Claims (3)
- 電池発電要素群が収納される容器と、
前記容器の壁部の一部が容器内側に落ち込んだ窪みである第1の凹部と、
前記第1の凹部の底面壁部の一部が容器内側に落ち込んだ窪みであって、該窪みの底面に電解液を注入するための開口が形成された第2の凹部と、
前記開口に挿入される栓部と前記第2の凹部の底面に載置される平板状のフランジ部とを有する封止栓と、を備え、
前記フランジ部は、該フランジ部の底面が前記第2の凹部の底面に当接するように載置され、該フランジ部の側周と前記第2の凹部の側周とが溶接されることによって前記開口が前記封止栓により封止され、
前記第1の凹部の深さは、前記フランジ部の側周と前記第2の凹部の側周との溶接部分が前記容器の外表面よりも突出しないような深さに設定されていることを特徴とする密閉型電池。 - 請求項1に記載の密閉型電池において
前記第2の凹部の深さ寸法および前記フランジ部の厚さ寸法は、前記容器の壁部の厚さ寸法よりも大きく設定されていることを特徴とする密閉型電池。 - 請求項1または2に記載の密閉型電池において
前記電池発電要素群は、捲回の軸に沿って扁平状に捲回された捲回群と、前記捲回群の両端に設けられて、厚さ方向寸法が前記捲回群の厚さ方向寸法よりも小さい集電部と、を備えた扁平状の電池発電要素群であって、
前記扁平状の電池発電要素群が収納される前記容器は扁平な直方体形状を成し、前記扁平状の電池発電要素群の厚さ方向に対向配置された壁部であって前記集電部が対向する領域に前記第1および第2の凹部が形成されていることを特徴とする密閉型電池。
