Claims (2)
- 長手方向に沿ってボールの転走溝が複数形成された軌道レールと、前記転走溝と対向するボールの転走溝を有し、これら転走溝の間に配置されたボールを介して前記軌道レールの長手方向へ移動自在な移動ブロックと、を備えた転がり案内装置において、
互いに対向する軌道レール側の転走溝及び移動ブロック側の転走溝は、かかる転走溝の最深部に位置すると共にボール球面の曲率半径よりも大きな曲率半径で円弧状に形成された第一負荷領域と、この第一負荷領域の両側に隣接して設けられると共にボール球面の曲率半径よりも大きな曲率半径で円弧状に形成され、前記第一負荷領域に対して傾斜して設けられた一対の第二負荷領域とから構成され、
前記第一負荷領域の曲率半径と前記第二負荷領域の曲率半径は同一であり、前記第二負荷領域の曲率中心は、前記第一負荷領域及び第二負荷領域を同時にボールに接触させる場合の曲率中心の位置に比べ、かかる転走溝の被形成面の法線方向へオフセットされ、
前記移動ブロックと軌道レールとの間に荷重が作用していない状態ではボールが前記第一負荷領域にのみ接触し、前記第二負荷領域との間には隙間が形成される一方、
前記移動ブロックと軌道レールとの間に荷重が作用している状態ではボールが前記第一負荷領域と第二負荷領域の双方に接触していることを特徴とする転がり案内装置。 - 前記第二負荷領域に対するボールの接触点は、ボール中心に対し、前記第一負荷領域に対するボールの接触点と約45°の角度で配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の転がり案内装置。
