Description
1)
炭素数4〜6を有する脂肪族系(メタ)アルキルアクリレート及び炭素数7〜12を有する脂肪族系(メタ)アルキルアクリレートから選択される第一モノマーであり、ホモポリマーのガラス転移温度が−25℃以下である、第一モノマー98〜50質量部と、
アミド基含有エチレン系不飽和共重合性モノマー、
カルボキシル基含有エチレン系不飽和共重合性モノマー、
アミノ基含有エチレン系不飽和共重合性モノマー、
ホモポリマーのガラス転移温度が−25℃以上である非三級アルキル(メタ)アクリレート、及び、
化学構造式(I)CH2=CR1COO(R2O)nR3又はCH2=CR1COOR4R5(式中、R1=メチル又はH;R2及びR4=炭素数1〜6を有する直鎖又は分枝鎖アルキル;R3=メチル、エチル、又は、置換若しくは非置換フェニル;R5=置換又は非置換の、酸素を含有する4員若しくは5員環;n=1〜16)により表されるモノマーからなる群から選択される1つ以上を含む第二モノマー2〜50質量部と、を含む(メタ)アクリル系モノマー100質量部;
2)ブロックコポリマー10〜100質量部;
3)水素添加粘着付与剤20〜100質量部;並びに
4)光重合反応開始剤0.05〜1.0質量部。
i)第一モノマー98〜50質量部と、第二モノマー2〜50質量部と、を含む(メタ)アクリル系モノマー100質量部、
ii)ブロックコポリマー10〜100質量部、
iii)水素添加粘着付与剤0〜100質量部、並びに
iv)光重合反応開始剤0.05〜1.0質量部。
感圧接着剤は、ブロックコポリマー約10質量部〜約100質量部を含む。これは、(メタ)アクリル系モノマー100部に対して約10部〜約100部に相当する。約10質量部未満である場合には、周囲温度における剥離力は十分ではない傾向があり、100質量部超である場合にはブロックコポリマーはモノマー中で十分に分散するのが困難になる傾向がある。
本開示の感圧接着剤は、水素添加粘着付与剤約20質量部〜約100質量部を含む。水素添加粘着付与剤は、紫外線による(メタ)アクリル系モノマーのラジカル重合を阻害せず、感圧接着剤の接着力を改善する。粘着付与剤の量が20質量部未満である場合には感圧接着剤の低表面エネルギー基材への接着力は低下し、粘着付与剤の量が約100質量部超である場合には感圧接着剤はモノマー溶液中に溶解するのが困難になる。水素添加粘着付与剤としては、水素添加ロジンエステル(例えば、イーストマンケミカルジャパン(株)(Eastman Chemical Japan Limited)からのForal 85−E)、水素添加テルペン樹脂、脂肪族系水素添加石油樹脂(例えば、荒川化学工業株式会社(Arakawa Chemical Industries, Ltd.)から入手可能なArkon M(部分水素添加)又はArkon P(完全水素添加))又は芳香族系変性水素添加石油樹脂(例えば、Exxon Mobileから入手可能なEscorez 5600)などの部分若しくは完全水素添加樹脂が挙げられる。
本開示の感圧接着剤は、光重合反応開始剤約0.05質量部〜約1.0質量部を含む。大きな接着力、特に高温における剥離力及び高温におけるエージング後の剥離力、を有するために、このような範囲の量が好ましい。更に、光重合反応開始剤の量は、約0.05質量部〜約0.5質量部、又は、0.05質量部〜約0.3質量部であり得る。
本開示の感圧接着剤は、第一モノマー、第二モノマー、ブロックコポリマー及び水素添加粘着付与剤などの成分の、並びに所望により添加剤も一緒の、紫外線重合により得ることができる。あるいは、第一モノマー及び第二モノマーを最初に混合し、次に粘着付与剤の部分を混合物に添加し、窒素ガスで置換し、次に紫外線で硬化させて、約1000cps〜約5000cpsの粘度を有するプレポリマーを得る。続いて、光重合反応開始剤、ブロックコポリマー及び残りの水素添加粘着付与剤を添加し、混合し、紫外線で硬化させて、感圧接着剤を得た。
本開示の接着テープは、基材層と、本明細書に記載の感圧接着剤を含む接着層と、を含む。接着テープは、基材の一方の側又は両側に接着層を積層することにより作製してもよい。表面保護層及び下塗剤層などの他の機能層を所望により積層してもよい。更に、ライナーを接着層の表面上に積層してもよい。

表1〜12に記載のモノマー及び他の成分を、容器中で撹拌しながら、混合し、溶解させた(65℃にて24時間にわたって)。成分が塩化ポリオレフィン(日本製紙ケミカル株式会社(Nippon Paper Chemicals Co. Ltd.)から入手可能な892LS)を含む場合、モノマー及び塩化ポリオレフィンを容器中で混合し、撹拌し(65℃にて60分にわたって)、その後、残りの成分を塩化ポリオレフィン溶液に添加して、撹拌しながら溶解させた。
