Description
ブレーキ装置は、自動車のそれぞれの車輪の回転に抵抗する圧力を加える1組のブレーキと、自動車をロールオーバーさせようとする所定の力に応じてロールオーバー信号を生成するセンサーと、ロールオーバー信号に応じて所定のプログラムでブレーキを駆動する制御装置とを有している。
もし、センサー58が車輪の上昇の信号を発するリバウンドバンパー圧縮スイッチであれば、制御装置60は、前輪50または52を信号あるいは上昇された車輪42,44,46または48に対向して駆動する。自動車10をそのターンから離れてハンドル操作する能力を上げるために、制御装置60は、駆動されたブレーキ50,52,54または56のいずれかを開放したり駆動をとめたりすることもできる。
Claims (3)
- 一対の前輪と一対の後輪を含む車輪を有する自動車のブレーキ装置であって、該ブレーキ装置は、
それぞれの車輪の回転に抵抗する圧力を加える一対の前輪ブレーキと一対の後輪ブレーキを含む1組のブレーキと、
前記前輪の旋回外側車輪に加えられる第一の横方向の力と前記後輪の旋回外側車輪に加えられる第二の横方向の力により自動車がロールオーバーしようとする状況に応じてロールオーバー信号を生み出すセンサーと、
前記ロールオーバー信号に応じて、ヨーと横揺れ角を低減するように前記第一の横方向の力を小さくするように前記ブレーキを駆動する制御装置とを有し、
前記自動車をロールオーバーさせる力の臨界量よりも小さな所定量の力を検出すると、前記センサーは前記ロールオーバー信号を生成し、最大量のブレーキ圧を前記前輪の旋回外側車輪に加えることを
