Description
本発明は薬剤注入装置に関する。特に、本発明は薬剤の2つの成分を混合し、この混合薬剤を注射部位に注入することができる自動注射器アッセンブリーに関する。

Claims (20)
- 薬剤を予め充填し、作動させることによりこの薬剤を自動的に自己投与するための自動注射器であって:
ハウジングと;
該ハウジング内に設けられた薬剤チャンバーであって、該薬剤チャンバーは、第1の区域と第2の区域を有しており、前記第1の区域は第1の薬剤部分を収容し、前記第2の区域は、前記第1の薬剤部分と混合される第2の薬剤部分を収容する薬剤チャンバーと;
前記第1の区域と前記第2の区域との間に設けられた封止機構であって、当初において前記第2の区域から第1の区域を分離して保持するような封止状態にあり、前記注射器の作動により混合状態に変換するようになっている封止機構と;
前記薬剤チャンバーからの充填薬剤を投薬する針アッセンブリーであって、該針アッセンブリーが、針と針支持体とを具備してなり、該針支持体は、前記薬剤チャンバーに前記針アッセンブリーを装着するためのものであり、前記針支持体は、前記薬剤チャンバーと流体が連通するような後方開口部を有する針アッセンブリーチャンバーを画成し、前記後方開口部は、前記薬剤チャンバーから前記後方開口部まで流体が通過して流れるような最小径の開口部を有しており、前記針アッセンブリーチャンバーが、前記針の後方端部に向けて軸方向前方に延出するに従って、径方向内側に先細になる内壁面を有し、前記針支持体が前記針アッセンブリーチャンバーを前記針に接続する、前記針の外径より細い径の通路を有しており、前記針アッセンブリーチャンバーの前記内壁面は、前記通路に接続された状態で前記通路の直径と等しい直径を有する前記針アッセンブリーと;
前記ハウジング内に配置された作動アッセンブリーであって、前記作動アッセンブリーの作動により、(1)前記封止機構が前記封止状態から前記混合状態に変換され、(2)前記第1及び前記第2の薬剤部分を混合させ、(3)混合した前記第1及び第2の薬剤部分が針アッセンブリーを介して強制的に押し出されるようにした作動アッセンブリーと;
を具備することを特徴とする自動注射器。 - 前記第1の薬剤部分は、乾燥薬剤部分であり、前記第2の薬剤部分は、湿潤薬剤部分である請求項1に記載の自動注射器。
- 前記薬剤チャンバーと、前記針アッセンブリーとの間に配置されたフィルターをさらに備える請求項1に記載の自動注射器。
- 前記通路は、前記針の外径よりも狭い直径を有する請求項1に記載の自動注射器。
- 前記針の後方部分が前記針アッセンブリーチャンバー内に突出していない請求項1に記載の自動注射器。
- 前記針アッセンブリーチャンバーが実質的に半球状の形状又は漏斗状の形状を有する請求項1に記載の自動注射器。
- 前記針アッセンブリー近傍の前記薬剤チャンバーの前方端部に装着されたインサートをさらに備え、該インサートは、軸方向前方に延出するに従って径方向内側に向けて先細になったテーパー状流路を画成している請求項1に記載の自動注射器。
- 前記針アッセンブリーチャンバーは、前記インサートの前方開口部と少なくとも同じ大きさの拡大した後方端開口部を有する請求項7に記載の自動注射器。
- 前記針アッセンブリーは、前記針を囲み、前記針支持体の前方端部を受け入れるニードルシースをさらに備える請求項1に記載の自動注射器。
- 前記薬剤チャンバーは、該薬剤チャンバーの前方端部の周りにおいて環状溝を有しており、前記薬剤チャンバーは、該薬剤チャンバーの前方端部に開口形状を有しており、前記針支持体は、前記薬剤チャンバーの周りの環状溝にスナップ嵌めするような大きさ及び形状の環状リブと、狭小前方端部とを有し、該狭小前方端部は、前記針の後方端部を封止するように受け入れ、前記針支持体は、前記薬剤チャンバーから前記針までの封止された流路を形成しており、前記封止流路は、前記薬剤チャンバーの前方端部における前記開口形状の部分から前記針までの方向に沿って、一定に維持された直径、又は減少した直径を有する請求項1に記載の自動注射器。
