Description
(1)モノビニル置換芳香族炭化水素と共役ジエンを含む熱可塑性エラストマー、ガラス転移温度が35〜150℃の相溶化剤、及びガラス転移温度が35〜150℃かつカルボキシル基含有量が10〜100mgKOH/gのポリエステル樹脂を含む接着層がポリエステル基材上に積層されてなり、前記接着層上に、エチレン性不飽和化合物および光重合開始剤を含有する感光性樹脂層を設けて使用されるポリエステルフィルム。
(2)感光性樹脂層がさらに熱可塑性エラストマーを含有する(1)のポリエステルフィルム。
(3)熱可塑性エラストマーが、共役ジエンユニットまたは共役ジエン水素添加物ユニットを含む第1の重合体ブロック、およびビニル芳香族炭化水素ユニットを含む第2の重合体ブロックとからなる(2)のポリエステルフィルム。
(4)熱可塑性エラストマーが、ブタジエンユニットまたはブタジエン水素添加物ユニットを含む第1の重合体ブロック、およびビニル芳香族炭化水素ユニットを含む第2の重合体ブロックとからなる(2)のポリエステルフィルム。
(5)上記(1)〜(4)いずれかに記載のポリエステルフィルムの接着層上に感光性樹脂層を設けてなる感光性樹脂構造体。
本発明のポリエステルフィルムにおいては、支持体としてのポリエステル基材に、接着層が積層されている。この接着層を介してポリエステルフィルムを後述の感光性樹脂層と貼り合せることにより、凸版印刷に用いられるための感光性樹脂構造体を得ることができる。

(2)前記(1)における重縮合反応を、目標とする溶融粘度に達する以前の段階で終了し、重縮合反応により得られた反応生成物を次工程で多官能のエポキシ系化合物、イソシアネート系化合物、オキサゾリン系化合物等から選ばれる鎖長延長剤と混合して短時間反応させることにより高分子量化を図る。
(3)前記(1)における重縮合反応を、目標とする溶融粘度以上の段階まで進めておき、モノマー成分を更に添加し、不活性雰囲気下、常圧〜加圧系で解重合を行うことで目標とする溶融粘度のポリエステル樹脂を得る。
(a)前記の方法(1)において、重縮合反応の開始時以降に、3官能以上の多塩基酸成分を添加するか、或いは、重縮合反応の終了直前に多塩基酸の酸無水物を添加する。
(b)前記の方法(2)において、大部分の分子鎖末端がカルボキシル基である低分子量ポリエステル樹脂を鎖長延長剤により高分子量化させる。
(c)前記の方法(3)において、解重合剤として多塩基酸成分を用いる。
上記のなかでも、カルボキシル基酸含有量を最も制御しやすいという観点から、(c)が好ましい。

ポリエステル樹脂1gを50mlのクロロホルム及び/又はジオキサンに溶解し、クレゾールレッドを指示薬としてKOHで滴定を行い、中和に消費されたKOHのmg数をカルボキシル基含有量とした。
(2)ポリエステル樹脂のガラス転移温度
ポリエステル樹脂10mgを試料として示差走査熱量測定装置(パーキンエルマー社製、商品名「DSC7」)を用いて、昇温速度10℃/minの条件で計測した。
接着層が形成されたポリエステルフィルムが紙管に巻き取られる際、接着層に常温で粘着性が強すぎる場合、ブロッキング防止のための離型フィルム(東セロ社製、商品名「OP U−O」)を使用した。
本発明においては、離型フィルムを用いていないものを、実用に耐えうるものとした。
印刷版を幅1cm、長さ15cmに切り取り、温度23℃、相対湿度50%の恒温恒湿室内に一日放置した。その後、長さ5cm程度を、強制的に片方の端から、感光性樹脂層と接着層を有するポリエステルフィルムを剥離した。剥離させたポリエステルフィルムの接着層の反対側と金属板とを、両面テープ(3M社製、商品名「スコッチST-416」)を用いて貼り付け、オートグラフ(島津製作所製、商品名「オートグラフAG−X」)にセットし、180°で50mm/minの速度で強制的に剥離した部分から剥離試験を行った。以下の基準で評価した。
◎:感光性樹脂層とポリエステルフィルムとを剥離することができない。
○:剥離強力が、9.8N/cm以上である。
×:剥離強力が、9.8N/cm未満である。
本発明においては、○以上であるものを、実用に耐えうるものとした。
実施例および比較例で得られた感光性樹脂構造体を印刷版とし、フレキソ印刷機(伊予機械社製、「AI−3型」)を用いて印刷を行った。具体的には、厚み0.35mmのクッションテープ(スリーエム社製、「1915」)を用いて版胴に固定し、エステル溶剤含有インキ(大日本インキ化学工業社製、商品名「XS−716」)を用いて、被印刷体としてコロナ処理された厚さ30umのポリプロピレンフィルム(サントックス社製、「PA30」)、800lpiのアニロックスロール(セル容量:3.8cm3/m2)を用いて、印刷速度80m/分で、10000m印刷を行った。
○:上記いずれの場合においても剥離が観察されない。
×:上記の場合において、剥離が観察される。
本発明においては、○であるものを実用に耐えうるものであるとした。
以下の基準で評価した。
○:上記の(3)〜(5)のすべての評価において、実用に耐えうるものである。
×:上記の(3)〜(5)の評価のうち、一つ以上、実用に耐えられない結果となっている。

