なお、アルキル基R1,R2,R3は、互いに異なっていてもよい。
比較例1として、ホウ素アルコキシドを添加しない非水電解液を用いたボタン型のリチウムイオン二次電池(比較電池Z)と、ホウ素メトキシド(B(OCH3)3)を1.0重量%添加した非水電解液を用いたボタン型のリチウムイオン二次電池(比較電池W)と、ホウ素イソプロポキシド(B(OCH(CH3)2)3)を1.0重量%添加した非水電解液を用いたボタン型のリチウムイオン二次電池(比較電池X)と、ホウ素n−ブトキシド(B(OC4H9)3)を1.0重量%添加した非水電解液を用いたボタン型のリチウムイオン二次電池(比較電池Y)とを、これ以外は実施例1と同様に作製した。
作製した実施例1及び比較例1の各電池の充放電試験を行った。
表1に、実施例1及び比較例1の各電池と、その添加したホウ素アルコキシド(ホウ素エトキシド,ホウ素メトキシド,ホウ素イソプロポキシド,ホウ素n−ブトキシド)の種類と添加量、及び1サイクル目の放電容量に対する20サイクル後の放電容量の比率をそれぞれ示す。
比較例2として、リン酸トリエチル0.5重量%のみを加えた非水電解液を用いたボタン型のリチウムイオン二次電池(比較電池V)を、これ以外は実施例2と同様に作製した。

Claims (6)
- 金属リチウム基準で4.5V以上の電位を発現する正極活物質を有する正極と、負極と、リチウム塩を非水溶媒に溶解した非水電解液と、を有するリチウムイオン二次電池であって、
前記非水溶媒が、環状カーボネートと鎖状カーボネートとを有し、前記非水電解液に、〔式1〕に示す物質を有することを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。
〔式1〕 B(OR1)(OR2)(OR3)
(ただし、R1,R2,R3は、炭素数2のアルキル基であり、Bはホウ素、Oは酸素である。) - 請求項1記載のリチウムイオン二次電池において、
前記〔式1〕に示す物質が、ホウ素アルコキシドであることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。 - 請求項1記載のリチウムイオン二次電池において、
前記環状カーボネートとして、エチレンカーボネートを有し、前記鎖状カーボネートとして、ジメチルカーボネートおよび/またはメチルエチカーボネートを有することを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。 - 請求項1記載のリチウムイオン二次電池において、
前記〔式1〕に示す物質のアルコキシ基R1,R2,R3の炭素数が2であることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。 - 請求項2記載のリチウムイオン二次電池において、
前記ホウ素アルコキシドが、ホウ素エトキシドであることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。 - 請求項5記載のリチウムイオン二次電池において、
前記ホウ素エトキシドが、前記非水電解液に0.2重量%以上4.0重量%以下で含有されることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。
