Abstract
Description
本願は、2013年01月11日に、日本に出願された特願2013−003665号に基づき優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
(1)本発明の一態様に係る熱間製管用プラグは、プラグ本体と;前記プラグ本体の表面上に、前記プラグ本体の軸周りに肉盛溶接によって形成され、遷移金属を主成分とする合金を含有する肉盛層と;前記肉盛層の表面上に形成される鉄酸化物を含有する溶射皮膜と;を備え、前記プラグ本体の表面は、前記肉盛層が形成される第1表面領域と;前記第1表面領域よりも前記プラグ本体の後方の第2表面領域と;を含み、前記溶射皮膜は、前記肉盛層の表面上に形成される第1溶射領域と;前記第2表面領域上に形成される第2溶射領域と;を含む。
(2)上記(1)に記載の熱間製管用プラグにおいて、前記第2溶射領域が前記第1溶射領域と隣接していてもよい。
(3)上記(1)または(2)に記載の熱間製管用プラグにおいて、前記肉盛層が、前記プラグ本体の先端を覆っていてもよい。
(4)上記(1)〜(3)のいずれか一つに記載の熱間製管用プラグにおいて、前記溶射皮膜は、鋼線材をアーク溶射することによって形成されていてもよい。
本発明者は、プラグの寿命を向上するために、調査、検討を行い、以下の知見を得た。
本実施形態に係るプラグは、穿孔機、又は、エロンゲータに利用される。以降の説明では、穿孔機を例にプラグの説明を行う。しかしながら、エロンゲータに利用されるプラグも同様である。
図6は、プラグ100の縦断面図である。ここでいう縦断面図とは、プラグ100の中心軸CLを含む断面を意味する。
プラグ本体101の前部には、肉盛層102が形成される。本明細書において、プラグ本体101の「前部」とは、プラグ100の全長の中央とプラグ100の先端との間の部分を意味する。プラグ100の前部はテーパ形状を有する。
肉盛層102は、プラグ本体101の表面上に、プラグ本体101の軸周り(中心軸CLの周り)に形成される。肉盛層102は、プラグ本体101の前部に形成され、中心軸CLに対して傾斜するテーパ形状の表面を有する。以下、肉盛層102のテーパ形状の表面をテーパ表面という。肉盛層102は、プラグ本体101の前部の全体に形成されてもよいし、前部のうちの一部に形成されてもよい。
溶射皮膜103は、肉盛層102の表面上に形成される。図6に示すように、溶射皮膜103は、プラグ本体101の表面うち、肉盛層102が形成された第1表面領域1011よりも後方の第2表面領域1012上にも形成されている。以降の説明では、必要に応じて、肉盛層102上に形成された溶射皮膜103を第1溶射領域1031と称し、第2表面領域1012上に形成された溶射皮膜103を第2溶射領域1032と称する。
プラグ100の製造方法の一例は次の通りである。
表1において、試験番号1〜11のプラグのプラグ本体はいずれも、最大外径が77mm、全長が230mmの砲弾形状であった。プラグ本体は、JIS G4404(2006)に規定の合金工具鋼鋼材に相当する化学組成を有した。
試験結果を表1に示す。表1中の「状態」欄には、試験終了時のプラグの表面状態が記載されている。

- プラグ本体と;
前記プラグ本体の表面上に、前記プラグ本体の軸周りに肉盛溶接によって形成され、遷移金属を主成分とする合金を含有する肉盛層と;
前記肉盛層の表面上に形成される鉄酸化物を含有する溶射皮膜と;
を備え、
前記プラグ本体の表面は、
前記肉盛層が形成される第1表面領域と;
前記第1表面領域よりも前記プラグ本体の後方の第2表面領域と;
を含み、
前記溶射皮膜は、
前記肉盛層の表面上に形成される第1溶射領域と;
前記第2表面領域上に形成される第2溶射領域と;
を含むことを特徴とする熱間製管用プラグ。 - 前記第2溶射領域は前記第1溶射領域と隣接することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の熱間製管用プラグ。
- 前記肉盛層は、前記プラグ本体の先端を覆うことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の熱間製管用プラグ。
- 前記溶射皮膜は、鋼線材をアーク溶射することによって形成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の熱間製管用プラグ。