表2に示す成分及びトルエンを容器に添加し、周囲温度にて24時間にわたって撹拌した。撹拌した溶液を50マイクロメートルの厚さの剥離処理PETフィルム(三菱化学株式会社(Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation)から)上にナイフコーティングによりコーティングし、100℃にて10分にわたって乾燥させて、感圧接着剤を得た。厚さは50マイクロメートルであった。
塩化ポリオレフィン(日本製紙ケミカル株式会社(Nippon Paper Chemicals Co. Ltd.)から入手可能な892LS)をトルエンに添加し、60℃に加熱し、撹拌しながら溶解させた。続いて、得られたトルエン溶液に、表2に示したブロックコポリマー及び粘着付与剤を添加し、周囲温度にて24時間にわたって撹拌しながら溶解させた。35質量%のアクリル系ポリマー285.7部(固体で100部)と3質量%のアジリジン架橋剤(イソフタロイルビス−2−メチルアジリジン)のトルエン溶液6.66部(固体で0.2部)を、得られたトルエン溶液に添加し、十分に撹拌したところ、接着剤溶液が生じた。
アクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル71.11部、N,N−ジメチルアクリルアミド27.65部、アクリル酸1.235部、酢酸エチル157.9部及びトルエン27.8部を耐圧ガラスびんに注入した。溶媒重合反応開始剤として0.1481部の2,2’−アゾビス(2,4−ジメチルバレロニトリル)を耐圧ガラスびんに添加した後、系を10分にわたって不活性ガス注入により窒素ガスで置換した。ガス置換直後、耐圧ガラスびんを蓋で閉じ、次に、50℃にて20時間にわたって恒温槽内で硬化させたところ、アクリル系ポリマー溶液が生じた。
光重合反応開始剤を表1及び2に列挙したモノマーに、上段に示された量で添加し、次に窒素ガスで置換(脱酸素)し、次に紫外線で硬化させたところ、約1000cps〜約5000cpsの粘度を有するプレポリマーが得られた。次に、光重合反応開始剤、架橋剤、ブロックコポリマー及び水素添加粘着付与剤を低段に示された量で添加し、容器内で65℃にて24時間にわたって撹拌しながら溶解させた。続いて、試料を実施例1と同様の方法で得た。
被着体としてポリプロピレン(PP)製パネル(5mm×35mm×75mm、日本ポリプロ株式会社(Japan Polypropylene Corporation)から入手可能)を準備し、イソプロピルアルコール(IPA)で洗浄した。実施例及び比較例で調製した試料(12mm×60mm)を、2kgローラーを用いて(1回前後させる)被着体に接着させ、周囲温度(25℃)にて24時間にわたってエージングし、次に180°剥離力(周囲温度、引張速度50mm/分)を引張試験機(Orientec Co.,LTD.から入手可能なTensilon RTC−1325A)で測定した。結果を表1〜12に示す。
被着体としてポリプロピレン(PP)製パネル(5mm×35mm×75mm、日本ポリプロ株式会社(Japan Polypropylene Corporation)から入手可能)を準備し、イソプロピルアルコール(IPA)で洗浄した。実施例及び比較例で調製した試料(12mm×60mm)を、2kgローラーを用いて(1回前後させる)被着体に接着させ、80℃にて30〜60分にわたってエージングし、次に180°剥離力(80℃、引張速度50mm/分)を引張試験機(Orientec Co.,LTD.から入手可能なTensilon RTC−1325A)で測定した。結果を表1〜12に示す。
被着体としてポリプロピレン(PP)製パネル(5mm×35mm×75mm、日本ポリプロ株式会社(Japan Polypropylene Corporation)から入手可能)を準備し、イソプロピルアルコール(IPA)で洗浄した。実施例1〜12及び14〜42並びに比較例1〜14で調製した試料(12mm×60mm)を、2kgローラーを用いて(1回前後させる)被着体に接着させ、80℃にて2週間にわたって保管し、次に180°剥離力(周囲温度、引張速度50mm/分)を引張試験機(Orientec Co.,LTD.から入手可能なTensilon RTC−1325A)で測定した。結果を表1〜9に示す。
