Description
前記S=O基を有する化合物は、環状サルファイト(sulfite)、飽和スルトン(sultone)、不飽和スルトン、及び非環状スルホン(sulfone)からなる群より選択される少なくとも1つの化合物である非水電解液を提供する。
エチレンカーボネイト(EC):エチルプロピオネート(EP)=3:7(体積比)の組成を持つ混合有機溶媒にLiPF6を1Mの濃度になるように溶解した後、前記溶媒にプロパンスルトンを3重量%になるように添加して非水電解液を製造した。
プロパンスルトンの代わりにエチレンサルファイトを添加したことを除き、実施例1と同様の方法で非水電解液及び電池を製造した。
エチレンカーボネイト(EC):プロピルプロピオネート(PP)=3:7(体積比)の組成を持つ混合有機溶媒にLiPF6を1Mの濃度になるように溶解した後、前記溶媒にプロパンスルトンを3重量%になるように添加して非水電解液を製造した。
プロパンスルトンの代わりにエチレンサルファイトを添加したことを除き、実施例3と同様の方法で非水電解液及び電池を製造した。
エチレンカーボネイト(EC):エチルプロピオネート(EP)=3:7(体積比)の組成を持つ混合有機溶媒にLiPF6を1Mの濃度になるように溶解して非水電解液を製造したことを除き、実施例1と同様の方法で電池を製造した。

実施例1〜4及び比較例1〜2で製造されたコイン電池を室温で電流率0.1Cで4.2Vまで定電流/定電圧条件で充電してから電流率0.1Cで3.0Vまで定電流条件で放電したことを初期充放電とし、このときの放電容量対比充電容量の比率を初期効率とする。初期充放電の後、同一電圧領域で0.5Cで充放電を100回実施し、初期放電容量対比容量保持率を下記表1に示した。
実施例1〜4及び比較例1〜2で製造されたコイン電池を室温で初期充放電した後、電流率0.5Cで充放電を5回実施し、電流率0.5Cで4.2Vまで充電してから−20℃の低温チャンバで電流率0.5Cで放電し、−20℃と室温とにおける0.5C放電容量の比を下記表1に示した。
実施例1〜4及び比較例1〜2で製造されたコイン電池を室温で初期充放電した後、(0.5C充電、0.5C放電)、(0.5C充電、1.0C放電)、(0.5C充電、1.5C放電)、(0.5C充電、2.0C放電)をそれぞれ3サイクルずつ繰り返した。初期放電容量対比容量保持率を下記表1に示した。
実施例1〜4及び比較例1〜2で製造されたコイン電池をそれぞれ4.2Vで充電し、1時間にかけて常温から65℃まで昇温させた後、65℃で24時間保持した。その後、65℃から1時間にかけて降温させた後、電池のOCV(open circuit voltage)の変化を測定し、その結果を下記表1に示した。
Claims (14)
- 正極と、負極と、前記正極と前記負極の間に介在されるセパレーターと、前記負極用バインダー及び非水電解液を備えてなる二次電池であって、
前記負極が、少なくとも1.5m2/gの比表面積を有してなり、
前記非水電解液が、
(i)S=O基を有する化合物と、
(ii)カーボネイトと、及び下記化学式1で示されるプロピオネート系エステル化合物を含む混合有機溶媒と、並びに、
R1がCH3CH2基であり、
R2がC1〜C6のアルキル基またはC1〜C6のハロアルキル基である。]
(iii)電解質塩とを含んでなるものであり、
前記S=O基を有する化合物が、環状サルファイト、飽和スルトン、不飽和スルトン、及び非環状スルホンからなる群より選択された少なくとも1つの物質であり、
前記負極用バインダーが、スチレンブタジエンラバー(SBR)であり、
前記S=O基を有する化合物が、初期充電時、前記カーボネイト及び前記化学式1のプロピオネート系エステル化合物より先に電極被膜を形成させる化合物であることを特徴とする、二次電池。 - 前記環状サルファイトが、エチレンサルファイト、メチルエチレンサルファイト、エチルエチレンサルファイト、4,5‐ジメチルエチレンサルファイト、4,5‐ジエチルエチレンサルファイト、プロピレンサルファイト、4,5‐ジメチルプロピレンサルファイト、4,5‐ジエチルプロピレンサルファイト、4,6‐ジメチルプロピレンサルファイト、4,6‐ジエチルプロピレンサルファイト、及び1,3‐ブチレングリコールサルファイトからなる群より選択される少なくとも1つの物質であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記飽和スルトンが、1,3‐プロパンスルトン及び1,4‐ブタンスルトンからなる群より選択される少なくとも1つの物質であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記不飽和スルトンが、エテンスルトン、1,3‐プロペンスルトン、1,4‐ブテンスルトン、及び1‐メチル‐1,3‐プロペンスルトンからなる群より選択される少なくとも1つの物質であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜7の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記非環状スルホンが、ジビニルスルホン、ジメチルスルホン、ジエチルスルホン、メチルエチルスルホン、及びメチルビニルスルホンからなる群より選択される少なくとも1つの物質であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記化学式1のプロピオネート系エステル化合物が、メチルプロピオネート、エチルプロピオネート、プロピルプロピオネート、及びブチルプロピオネートからなる群より選択される少なくとも1つの物質であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記化学式1のプロピオネート系エステル化合物が、非水電解液中に3〜80重量%含まれていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜10の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記S=O基を有する化合物が、非水電解液中に0.5〜5重量%含まれていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜11の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記カーボネイトが、環状カーボネイト及び線状カーボネイトからなる群より選択される少なくとも1つの物質であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜12の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記バインダーが、1.5ないし4.5m2/gの比表面積を持つ負極のための、SBRを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜13の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。
