Description
前記プログラムされた彫刻プロセスが一つの有価証券紙のマスタ深さマップの三次元ガイドピクセルデータ(X,Y,Z)に従って前記未彫刻板を彫刻し、前記マスタ深さマップを少なくとも一つのコンピュータ格納初期深さマップにより生成し、前記初期深さマップは前記有価証券紙の少なくとも一部の三次元ラスタ画像を含み、かつ基本彫刻工程が各三次元ピクセルデータに連結されることを特徴とする。
イ)三次元線パターン、
ロ)三次元ラスタパターン、特にラスタ有価証券模様もしくは安全パターン、
ハ)複数のフラット面で構成される三次元要素、
ニ)低レリーフの三次元スキャンであってよい。
(a)三次元線パターン。例えば、複数の線はセグメント列または連で構成されてよい。各セグメントはそれ自体特定の長さ、幅、および深さを有する。図3aは異なる幅および深さを有する線の拡大部を示し、各セグメントの深さはその色、そしてスクリーン画像の白黒印刷内に灰色の影を伴う。図3bはコンピュータ処理による単一の三次元線パターンを示し、異なる幅および深さを有する。

Claims (17)
- 未彫刻板が、プログラムされた彫刻プロセスにより制御されるコンピュータ制御彫刻工具によってプログラムされた彫刻プロセスに基づいて彫刻される、有価証券紙の凹刻印刷用彫刻板を製造する方法において、
前記プログラムされた彫刻プロセスがマスタ深さマップの三次元ガイドピクセルデータ(X,Y,Z)に従ってピクセルごとに前記未彫刻板を彫刻し、該マスタ深さマップは前記未彫刻板をピクセルごとに彫刻するためにコンピュータ制御彫刻工具を案内するのに使用されるものであり、前記マスタ深さマップは少なくとも一つの、前記マスタ深さマップ内で繰り返されるコンピュータ格納初期深さマップに基づいて生成され、前記初期深さマップは一つの前記有価証券紙の少なくとも一部の三次元ラスタ画像からなることを特徴とする、彫刻板製造方法。 - 前記彫刻板は凹刻印刷版である、請求項1の彫刻板製造方法。
- 前記彫刻板は凹刻印刷版を製造するための先駆体の板である、請求項1の彫刻板製造方法。
- 前記彫刻板は金属板である、請求項1から3のいずれか1の彫刻板製造方法。
- 前記彫刻板はポリマー層を含み、かつ前記ポリマー層が彫刻される、請求項1から3のいずれか1の彫刻板製造方法。
- 前記彫刻板は、凹刻印刷版を製造するための先駆体の板であり、該先駆体の板は、
金属ベース、
接着剤層、および
ポリマー層を含む、請求項5の彫刻板製造方法。 - 前記ポリマー層は分散カーボンブラック含有ポリイミドである、請求項6の彫刻板製造方法。
- 前記彫刻工具はレーザ彫刻機である、請求項1から7のいずれか1の彫刻板製造方法。
- 前記彫刻工具はエキシマレーザまたはYAGレーザである、請求項1から8のいずれか1の彫刻板製造方法。
- 前記三次元ラスタ画像は、
i) 次のいずれか、またはそれらの組合せから選択される少なくとも一つの三次元要素を生成する工程、
イ)三次元線パターン、
ロ)三次元ラスタパターン、
ハ)フラット領域で構成される三次元要素、
ii)少なくとも一つの前記三次元要素を深さ情報を有する初期ファイルに組み入れる工程、
iii)前記初期ファイルを処理して三次元ラスタ画像を生成する工程
により生成される請求項1から9のいずれか1の彫刻板製造方法。 - 前記三次元線パターンは複数列のセグメントで形成され、各セグメントは特定長、幅、および深さを有する、請求項10の彫刻板製造方法。
- 前記三次元ラスタパターンは、彫刻の線形に従ってラスタパターンの各ピクセルの深さを決定するアルゴリズムによって処理されるコンピュータ設計図またはスキャンした手書き図から生成または作成されるコンピュータ模様である、請求項10の彫刻板製造方法。
- 前記マスタ深さマップは、行及び列のパターンに従って前記少なくとも一つの初期深さマップが彫刻板上に複数回反復された結果物であり、かつ前記彫刻板の平面における反復位置に関する情報を含む、請求項1から12のいずれか1の彫刻板製造方法。
- 前記マスタ深さマップは凹刻印刷時に有価証券紙の歪みを補償するための情報に従って発生するピクセルデータを含む、請求項13の彫刻板製造方法。
- 前記マスタ深さマップにより案内される複数の彫刻工具を含み、前記複数の彫刻工具は同期作動する、請求項1から14のいずれか1の彫刻板製造方法。
- 前記有価証券紙の各印刷紙は複数列の有価証券紙を担持し、印刷紙上にある複数の有価証券の列に対応する数の彫刻工具を含む、請求項15の彫刻板製造方法。
- 前記マスタ深さマップは彫刻時に一斉に生成される、請求項1から16のいずれか1の彫刻板製造方法。
