Description
(i)チタン酸ナトリウム及びイオン性金属化合物(1つ、又はいくつかの化合物が同時に存在する場合は複数)を混合して水性混合スラリーとし、
(ii)混合スラリーを、常圧及び通常の気体雰囲気中で混合することにより、混合スラリーの沸点又はそれを下回る温度で金属チタン酸塩へと反応させ、その後
(iii)金属チタン酸塩生成物を任意選択により洗浄、及び/又はろ過、及び乾燥させる。
Claims (36)
- 1つ又は複数の金属化合物から金属チタン酸塩を調製する方法であって、前記金属がアルカリ土類金属であり、
(i)チタン酸ナトリウム及びイオン性金属化合物を混合して水性混合スラリーとすることと、
(ii)混合スラリーを、常圧及び通常の気体雰囲気中で混合することにより、混合スラリーの沸点又はそれを下回る温度で金属チタン酸塩へと反応させることと、その後
(iii)結晶性金属チタン酸塩生成物を得ること、
を含む方法。 - 前記結晶性金属チタン酸塩生成物を、さらに洗浄、及び/又はろ過、及び乾燥させることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記混合スラリーを、100℃以下の温度で金属チタン酸塩へと反応させることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記混合スラリーを、75℃以下の温度で金属チタン酸塩へと反応させることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記混合スラリーを、59℃以下の温度で金属チタン酸塩へと反応させることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記混合スラリーを、50℃以下の温度で金属チタン酸塩へと反応させることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記金属化合物の金属カチオンがBa及び/又はSrであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記金属化合物が水酸化物又は炭酸塩であることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記金属化合物がアルカリ土類金属水酸化物であることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記金属化合物が水酸化バリウム、水酸化ストロンチウム、又はそれらの混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記混合スラリーを最大12時間反応させてアルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩とすることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記混合スラリーを最大5時間反応させてアルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩とすることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記混合スラリーを最大1時間反応させてアルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩とすることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記混合スラリーを最大50分間反応させてアルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩とすることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記混合スラリーを最大40分間反応させてアルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩とすることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- チタン酸ナトリウムが水性スラリーの形態であることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- チタン酸ナトリウムが、二酸化チタンの製造から得られる二酸化チタン水和物から、これをアルカリと共に処理してチタン酸ナトリウムスラリーとすることによって調製されることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- チタン酸ナトリウムが、イルメナイト濃縮物から硫酸を用いて、二酸化チタン水和物を加水分解し、これを300〜400g/lの濃度まで水中で水簸して二酸化チタン水和物スラリーとし、これを11を超えるpHのアルカリで煮沸してチタン酸ナトリウムスラリーとし、ここから可溶性の硫酸塩を洗い流し、ろ過することによって調製されることを特徴とする、請求項17に記載の方法。
- チタン酸ナトリウムを水中で水簸してチタン酸ナトリウムスラリーとし、150〜350g/lの濃度とすることを特徴とする、請求項16乃至18のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- (i)の段階で混合されるチタン酸ナトリウムと金属塩又は組み合わせた金属塩とのモル比が、0.9〜1.8であることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至19のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- (i)の段階で混合されるチタン酸ナトリウムと水酸化バリウム及び/又は水酸化ストロンチウムとのモル比が、0.9〜1.6であることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至19のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- アルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩生成物を、250℃未満の温度で乾燥させることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至21のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- アルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩生成物を、250℃未満の温度で、真空中で乾燥させることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至21のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- アルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩生成物を、200℃未満の温度で乾燥させることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至21のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- アルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩生成物を、200℃未満の温度で、真空中で乾燥させることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至21のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- アルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩生成物を、155℃未満の温度で乾燥させることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至21のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- アルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩生成物を、155℃未満の温度で、真空中で乾燥させることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至21のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- アルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩生成物を、110℃未満の温度で乾燥させることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至21のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- アルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩生成物を、110℃未満の温度で、真空中で乾燥させることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至21のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- アルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩生成物を、50℃未満の温度で乾燥させることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至21のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- アルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩生成物を、50℃未満の温度で、真空中で乾燥させることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至21のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 乾燥させたアルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩生成物を、カ焼することにより、さらに処理することを特徴とする、請求項1乃至31のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 乾燥させたアルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩生成物を、950℃以下の温度でカ焼することにより、さらに処理することを特徴とする、請求項1乃至31のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 乾燥させたアルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩生成物を、800℃以下の温度でカ焼することにより、さらに処理することを特徴とする、請求項1乃至31のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 乾燥させたアルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩生成物を、750℃以下の温度でカ焼することにより、さらに処理することを特徴とする、請求項1乃至31のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 乾燥させたアルカリ土類金属チタン酸塩生成物を、450℃〜750℃の温度でカ焼することにより、さらに処理することを特徴とする、請求項1乃至31のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
