Claims (40)
- 特有の色を有する光を選択的に反射するように構成された少なくとも一つの光干渉変調器であって、第一のスペクトルピークによって特徴づけられたスペクトル応答を有する前記変調器と、
第二のスペクトルピークによって特徴づけられたスペクトル応答を有する少なくとも一つのカラーフィルターであって、前記選択的反射光をフィルター処理して第三のスペクトルピークによって特徴づけられた光を出力するように構成された前記フィルターとを備えており、
前記第二のスペクトルピークが前記第一のスペクトルピークのスペクトル幅よりも狭いスペクトル幅を有しており、
前記第三のスペクトルピークが、前記第一のスペクトルピークのスペクトル幅よりも狭いスペクトル幅を有しており、
前記第三のスペクトルピークが、前記第一のスペクトルピークと前記第二のスペクトルピークからシフトしている、ディスプレイ。 - 前記フィルターが吸収フィルターを備えている、請求項1のディスプレイ。
- 前記フィルターが干渉フィルターを備えている、請求項1のディスプレイ。
- 前記少なくとも一つの光干渉変調器が、赤色光を出力するように構成された光干渉変調器と、緑色光を出力するように構成された光干渉変調器と、青色光を出力するように構成された光干渉変調器とを備えている、請求項1のディスプレイ。
- 前記第三のスペクトルピークのスペクトル幅が前記第二のスペクトルピークのスペクトル幅よりも狭い、請求項1のディスプレイ。
- 前記第一のスペクトルピークのスペクトル幅が半値において前記第一のスペクトルピークの波長の範囲であり、前記第二のスペクトルピークのスペクトル幅が半値において前記第二のスペクトルピークの波長の範囲であり、前記第三のスペクトルピークのスペクトル幅が半値において前記第三のスペクトルピークの波長の範囲である、請求項1のディスプレイ。
- 前記少なくとも一つの光干渉変調器と電気的通信状態にあるプロセッサーであって、画像データを処理するように構成された前記プロセッサーと、
前記プロセッサーと電気的通信状態にあるメモリーデバイスとをさらに備えている、請求項1のディスプレイ。 - 前記少なくとも一つの光干渉変調器に少なくとも一つの信号を送るように構成されたドライバー回路をさらに備えている、請求項7のディスプレイ。
- 前記ドライバー回路に前記画像データの少なくとも一部を送るように構成されたコントローラーをさらに備えている、請求項8のディスプレイ。
- 前記画像データを前記プロセッサーに送るように構成された像源モジュールをさらに備えている、請求項7のディスプレイ。
- 前記像源モジュールがレシーバーとトランシーバーとトランスミッターの少なくとも一つを備えている、請求項10のディスプレイ。

第二のスペクトルピークによって特徴づけられたスペクトル応答を有する少なくとも一つのカラーフィルターであって、前記選択的反射光をフィルター処理して第三のスペクトルピークによって特徴づけられた光を出力するように構成された前記フィルターを形成し、
前記第二のスペクトルピークが前記第一のスペクトルピークのスペクトル幅よりも狭いスペクトル幅を有しており、
前記第三のスペクトルピークが前記第一のスペクトルピークのスペクトル幅よりも狭いスペクトル幅を有しており、
前記第三のスペクトルピークが、前記第一のスペクトルピークと前記第二のスペクトルピークからシフトしている、ディスプレイを作る方法。 - 前記フィルターが吸収フィルターを備えている、請求項13の方法。

前記第二のスペクトルピークが前記第一のスペクトルピークのスペクトル幅よりも狭いスペクトル幅を有しており、
前記第三のスペクトルピークが前記第一のスペクトルピークのスペクトル幅よりも狭いスペクトル幅を有しており、
前記第三のスペクトルピークが、前記第一のスペクトルピークと前記第二のスペクトルピークからシフトしている、ディスプレイ。 - 光を光干渉変調するための前記手段が、少なくとも一つの光干渉変調器を備えている、請求項20のディスプレイ。
- 前記フィルター手段が、赤色光と緑色光と青色光とを選択的にフィルター処理し透過するための手段を備えている、請求項20のディスプレイ。

- 前記可動反射的表面は第一の電極と関連づけられており、前記部分的反射的表面は第二の電極と関連づけられており、前記可動反射的表面は、前記第一および第二の電極の間に印加される電位差に応じて移動されるように構成されている、請求項29のディスプレイ。
- 前記ディスプレイが、一つ以上の光干渉変調器の反射状態を変更することによって周辺光を選択的に反射することによって画像を形成するように構成されている、請求項1のディスプレイ。

- 前記ディスプレイが、光を光干渉変調するための前記手段の反射状態を変更することによって周辺光を選択的に反射することによって画像を形成するように構成されている、請求項20のディスプレイ。
- 前記可動反射的表面と前記部分的反射的表面によって反射された光が、ディスプレイ上に視認可能な画像の一部を形成するように変調されることが可能であるように、前記可動反射的表面を駆動するように構成された電子機器をさらに備えている、請求項34のディスプレイ。
- 周辺光を光干渉変調するための前記手段は、複数の光干渉変調器に含まれており、各光干渉変調器は、それぞれの制御電圧を、対応する第一および第二の電極の間に受けて可動反射表面を移動させるように構成されており、前記複数の光干渉変調器は、前記複数の光干渉変調器の一つ以上のそれぞれの第一および第二の電極の間に一つ以上の制御電圧を選択的に印加することに応じて画像を表示するように構成されている、請求項37のディスプレイ。