被着体としてポリプロピレン(PP)製パネル(5mm×35mm×75mm、日本ポリプロ株式会社(Japan Polypropylene Corporation)から入手可能)を準備し、イソプロピルアルコール(IPA)で洗浄した。実施例1〜12及び14〜42並びに比較例1〜14で調製した試料(12mm×60mm)を、2kgローラーを用いて(1回前後させる)被着体に接着させ、フェルトで下塗剤(住友3M株式会社(Sumitomo 3M Limited)から入手可能なPrimer K500)によりコーティングされた塗装済みパネル(カチオン電着塗装:JIS,G,3141(SPCC,SD))を試料の反対表面(アクリル系発泡体側の表面)上に積層し、次に周囲温度(25℃)にて24時間にわたって及び80℃にて2週間にわたって保管し、剪断力(Orientec Co.,LTD.から入手可能なTensilon RTC−1325A、周囲温度、引張速度50mm/分)を引張試験機(Orientec Co.,LTD.から入手可能なTensilon RTC−1325A)で測定した。結果を表1〜9に示す。
被着体として、ポリ塩化ビニルパネル(酸表面)(三菱化学株式会社(Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation)から入手可能なXP103、2mm×25mm×100mm)及びポリプロピレン(PP)パネル(LSE表面)(日本ポリプロ株式会社(Japan Polypropylene Corporation)から入手可能、5mm×35mm×75mm)を調製し、イソプロピルアルコール(IPA)で洗浄した。実施例9〜12で調製した試験試料(12mm×25mm)の接着面を被着体に接着させ、試験試料の反対側(アクリル系発泡体テープ表面)を、洗浄したSUS−304パネル(0.5mm×30mm×60mm)に接着させ、次に5kgローラーで(1回前後させる)加圧した。試料をオーブン内に70℃にて30分にわたって置き、垂直から2°ずらして配置し、1kgのおもりを試料の自由端に吊るし、パネルからおもりを付した試料が落下するのにかかる時間を記録した。結果を表3に示す。
オーブン温度が40℃であること、並びに、表13に列挙した被着体を使用したことを除き、70℃での静的剪断試験と同様の方法で試験に、実施例49〜52で調製した試験試料(12mm×25mm)を使用した。結果を表13に示す。
Claims (3)
- 1)
炭素数4〜6を有する脂肪族系(メタ)アルキルアクリレート及び炭素数7〜12を有する脂肪族系(メタ)アルキルアクリレートから選択される第一モノマーであり、ホモポリマーのガラス転移温度が−25℃以下である、第一モノマー98〜50質量部と、
アミド基含有エチレン系不飽和共重合性モノマー、
カルボキシル基含有エチレン系不飽和共重合性モノマー、
アミノ基含有エチレン系不飽和共重合性モノマー、
ホモポリマーのガラス転移温度が−25℃以上である非三級アルキル(メタ)アクリレート、及び、
化学構造式(I)CH2=CR1COO(R2O)nR3又はCH2=CR1COOR4R5(式中、R1=メチル又はH;R2及びR4=炭素数1〜6を有する直鎖又は分枝鎖アルキル;R3=メチル、エチル、又は、置換若しくは非置換フェニル;R5=置換又は非置換の、酸素を含有する4員若しくは5員環;n=1〜16)により表されるモノマーからなる群から選択される1つ以上を含む第二モノマー2〜50質量部と、を含む(メタ)アクリル系モノマー100質量部;
2)スチレン−イソプレン−スチレンブロックコポリマー、スチレン−ブタジエン−スチレンブロックコポリマー、スチレン−ブタジエンブロックコポリマー、及びスチレン−ブタジエン/ブチレン−スチレンブロックコポリマーからなる群から選択されるブロックコポリマー10〜100質量部;
3)水素添加粘着付与剤20〜100質量部;並びに
4)光重合反応開始剤0.05〜1.0質量部
を含有する混合物を重合することにより得られる感圧性接着剤であって、
前記ブロックコポリマーがスチレン−イソプレン−スチレンブロックコポリマーを含む場合、前記第一モノマーは炭素数4〜6を有する脂肪族系(メタ)アルキルアクリレートから選択され、
前記ブロックコポリマーがスチレン−ブタジエン−スチレンブロックコポリマーである場合、(メタ)アクリル系モノマー100質量部における炭素数7〜12を有する脂肪族系(メタ)アルキルアクリレートの含有量が71.11質量部以下である、感圧性接着剤。 - 基材層と、請求項1に記載の感圧性接着剤を含む感圧接着層と、を含む、感圧接着テープ。
- 前記基材層がアクリル系発泡体シートを含む、請求項2に記載の感圧接着テープ。
