Description
(a)硫酸アルミニウムを含み、1.0〜6.5の範囲のpHを有する水性混合物を調製するステップと、
(b)アルカリ金属アルミン酸塩を、ステップ(a)で得られた混合物に添加してその混合物のpHを7.1〜12の範囲内に増大させるステップと、
(c)硫酸アルミニウムを、ステップ(b)で得られた混合物に添加してその混合物のpHを1.5〜6.5の範囲内に低下させるステップと、
(d)アルカリ金属ケイ酸塩を、ステップ(c)で得られた混合物に添加してその混合物のpHを6.5〜11の範囲内に増大させるステップを含み、
前記調製方法の最終ステップが、
(v)硫酸アルミニウムを、ステップ(a)〜(d)を含む方法で得られた混合物に添加してその混合物のpHを2〜8の範囲内に低下させるステップと、
(w)アルカリ金属ケイ酸塩を、ステップ(v)で得られた混合物に添加してその混合物のpHを増大させるステップと、
(x)ステップ(w)で得られた混合物に、(i)その混合物のpHを7.8〜12に変化させるためのアルカリ金属アルミン酸塩、及び(ii)その混合物のpHを1.5〜7.7の範囲内に変化させるための硫酸アルミニウムを添加するステップであって、ステップ(i)がステップ(ii)に先行しても、それに後続してもよいステップと、
(y)ステップ(x)で得られた混合物を7.5〜12のpHを有するアルカリ溶液で処理するステップと、
(z)ステップ(y)で得られた混合物から沈澱固体を回収して、30〜70wt%のシリカ及び70〜30wt%のアルミナを含むシリカ−アルミナ組成物を得るステップである、前記調製方法に関する。
この実施例は、本発明によるpHスイング法、及びそのpHスイング法によって作製された非晶質シリカ−アルミナ生成物の物理的特性を例示する。
Claims (7)
- 30〜70wt%のシリカ及び70〜30wt%のアルミナを含むシリカ−アルミナ組成物の調製方法であって、
(a)硫酸アルミニウムを含み、1.0〜6.5の範囲のpHを有する水性混合物を調製するステップと、
(b)アルカリ金属アルミン酸塩を、ステップ(a)で得られた混合物に添加して前記混合物のpHを7.1〜12の範囲内に増大させるステップと、
(c)硫酸アルミニウムを、ステップ(b)で得られた混合物に添加して前記混合物のpHを1.5〜6.5の範囲内に低下させるステップと、
(d)アルカリ金属ケイ酸塩を、ステップ(c)で得られた混合物に添加して前記混合物のpHを6.5〜11の範囲内に増大させるステップと、
を含み、前記調製方法の最終ステップが、
(v)硫酸アルミニウムを、ステップ(a)〜(d)を含む方法で得られた混合物に添加して前記混合物のpHを2〜8の範囲内に低下させるステップと、
(w)アルカリ金属ケイ酸塩を、ステップ(v)で得られた混合物に添加して前記混合物のpHを増大させるステップと、
(x)ステップ(w)で得られた混合物に、(i)前記混合物のpHを7.8〜12に変化させるためのアルカリ金属アルミン酸塩、及び(ii)前記混合物のpHを1.5〜7.7の範囲内に変化させるための硫酸アルミニウムを添加するステップであって、ステップ(i)がステップ(ii)に先行しても後続してもよいステップと、
(y)ステップ(x)で得られた混合物を7.5〜12のpHを有するアルカリ溶液で処理するステップと、
(z)ステップ(y)で得られた混合物から沈澱固体を回収して、30〜70wt%のシリカ及び70〜30wt%のアルミナを含むシリカ−アルミナ組成物を得るステップである、
前記調製方法。 - 前記調製方法が、
(e)硫酸アルミニウムを、ステップ(d)で得られた混合物に添加して前記混合物のpHを1.5〜7.0の範囲内に低下させるステップと、
(f)アルカリ金属アルミン酸塩を、ステップ(e)で得られた混合物に添加して前記混合物のpHを7.5〜12の範囲内に増大させるステップと、
をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記アルカリ金属アルミン酸塩がアルミン酸ナトリウムである、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記アルカリ金属ケイ酸塩がケイ酸ナトリウムである、請求項1から3までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- ステップ(z)が、回収された沈澱固体を、洗浄及び/又はイオン交換に付すステップをさらに含む、請求項1から4までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- ステップ(z)で得られた前記シリカ−アルミナ組成物を、乾燥及び/又は焼成するステップをさらに含む、請求項1から5までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- ステップ(z)で得られた前記シリカ−アルミナ組成物を噴霧乾燥するステップを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
