また、汚泥が好気槽から前記嫌気槽へ循環される部位におけるDOCが0.2mg/L以下とすることが好ましい。
また、上記中空糸膜エレメント間の間隔と前記中空糸膜エレメントの構成糸条である多孔性中空糸膜間の間隙の双方を、同時に不揃いにすることもできる。
すなわち、特許文献2における大きな間隔は、気液混合流の適度な上昇流を得て、エアスクラビング効果を奏しつつ、同時に膜面への汚濁物質の吸着を抑制しつつ、ろ過運転を円滑に行おうとするものである。

Claims (4)
- 嫌気槽と好気槽とを備え、前記好気槽には膜ろ過ユニットが浸漬され、排水を順次生物学的に処理して活性汚泥と処理水とに分離する活性汚泥処理装置であって、
前記嫌気槽と前記好気槽との間で活性汚泥を循環させる手段を備えるとともに、
前記膜ろ過ユニットは、
多数の多孔性中空糸を微細間隙をもって平行に並べて得られるシート状の複数枚の中空糸膜エレメントが、その多孔性中空糸を垂直方向に向けて所定の間隔をおいて平行に列設されてなる中空糸膜モジュールと、同中空糸膜モジュールの下方に配され、同モジュールの下端部に向けて微小な気泡を放出し、同中空糸膜モジュールの内部空間と外部空間との間で上下方向に旋回する気液混合流を発生させる微細気泡発生部とを備えてなり、
前記膜ろ過ユニットにおける中空糸膜モジュールの各中空糸膜エレメントが、該中空糸膜エレメントを構成する垂直に平行に並ぶ多孔性中空糸膜間の間隙が微小である第1間隙領域と、その第1間隙領域の間に配され、多孔性中空糸膜間の微小な間隙よりも広い間隙に形成された第2間隙領域とを有してなり、
前記中空糸膜モジュールの並列方向に隣接する複数の中空糸膜エレメント間の一部間隔が広く形成され、その一部間隔の気液混合流の下端導入口に邪魔部材が配されてなるものである、
ことを特徴とする活性汚泥処理装置。 - 前記好気槽から前記嫌気槽へ循環される部位におけるDOCが0.2mg/L以下である、請求項1記載の活性汚泥処理装置。
- 前記膜ろ過ユニットは、前記中空糸膜モジュールと前記微細気泡発生部の周辺を囲うようにして配され上下を開口させた壁材を有し、該壁材の下端には裾が広がって延在するスカート部を有してなることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の活性汚泥処理装置。
- 前記スカート部の水平方向の延在長さは1mm以上1000mm以下であり、同スカート部の前記壁材の下端から垂直下方に延びる鉛直線に対する傾斜角度は10°以上70°以下である請求項3記載の活性汚泥処理装置。
