Description
まず、図1〜図11を参照して、本発明の第1実施形態による投光装置1の構造について説明する。
この第2実施形態では、図16〜図19を参照して、上記第1実施形態と異なり、投光装置が前照灯(灯具)と方向指示器(灯具)とを兼ねる場合について説明する。
この第3実施形態では、図20を参照して、上記第1および第2実施形態と異なり、反射部材23により光を投光する場合について説明する。
この第4実施形態では、図21を参照して、上記第1〜第3実施形態と異なり、蛍光部材22の背面(照射面22aとは反対側の面)から出射した光を反射部材23により投光する場合について説明する。
次に、図22を参照して、本発明の第5実施形態による投光装置501の構造について説明する。

Claims (18)
- 励起光を出射する複数の励起光源と、
前記励起光源からの励起光により励起される蛍光部材と、
前記励起光源の出力を制御する制御部と、
前記蛍光部材から出射した光を投光する投光部材と、
前記励起光が入射される光入射面と、前記励起光を前記蛍光部材に向かって出射する光出射面とを含む複数の導光部と、
を備え、
前記光出射面は平面状であり、
前記蛍光部材は前記励起光が照射される複数の照射領域を含み、
前記制御部が前記複数の励起光源の出力を個別に変化させることにより、前記複数の照射領域の励起状態は個別に変化され、
前記複数の照射領域の各々は、対応する前記導光部の光出射面の形状により規定され、
前記導光部の少なくとも1つの光出射面は、所定方向に非対称な形状に形成されていることを特徴とする投光装置。 - 励起光を出射する複数の励起光源と、
前記励起光源からの励起光により励起される蛍光部材と、
前記励起光源の出力を制御する制御部と、
前記蛍光部材から出射した光を投光する投光部材と、
を備え、
前記蛍光部材は前記励起光が照射される複数の照射領域を含み、
前記制御部が前記複数の励起光源の出力を制御することにより、前記複数の照射領域の励起状態は個別に制御され、
前記蛍光部材は、前記励起光が照射されることにより白色光を出射する第1蛍光部材と、前記励起光が照射されることにより橙色光を出射する第2蛍光部材とを含み、
前記第1蛍光部材は車両用の前照灯の光源として機能し、
前記第2蛍光部材は車両用の方向指示器の光源として機能することを特徴とする投光装置。 - 前記光出射面は前記光入射面よりも小さい面積を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の投光装置。
- 前記複数の照射領域は選択的に励起されることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の投光装置。
- 前記蛍光部材は所定方向に非対称な形状で励起されることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の投光装置。
- 前記投光部材の焦点は前記照射領域の縁部に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の投光装置。
- 自動車用の前照灯に用いられ、
前記投光部材の焦点は、前記照射領域のうちの投光パターンのカットオフラインを投影する縁部に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の投光装置。 - 前記投光部材の焦点は、前記照射領域のうちの投光パターンのエルボー点を投影する位置に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の投光装置。
- 前記投光部材は前記蛍光部材から出射した光を透過するレンズを含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の投光装置。
- 前記投光部材は、前記レンズと、前記蛍光部材から出射した光を前記レンズに向かって反射する反射面を有する反射部材とを含み、
前記反射面は楕円面により形成され、
前記反射面の第1焦点は前記照射領域に配置され、
前記反射面の第2焦点と前記レンズの焦点とは一致していることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の投光装置。 - 前記レンズの焦点は前記照射領域に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の投光装置。
- 前記第2蛍光部材は間欠励起されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の投光装置。
- 前記制御部は前記複数の励起光源の出力を個別に制御することを特徴とする請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の投光装置。
- 前記励起光はレーザ光を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の投光装置。
- 車両用の灯具として用いられることを特徴とする請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の投光装置。
- 自動車用のすれ違い用前照灯および走行用前照灯として用いられることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の投光装置。
- 自動車用のAFS(Adaptive Front−Lighting System)およびコーナリングライトの少なくとも一方として用いられることを特徴とする請求項15または16に記載の投光装置。
- 請求項1に記載の投光装置に用いられる導光部材であって、
複数の導光部を備えることを特徴とする導光部材。
