Description
の半径よりも大きい半径を描く位置となるように径方向にずらしたり、あるいは、内輪20のトラック溝22の曲率中心O2’を、継手軸心上に位置するときの半径よりも小さい
半径を描く位置となるように径方向にずらしたりすることにより、トラック溝12,22の軸方向中央部ですきまを詰めることができる。その結果、ガタ詰めが容易となって異音の発生を抑制することができる。

Claims (9)
- カップ部と、このカップ部の底部から軸方向に延びる軸部とを備えた固定式等速自在継手の外側継手部材であって、
機械構造用炭素鋼から成り、カップ部の内径面に、トラック溝と、内径球面部と、カップ部の開口縁全周に沿って形成されるカップ入口チャンファと、内径球面部とトラック溝との境界部に沿って形成されるトラックチャンファと、トラック溝のトラック入口端におけるボール接触点対応部位に設けられるボール食い込み緩和用の切欠アール部からなるトラック入口チャンファとを有し、トラック溝と、内径球面部と、カップ入口チャンファと、トラックチャンファと、トラック入口チャンファと、カップ部の外径面におけるブーツ取付部を除く部位と、軸部の端面のセンター穴とが冷間鍛造により仕上げられ、前記ボール食い込み緩和用の切欠アール部は、トラック溝毎に2箇所であることを特徴とする固定式等速自在継手の外側継手部材。 - 前記カップ部の内径球面部は、熱処理後の仕上げ加工が施されてなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の固定式等速自在継手の外側継手部材。
- 前記カップ部の内径球面部に軸方向に沿って延びるスリット溝が形成され、周方向に隣設するトラック溝間における内径球面部の最大幅寸法に対して、前記スリット溝の幅寸法を5%〜30%としたことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の固定式等速自在継手の外側継手部材。
- トラック溝と切欠きアール部とを同時冷間鍛造により仕上げていることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の固定式等速自在継手の外側継手部材。
- 前記トラックチャンファを凸アール形状としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の固定式等速自在継手の外側継手部材。
- トラック溝とトラックチャンファとを同時冷間鍛造により仕上げることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の固定式等速自在継手の外側継手部材。
- トラック溝の横断面形状を、ボールとアンギュラ接触するゴシックアーチ形状とし、その接触角を35°〜45°としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の固定式等速自在継手の外側継手部材。
- トラック溝の曲率中心とこのトラック溝に嵌合されるボールのボール中心とを結ぶ線と、ボール中心と内径球面部の曲率中心とを結ぶ線とが成す角度であるトラックオフセット角を5.5°〜7.5°としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項7のいずれか1項に記
載の固定式等速自在継手の外側継手部材。 - トラック溝の曲率中心を、継手軸心上に位置するときの半径よりも大きい半径を描く位置となるように径方向にずらしたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の固定式等速自在継手の外側継手部材。