(ポリエステル1)
テレフタル酸1,200g、イソフタル酸253g、エチレングリコール374g、ネオペンチルグリコール730gからなる混合物をオートクレーブ中で、250℃で4時間加熱してエステル化反応を行った。次いで、二酸化ゲルマニウムを触媒として0.26g添加し、温度を30分で280℃に昇温し、圧力を徐々に減じて1時間後に13Paとした。さらに重縮合反応を続け、1.5時間後に窒素ガスで常圧にし、260℃まで温度を下げ、イソフタル酸19g、無水フタル酸23gを添加して255℃で30分間攪拌し、シート状に払い出して冷却し、ポリエステル1を得た。ポリエステル1のカルボキシル基含有量は11mgKOH/g、ガラス転移温度は50℃であった。
テレフタル酸1,100g、イソフタル酸290g、アジピン酸335g、無水トリメリット酸35g、エチレングリコール730g、ネオペンチルグリコール360gからなる混合物をオートクレーブ中で、255℃で3時間加熱してエステル化反応を行った。次いで、二酸化ゲルマニウムを触媒として0.25g添加し、温度を30分で280℃に昇温し、圧力を徐々に減じて1時間後に11Paとした。さらに重縮合反応を続け、1.5時間後に窒素ガスで常圧にし、260℃まで温度を下げ、イソフタル酸19g、無水トリメリット酸26gを添加して250℃で30分間攪拌し、シート状に払い出して冷却し、ポリエステル2を得た。ポリエステル2のカルボキシル基含有量は23mgKOH/g、ガラス転移温度は36℃であった。
テレフタル酸1,560g、イソフタル酸160g、無水トリメリット酸90g、エチレングリコール310g、ネオペンチルグリコール900gからなる混合物をオートクレーブ中で、260℃で2.5時間加熱してエステル化反応を行った。次いで、テトラブチルチタネートを触媒として0.23g添加し、温度を30分で280℃に昇温し、圧力を徐々に減じて1時間後に10Paとした。さらに重縮合反応を続け、1.5時間後に窒素ガスで常圧にし、260℃まで温度を下げ、トリメリット酸9g、無水トリメリット酸30gを添加して255℃で45分間攪拌し、シート状に払い出して冷却し、ポリエステル3を得た。ポリエステル3のカルボキシル基含有量は48mgKOH/g、ガラス転移温度は63℃であった。
テレフタル酸1,100g、イソフタル酸19g、アジピン酸660g、無水トリメリット酸35g、エチレングリコール730g、ネオペンチルグリコール360gからなる混合物をオートクレーブ中で、260℃で3時間加熱してエステル化反応を行った。次いで、二酸価ゲルマニウムを触媒として0.25g添加し、温度を30分で280℃に昇温し、圧力を徐々に減じて1時間後に15Paとした。さらに重縮合反応を続け、1.5時間後に窒素ガスで常圧にし、260℃まで温度を下げ、イソフタル酸16g、無水トリメリット酸26gを添加して245℃で45分間攪拌し、シート状に払い出して冷却し、ポリエステル4を得た。ポリエステル4のカルボキシル基含有量は13mgKOH/g、ガラス転移温度は−5℃であった。
テレフタル酸1,600g、イソフタル酸60g、エチレングリコール450g、ネオペンチルグリコール600gからなる混合物をオートクレーブ中で、240℃で3時間加熱してエステル化反応を行った。次いで、テトラブチルチタネートを触媒として0.20g添加し、温度を30分で280℃に昇温し、圧力を徐々に減じて1.5時間後に13Paとした。さらに重縮合反応を続け、4時間後に窒素ガスで常圧にし、ストランド状に払い出して冷却し、ポリエステル5を得た。ポリエステル5のカルボキシル基含有量は1mgKOH/g、ガラス転移温度は83℃であった。
テレフタル酸1,500g、イソフタル酸160g、1,2−プロパンジオール300g、イソソルビド1720gとヒドロキシブチルスズオキサイド1.3gからなる混合物をオートクレーブ中で、240℃で3時間加熱してエステル化反応を行った。次いで、テトラブチルチタネートを触媒として3.4g添加し、温度を30分で280℃に昇温し、圧力を徐々に減じて1.5時間後に10Paとした。さらに重縮合反応を続け、8時間後に窒素ガスで常圧にし、260℃まで温度を下げ、トリメリット酸20g、無水トリメリット酸23gを添加して255度で30分間攪拌し、シート状に払い出して冷却し、ポリエステル6を得た。ポリエステル6のカルボキシル基含有量は45mgKOH/g、ガラス転移温度は139℃であった。
テレフタル酸1,600g、イソフタル酸60g、エチレングリコール450g、ネオペンチルグリコール600gからなる混合物をオートクレーブ中で、240℃で3時間加熱してエステル化反応を行った。次いで、テトラブチルチタネートを触媒として0.20g添加し、温度を30分で280℃に昇温し、圧力を徐々に減じて1.5時間後に13Paとした。さらに重縮合反応を続け、6時間後に窒素ガスで常圧にし、260℃まで温度を下げ、トリメリット酸23g、ピロメリット酸5gを添加して攪拌しながら240℃まで降温し、無水トリメリット酸30g、無水ピロメリット酸10gを添加して30分間攪拌し、シート状に払い出して冷却し、ポリエステル7を得た。ポリエステル7のカルボキシル基含有量は93mgKOH/g、ガラス転移温度は53℃であった。

