Claims (6)
- 焼結耐火性物品を形成する方法において、
間隙(56)により隔てられた複数の支持板(46)上に未焼成耐火性物体(42)を位置決めする工程であって、前記支持板が複数の支持部材(44)により支持され、前記支持部材の各々が、一定の曲率半径の弓形上面(48)および一定の曲率半径の弓形下面(50)を有し、該弓形上面の曲率半径が該弓形下面の曲率半径と等しく、該各支持部材の重心が該支持部材の回転中心よりも該弓形下面に近く、前記未焼成耐火性物体と前記支持板との間に設置材(60)の層が配置されている、工程、および
前記未焼成耐火性物体を加熱して、焼結耐火性物品を形成する工程、
を有してなり、
前記加熱工程中に、前記未焼成耐火性物体(42)が収縮し、該未焼成耐火性物体の収縮に応答して前記支持板が移動し、該支持板の移動に応答して前記支持部材が回転することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記焼結耐火性物品の最長寸法が少なくとも250cmであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記焼結耐火性物品の質量が450kg超であることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 前記未焼成耐火性物体(42)が、耐火性材料を静水圧プレス成形することにより形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1から3いずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記焼結耐火性物品がジルコンまたはゼノタイムから構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から4いずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記弓形上面の長さが前記弓形下面の長さより短いことを特徴とする請求項1から5いずれか1項記載の方法。
