Abstract
【解決手段】内側から最内層2、中間ゴム層3、繊維補強層4及び外面ゴム層5の順で積層されてなる複合フレキシブルホースの前記中間ゴム層3などに好適なブチルゴム組成物であって、ハロゲン化ブチルゴム、スチレン−イソブチレン系ブロック共重合体、白色充填剤、白色補強剤、臭素化アルキルフェノールホルムアルデヒド樹脂、フェノール樹脂、及び、メチロールメラミンが配合され、前記ハロゲン化ブチルゴム100重量部に対して、前記スチレン−イソブチレン系ブロック共重合体が5〜45重量部配合される。

Description
図1は、本発明の実施形態に係る複合フレキシブルホースの斜視図であり、この複合フレキシブルホース1は、最内層2と中間ゴム層3の間に接着剤層を介在させておらず、中間ゴム層3の上に順に繊維補強層4及び外面ゴム層5を有するものである。中間ゴム層3には、本発明の一実施形態に係るブチルゴム組成物が使用される。
次に、実施形態1の実施例及び比較例に基づいて説明するが、本発明は、かかる実施例に限定されるものではない。
(常態物性)
実施例1〜5、比較例1,2の各ゴム組成物を用いてプレス加硫により約2mm厚のゴムシートをそれぞれ作製し、得られたゴムシートから切り出した試験片を用いて、硬さ、引張強度及び伸びの各試験を実施した。
硬さ(JIS−A)は、JIS K 6253−6に準拠してデュロメータータイプAにて測定し、引張強度 (MPa)及び伸び(%)は、JIS K 6251に準拠して測定した。
硬さは、79以下を「◎;優」、80〜82を「○;良」、83〜85を「△:可」、86以上を「×:不可」と評価した。
引張強度は、10.1以上を「◎;優」、9.6〜10を「○;良」、9.1〜9.5を「△:可」、9以下を「×:不可」と評価した。
(圧縮永久歪)
実施例1〜5、比較例1,2の各ゴム組成物を用いてJIS K 6262に準拠してプレス加硫により試験片をそれぞれ作製し、試験温度100℃,試験時間70h,圧縮率25%の条件で圧縮永久歪(%)を測定した。
圧縮永久歪は、40以下を「◎;優」、40〜49を「○;良」、50〜59を「△:可」、60以上を「×:不可」と評価した。
(耐透水性(水分バリア性))
水蒸気透過度 (g/m2/24h)
実施例1〜5、比較例1,2の各ゴム組成物を用いてプレス加硫により約1mm厚のゴムシートをそれぞれ作製した。JIS Z 0208を参考にして、既知重量の乾燥剤を封入したカップの開口部をゴムシートで密封後、試験温度60℃,試験湿度95%RH,試験時間168hの条件で水分バリア性を次のようにして測定した。そして、ゴムシートの透過面積に対する乾燥剤の重量変化(増加)分を24h当たりの水蒸気透過度として算出した。水蒸気透過度は、1.3以下を「◎;優」、1.4〜1.5を「○;良」、1.6〜1.7を「△:可」、1.8以上を「×:不可」と評価した。
(接着性)
約0.15mm厚の最内層樹脂(PA6)と、実施例1〜5、比較例1,2の約2mm厚の各未加硫ブチルゴムとをプレス加硫により積層シートをそれぞれ作製した。得られた積層シートから約10mm幅×約100mm長の寸法で切り出した試験片を作製し、図2に示すように、試験片のゴム層3を引張試験機に固定し、毎分50mmの速さで樹脂層2を引張り、接着界面の剥離状態を目視で観察した。ゴム凝集破壊したものを、「○;良」と評価した。
(押出成形性)
実施例1〜5、比較例1,2の各ゴム組成物を用いて押出機により約1.9mm厚のゴムチューブをそれぞれ押出成形し、表面肌の状態を目視で観察した。押出成形性は、チューブ表面に凹凸(肌荒れ)がない状態を「◎」、有害な肌荒れがない状態を「○」、有害な肌荒れがある状態を「△」、肌荒れがひどくて押出不可の状態を「×」と評価した。
本発明の他の実施形態に係るゴム組成物は、上記実施形態1のゴム組成物に、更に、ポリブテンを配合するものである。ポリブテンは、スチレン−イソブチレン系ブロック共重合体に比べて非常に安価(約1/3のコスト)であるので、ポリブテンを配合することによって、ゴム組成物のコストを低減することができる。また、ポリブテンは、イソブチレンブロックの分子構造を持つ軟化剤なので、水分の透過を抑制しつつ、未加硫時の粘度を下げて、押出成形性を向上させることができる。よって、実施形態2では、実施形態1に対して、コストと水分バリア性や押出成形性などの諸特性とのバランスを取ることを目的としている。
次に、実施形態2の実施例及び比較例に基づいて説明するが、本発明は、かかる実施例に限定されるものではない。

Claims (3)
- ハロゲン化ブチルゴム、スチレン−イソブチレン系ブロック共重合体、白色充填剤、白色補強剤、臭素化アルキルフェノールホルムアルデヒド樹脂、フェノール樹脂、及び、メチロールメラミンが配合され、
前記ハロゲン化ブチルゴム100重量部に対して、前記スチレン−イソブチレン系ブロック共重合体が5〜45重量部配合され、
前記白色充填剤が、タルク、マイカ、セリサイト、モンモリロナイト、及び、クレーからなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1つであり、
前記白色補強剤が、ケイ酸であることを特徴とするブチルゴム組成物。 - ポリブテンが更に配合され、
前記ハロゲン化ブチルゴム100重量部に対して、前記ポリブテンが5〜15重量部配合されることを特徴とする、
請求項1に記載のブチルゴム組成物。 - 前記請求項1又は2に記載のブチルゴム組成物を用いたゴム層を有する、
ことを特徴とするホース。
