Claims (12)
- 入力信号を増幅する増幅器回路であって、
RF入力信号を受ける入力端子と出力端子とを有するAB級RF増幅器と、
入力端子と出力端子とを有するDC/DC変換器と、
前記AB級RF増幅器の出力端子と前記DC/DC変換器の入力端子との間に結合する正の電流フィードバック・ループと、
前記DC/DC変換器の出力端子と前記AB級RF増幅器の入力端子との間に結合する電圧フィードバック・ループと、
前記AB級RF増幅器の出力端子と前記DC/DC変換器の出力端子との間に並列に結合する抵抗負荷と、
を備え、
前記正の電流フィードバック・ループは入力端子及び出力端子を有する電流センサと、入力端子及び出力端子を有するパルス幅変調器とを備え、前記電流センサの入力端子は前記AB級RF増幅器の出力端子に結合し、前記電流センサの出力端子は前記パルス幅変調器の入力端子に結合し、前記パルス幅変調器の出力端子は前記DC/DC変換器の入力端子に結合し、前記電流センサは前記AB級RF増幅器の出力端子から流れ出る電流を表す誤差電圧を生成し、前記パルス幅変調器は前記誤差電圧に基づいて制御電圧を生成し、該生成された制御電圧を前記DC/DC変換器に入力することを特徴とする増幅器回路。 - 前記フィードバック・ループは、前記AB級RF増幅器の入力端子に結合する出力端子と、前記DC/DC変換器の出力に結合する反転入力端子と、前記RF入力信号を受ける非反転入力端子と、を有する差動演算増幅器を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の増幅器回路。
- 前記RF入力信号は包絡線信号であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の増幅器回路。
- 前記RF入力信号はCDMA信号から得られた包絡線信号であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の増幅器回路。
- RF入力信号を増幅する増幅器回路であって、
前記RF入力信号を受ける入力端子と出力端子とを有するRF増幅器と、
入力と出力とを有するDC対ベースバンドの切換え変換器と、
前記RF増幅器の出力と前記切換え変換器の入力との間に結合する正の電流フィードバック・ループと、
前記切換え変換器の出力端子と前記RF増幅器の入力端子との間に結合する電圧フィードバック・ループと、
前記RF増幅器の出力端子と前記切換え変換器の出力端子との間に並列に結合する抵抗負荷と、
を備え、
前記正の電流フィードバック・ループは入力端子及び出力端子を有する電流センサと、入力端子及び出力端子を有するパルス幅変調器とを備え、前記電流センサの入力端子は前記RF増幅器の出力端子に結合し、前記電流センサの出力端子は前記パルス幅変調器の入力端子に結合し、前記パルス幅変調器の出力端子は前記変換器の入力端子に結合し、前記電流センサは前記RF増幅器の出力端子から流れ出る電流を表す誤差電圧を生成し、前記パルス幅変調器は前記誤差電圧に基づいて制御電圧を生成し、該生成された制御電圧を前記変換器に入力することを特徴とする増幅器回路。 - 前記切換え変換器はDC対ベースバンドのRF切換え変換器を電流源として含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の増幅器回路。
- 前記パルス幅変調器はヒステリシス比較器回路を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の増幅器回路。
- 前記切換え変換器の入力端子は切換え制御入力端子を含み、前記パルス幅変調器の出力端子は前記切換え制御入力端子に結合する、ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の増幅器回路。
- 前記電圧フィードバック・ループは、前記RF増幅器とは逆関係に、前記切換え変換器がRF入力信号の1以上の低周波電流成分の電力増幅を行うような負のフィードバック・ループを備えることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の増幅器回路。
- 前記RF増幅器はAB級増幅器を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の増幅器回路。
- 前記切換え変換器はDC/DC変換器を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の増幅器回路。
- 前記RF増幅器は電圧源増幅器と前記切換え変換器とを含み、前記切換え変換器は電流源増幅器を含む、ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の増幅器回路。
