Claims (4)
- 直流電源から負荷への電力供給経路に直列に接続されオン/オフ動作により負荷に流れる電流を制御する第1半導体素子を有する負荷駆動回路において、
前記第1半導体素子のオン/オフを制御するためのPWM信号を生成するPWM信号生成部と、
前記PWM信号生成部により生成されたPWM信号に基づき前記第1半導体素子を駆動する駆動回路と、
前記第1半導体素子及び前記負荷に直列接続され、前記負荷に流れる電流を検出するための半導体により形成された第1抵抗と、
周囲の温度環境の変化に影響されることなく前記第1抵抗に流れる電流に応じたモニター電流を出力する電流検出部と、
前記電流検出部により出力されたモニター電流をモニター電圧に変換して出力する第2抵抗と、
前記第2抵抗により出力されたモニター電圧を平滑化する積分器と、
周囲の温度環境の変化に影響されることなく一定の電流を出力する電流源と、
前記電流源により出力された電流に基づき基準電圧を出力する第3抵抗と、
前記第3抵抗により出力された基準電圧を基準とし、前記積分器により平滑化されたモニター電圧をA/D変換して前記負荷に流れる電流の検出電流値を出力するA/D変換器とを備え、
前記PWM信号生成部は、目標とする電流値と前記A/D変換器により出力された検出電流値とに基づき、前記負荷に目標とする電流が流れるように前記PWM信号を調整することを特徴とする負荷駆動回路。 - 前記第2抵抗と前記第3抵抗とは、温度に対する抵抗値変化の割合を示す温度係数が同一であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の負荷駆動回路。
- 前記第2抵抗と前記第3抵抗とは、同一の材質且つ同一のサイズで形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の負荷駆動回路。
- 前記A/D変換器は、前記電流源により出力された電流に対して重み付けするD/A変換器を有し、
前記第3抵抗は、前記D/A変換器により重み付けされた電流を電圧に変換して基準電圧として出力し、
前記A/D変換器は、更に、前記基準電圧と前記積分器により平滑化されたモニター電圧とを比較するための比較器と、前記基準電圧と前記モニター電圧とが等しくなるように前記D/A変換器のビットを制御するためのロジックとを有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の負荷駆動回路。