表1に示した(イ)〜(ホ)の組成で、樹脂組成物をニーダーで混練し、4〜6μm厚みのポリアミドフィルム(ヘンケル白水社製、商品名「マクロメルト6900」)の保護層を有する100μm厚みのカバーシートであるポリエステルフィルム(ユニチカ社製、商品名「SA-100」)上に押し出し、フィルム上に130℃に加熱したカレンダーロールを通して、8種類の厚さ3mmの感光性樹脂層を得た。
厚さ125μmのポリエステルフィルム(ユニチカ社製、商品名「SA−125」)に、表2に示される組成で接着成分を溶解した有機溶剤(溶剤種類アルコール/トルエン/MEK混合溶媒)を、グラビアコーター(東谷鉄工所社製、商品名「FS−29」)を用いて、その後、140℃で5秒間熱処理して、溶媒を除去した。接着層は厚みが2μmであった。この接着層が形成されたポリエステルフィルムを紙管に巻き取った。この際、接着層に常温で粘着性がある場合、ブロッキング防止のための離型フィルム(東セロ社製、商品名「OP U−O」)を使用した。

接着層の組成を、表2および表3に示すように変えた以外は、実施例1と同様にして感光性樹脂構造体を得た。実施例1と同様に、接着性評価および印刷適正評価を行った。なお、接着性評価において×であったものは、印刷適正評価を行っていない。実施例の評価結果を表2に、比較例の評価結果を表3に示した。
Claims (5)
- モノビニル置換芳香族炭化水素と共役ジエンを含む熱可塑性エラストマー、ガラス転移温度が35〜150℃の相溶化剤、及びガラス転移温度が35〜150℃かつカルボキシル基含有量が10〜100mgKOH/gのポリエステル樹脂を含む接着層がポリエステル基材上に積層されてなり、前記接着層上に、エチレン性不飽和化合物および光重合開始剤を含有する感光性樹脂層を設けて使用されるポリエステルフィルム。
- 感光性樹脂層がさらに熱可塑性エラストマーを含有する請求項1記載のポリエステルフィルム。
- 熱可塑性エラストマーが、共役ジエンユニットまたは共役ジエン水素添加物ユニットを含む第1の重合体ブロック、およびビニル芳香族炭化水素ユニットを含む第2の重合体ブロックとからなる請求項2記載のポリエステルフィルム。
- 熱可塑性エラストマーが、ブタジエンユニットまたはブタジエン水素添加物ユニットを含む第1の重合体ブロック、およびビニル芳香族炭化水素ユニットを含む第2の重合体ブロックとからなる請求項2記載のポリエステルフィルム。
- 請求項1〜4いずれかに記載のポリエステルフィルムの接着層上に感光性樹脂層を設けてなる感光性樹脂構造体。