- 前記針支持体は、前記薬剤チャンバーの周りの環状溝にスナップ嵌めするように作用する弾性プラスチック材料又はゴム状封止部を有する金属材料からなる請求項10に記載の自動注射器。
- 前記薬剤チャンバーは、
前記薬剤チャンバーの前方端部に狭小首部と、
前記薬剤チャンバーの前記前方端部に環状フランジ部と、をさらに備えており、
前記針アッセンブリーは、
前記針支持体の後方端部に、環状フランジと、
該環状フランジを囲む環状封止部材であって、該環状封止部材は、環状側面と前面とを有しており、該前面が、針支持体の部分が延在して通過する開口部を有した環状封止部材と、
該環状封止部材の前記環状側面と前記前面とに嵌合しかつこれらを覆う大きさ及び形状の保持クランプであって、前記薬剤チャンバーの環状フランジ部に対して、前記環状封止部材を封止するようにクランプするための前記狭小首部の周りにスナップ嵌めされ、かつ、前記薬剤チャンバーの前記環状フランジ部を覆うように嵌合する大きさ及び形状である保持クランプと、
をさらに備える請求項1に記載の自動注射器。 - 前記針アッセンブリーは、前記環状封止部材によって、前記針支持体の後方端部を覆ように封止するフィルターをさらに備える請求項12に記載の自動注射器。
- 薬剤の充填を含む自動注射器の組み立て方法であって、
薬剤チャンバーを、第1の区域と第2の区域とに分割するように、前記薬剤チャンバー内に封止機構を挿入することと;
前記第2の区域内に、湿潤薬剤部分を充填することと;
前記第1の区域内に、乾燥薬剤部分を充填することと;
針アッセンブリーが、針と針支持体とを具備してなり、該針支持体は、前記薬剤チャンバーと流体が連通するような後方開口部を有する針アッセンブリーチャンバーを画成し、前記後方開口部は、前記薬剤チャンバーから前記後方開口部まで流体が通過して流れるような最小径の開口部を有しており、前記針アッセンブリーチャンバーが、前記針の後方端部に向けて軸方向前方に延出するに従って、径方向内側に先細になる内壁面を有し、前記針支持体が前記針アッセンブリーチャンバーに前記針を接続する、前記針の外径より細い径の通路を有しており、前記針アッセンブリーチャンバーの前記内壁面は、前記通路に接続されると前記通路の直径と等しい直径を有する前記針アッセンブリーを、前記薬剤チャンバーの前方端部に取り付けることと;及び
ハウジング内に前記針アッセンブリーと前記チャンバーとを配置することと;
を含むことを特徴とする自動注射器の組み立て方法。 - 前記針支持体の後方端部を覆うようにフィルターを取り付けることをさらに含む請求項14に記載の自動注射器の組み立て方法。
- 前記通路は、前記針の外径よりも狭い直径を有する請求項14に記載の自動注射器の組み立て方法。
- 前記針の後方部分が前記針アッセンブリーチャンバー内に突出していない請求項14に記載の自動注射器の組み立て方法。
- 前記針アッセンブリーチャンバーが実質的に半球状の形状又は漏斗状の形状を有する請求項14に記載の自動注射器の組み立て方法。
- 前記針アッセンブリーを前記薬剤チャンバーの前方端部に取り付けることは、前記薬剤チャンバーの前方端部の周りに溝に、前記針支持体上の環状リブをスナップ嵌めすることを含む請求項14に記載の自動注射器の組み立て方法。
- ニードルシースで前記針を囲むと共に前記ニードルシース内に前記針支持体の前方端部を挿入することをさらに含む請求項14に記載の自動注射器の組み立て方法。
