Description
この実施例Iにおける説明は本発明の非晶質シリカ−アルミナ組成物を調製する本発明のpHスウィング法を説明する。このpHスウィング法によって製造される非晶質シリカ−アルミナ生成物に関する物理特性データがさらに提示される。
Claims (2)
- 非晶質シリカ−アルミナ組成物の製造方法であって、
シリカ−アルミナ組成物の総乾燥重量に基づくシリカ含有率が25〜75重量%であり、
混合域内でシリカ−アルミナを含む沈殿固体を、
(a)前記混合域に水を導入し;
(b)1.5から6.5の範囲のpHを有する、水および硫酸アルミニウムを含む混合物が得られるように、前記混合域に硫酸アルミニウムを導入し;
(c)その後、前記混合域にアルミン酸ナトリウムを導入し、これにより前記混合物のpHを7.5から12の範囲内に上昇させ;
(d)その後、前記混合域に硫酸アルミニウムを導入し、これにより前記混合物のpHを1.5から6.5の範囲内に低下させ;ならびに
(e)その後、前記混合域にケイ酸ナトリウムを導入し、これにより前記混合物のpHを7.5から12の範囲内に上昇させ;ならびに
前記沈殿固体を前記混合物から回収する、
ことによって形成することを含む方法。 - 回収工程に先立ち、
(f)工程(e)の後、硫酸アルミニウムを前記混合域に導入し、これにより前記混合物のpHを1.5から6.5の範囲内に低下させ;
(g)その後、アルミン酸ナトリウムを前記混合域に導入し、これにより前記混合液のpHを7.5から12の範囲内に上昇させ;
(h)その後、硫酸アルミニウムを前記混合域に導入し、これにより前記混合物のpHを1.5から6.5の範囲内に低下させ;および
(i)その後、ケイ酸ナトリウムを前記混合域に導入し、これにより前記混合物のpHを7.5から12の範囲内に上昇させる、
ことをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
