Description
図1は、本発明の一実施形態に係る操作デバイスを含んだ情報処理システム1の全体概要を示す概要図である。本発明の一実施形態では、情報処理システム1は、第1操作デバイス10及び第2操作デバイス30という2個の操作デバイスと、情報処理装置50と、を含んで構成される。第1操作デバイス10及び第2操作デバイス30のそれぞれは、ユーザによって一方の手で把持されて、ユーザの情報処理装置50に対する操作入力のために使用される。情報処理装置50は、例えば家庭用ゲーム機やパーソナルコンピュータ等であって、撮像装置51及び表示装置52と接続されている。
以下、本実施形態における第1操作デバイス10の構成について、説明する。
次に、第2操作デバイス30の構成について、説明する。

である。また、被係合部42及び43の奥行きd2は、拡張機器に設けられた係合部の長さ(係合部が拡張機器本体から突出する部分の長さ)に対応し、爪収容部42a及び43aの奥行きd3は、係合部の先端に設けられた爪部の長さに対応し、開口部42c及び43cの奥行きd5は、第2操作デバイス30の底面における拡張コネクタ41の開口位置から、ガイド部42b及び43bの第2操作デバイス30底面側の端までの距離に対応している。
(d3+d5)<(d2−d1)
の関係が成り立っている。ここで、d2−d1は、拡張機器側におけるプラグの先端部分から係合部の先端部分までの距離に対応する。この距離が爪収容部42aの奥行きd3と開口部42cの奥行きd5の合計よりも大きくなっていることにより、係合部の先端に設けられた爪部が開口部42cよりも奥側のガイド部42b内に挿入されるまで、プラグの先端部分は拡張コネクタ41に接触しないようになっている。
Claims (6)
- ユーザが片手で把持して使用する操作デバイスであって、
当該操作デバイスの筐体表面において、前記ユーザが当該操作デバイスを把持した際に親指で操作する操作部材が配置される親指操作領域と、
前記親指操作領域内から突出する棒状の部分を含み、前記ユーザが親指で当該棒状の部分を傾けて操作する傾倒操作部材と、
前記筐体表面において前記親指操作領域と対向する位置に配置され、前記ユーザの他の指により、前記傾倒操作部材に向かう方向と交差する方向に押し込み可能な操作ボタンと、
を含み、
前記親指操作領域は、前記傾倒操作部材が配置される第1部分領域と、前記ユーザによる方向の指示に用いられる方向指示ボタンが配置される第2部分領域とを含み、
前記第1部分領域は、前記第2部分領域に対して、前記筐体の内側に向かって傾斜している、
ことを特徴とする操作デバイス。 - 請求項1記載の操作デバイスにおいて、
前記操作ボタンは、前記筐体において前記ユーザの手のひらで把持される把持部分に向かう方向に押し込み可能になっている
ことを特徴とする操作デバイス。 - 請求項1又は2記載の操作デバイスにおいて、
前記操作ボタンは、ユーザが当該操作ボタンを押し込んだ量を検知可能なボタンである
ことを特徴とする操作デバイス。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか一項記載の操作デバイスにおいて、
前記親指操作領域は、前記筐体の長手方向に沿って延びる領域であって、
前記第1部分領域は、前記筐体において前記ユーザの手のひらで把持される把持部分とは逆側に位置し、前記第2部分領域は、前記把持部分の側に位置する、
ことを特徴とする操作デバイス。 - 請求項4記載の操作デバイスにおいて、
前記操作ボタンは、前記親指操作領域のうち、前記第1部分領域と前記第2部分領域の境界位置に対向する位置に配置されている
ことを特徴とする操作デバイス。 - 請求項4又は5記載の操作デバイスにおいて、
前記傾倒操作部材は、前記第1部分領域を構成する面と直交する方向に突出して設けられている
ことを特徴とする操作デバイス。
