図1及び図2は参考例、図3及び図4は本発明を実施する形態の一例である。図1(A)(B)は外輪間口部を円筒カットした参考例を示す。詳しくは、外輪10はマウス部10aとこれに続くステム部(図示省略)とからなる。マウス部10aは一端にて開口した椀状で、その内周面は内球面12とされる。この内球面12に軸方向に延びる8本のボール溝14が円周方向に等間隔に形成してある。

Claims (1)
- 一端にて開口し内球面に軸方向に延びる8本のボール溝を形成した外輪と、外球面に軸方向に延びる8本のボール溝を形成した内輪と、対をなす外輪のボール溝と内輪のボール溝との間に組み込んだ8個のトルク伝達ボールと、外輪の内球面と内輪の外球面との間に介在してトルク伝達ボールを軸方向に保持するケージとを具備した固定式等速自在継手において、
外輪開口側で内球面に隣接するとともに、内球面に形成された隣り合うボール溝間にあって外輪開口の最小内径を形成する間口部のうち、いずれか一つ又は互いに対向するいずれか二つの間口部を、当該一つ又は二つの間口部を通して、前記ケージ軸線を外輪軸線に対して直交状態とし、且つ、外輪中心に対してケージ軸線方向にオフセットさせていない状態のケージの入れ込みを許容するのに必要な寸法分だけ前記最小内径から半径方向外方に後退させ、
前記半径方向外方に後退させた一つ又は二つの間口部を、外輪軸線と平行かつ外輪半径と垂直な平面にすると共に、ケージ外径面におけるボール保持窓の外縁の全周に対する隣接面のうち、ケージの入れ込みの際に前記半径方向外方に後退させた一つ又は二つの間口部を通る一つ又は二つの隣接面を、ケージ軸線と平行かつケージ半径と垂直な平面にした固定式等速自在継手。
