム含有量:0.001質量%以下、バリウム含有量0.001質量%以下、硫黄含有量:0.001質量%以下)500gを投入して、水酸化ストロンチウム濃度4.87質量%の水酸化ストロンチウム懸濁液を調製した。該水酸化ストロンチウム懸濁液にクエン酸・一水和物1.3gを添加して室温にて撹拌機で10分間撹拌して溶解した後、撹拌しながら二酸化炭素ガスを5L/分(懸濁液中の水酸化ストロンチウム1gに対して約22mL/分)となる流量にて導入して、水酸化ストロンチウムを炭酸化させて炭酸ストロンチウム粒子を生成させた。炭酸化中は、懸濁液のpHの測定を行ない、懸濁液のpHが7を下回った時点で二酸化炭素ガスの導入を停止した。
内容積5Lのテフロン(ポリテトラフルオロエチレン)製反応容器に、イオン交換水4200gと水酸化ストロンチウム・八水和物(カルシウム含有量:0.001質量%以下、バリウム含有量:0.001質量%以下、硫黄含有量:0.001質量%以下)500gを投入して、水酸化ストロンチウム濃度4.87質量%の水酸化ストロンチウム懸濁液を調製した。反応容器を温浴して、懸濁液の液温を50℃に調節した後、撹拌機にて懸濁液を撹拌しながら、二酸化炭素ガスを5L/分(懸濁液中の水酸化ストロンチウム1gに対して約22mL/分)となる流量にて導入して、水酸化ストロンチウムを炭酸化させて炭酸ストロンチウム粒子を生成させた。炭酸化中は、懸濁液のpHの測定を行ない、懸濁液のpHが7を下回った時点で二酸化炭素ガスの導入を停止した。
内容積5Lのテフロン製反応容器に、イオン交換水3000gと水酸化バリウム・八水和物404.5gを投入して、水酸化バリウム濃度5.17質量%の水酸化バリウム懸濁液を調製した。水酸化バリウム懸濁液にクエン酸・一水和物4.2gを添加し、懸濁液を撹拌機にて撹拌しながら、反応容器を冷却し、懸濁液の液温を10℃に調節した後、二酸化炭素ガスを0.5L/分(懸濁液中の水酸化バリウム1gに対して約2.8mL/分)となる流量にて導入して、水酸化バリウムを炭酸化させて、炭酸バリウム粒子を生成させた。炭酸化中は、懸濁液のpHの測定を行ない、懸濁液のpHが7を下回った時点で、二酸化炭素ガスの導入と撹拌を停止した。
Claims (6)
- 炭酸バリウムの微粉末であって、一次粒子の投影面積円相当径の平均が30〜90nmの範囲にあり、細孔径10〜20nmの細孔の累積細孔容積が5×10-2cm3/g以上である炭酸バリウム微粉末。
- 細孔径10〜20nmの細孔の累積細孔容積が5×10-2〜15×10-2cm3/gの範囲にある請求項1に記載の炭酸バリウム微粉末。
- 細孔径10nm未満の細孔の累積細孔容積が4×10-2cm3/g以下である請求項1に記載の炭酸バリウム微粉末。
- アスペクト比の平均が2以下である請求項1に記載の炭酸バリウム微粉末。
- 表面に、ポリカルボン酸もしくはその無水物またはその塩からなるポリマーが付着している請求項1に記載の炭酸バリウム微粉末。
- 測定対象の粉末0.5gを濃度0.2質量%のヘキサメタリン酸ナトリウム水溶液50mLに投入し、次いで出力55Wの超音波バスで6分間分散処理することにより調製した懸濁液に含まれる粒子のレーザー回折散乱法によって測定された体積基準の粒度分布から求められる体積基準の平均粒子径が500nm以下であって、粒子径が1000nm以上の粒子の含有率が5体積%以下である請求項1に記載の炭酸バリウム微粉末。
