Description
実施例1では、歪み測定試験によって判定した場合の、事前照射処理を伴うまたは伴わない本発明によるブチルゴム/SBR製シリンジストッパーのオートクレーブ処理の利用可能性を立証する比較に基づく実施例を示す。試験目的は、シリンジにおける封止度を、ストッパー−外筒の干渉、すなわち、ストッパーとシリンジ外筒内壁との間の物理的接触によって生じる摩擦力の度合いの関数として定量化すること、ならびに組み立て前の歪み率および時間経過に伴う歪み率の低下を測定すること、次いでこれらの測定値をストッパー漏洩試験の結果と相互に関連させることによって、シリンジがその貯蔵寿命の間封止を維持する能力を判定することである。
群1:対照群−照射またはオートクレーブ滅菌を受けていない、ブロモブチルゴムとスチレン−ブタジエンコポリマーから調製したシリンジおよびストッパー(Helvoet Pharma製)、
群2:オートクレーブ滅菌のみ、および
群3:オートクレーブ滅菌に先立って本発明の方法により照射
また、Micro−Vu測定装置、ダイアルボアゲージ、シリンジのプランジャーを保持するためのストッパー保持ピン、およびシリンジ外筒を保持するためのv−ブロックを準備した。
平均=(0°測定値+90°測定値)/2
を使用して計算した。
干渉=ストッパーOD−外筒ID
%歪み=(干渉/ストッパーOD)×100
を使用して計算した。
実施例2では、ハンドブレークルーズ(Hand Breakloose)試験によって判定した場合の、事前照射処理を伴うまたは伴わない本発明によるブチルゴム/SBR製シリンジストッパーのオートクレーブ処理の利用可能性を立証する比較に基づく実施例を示す。この試験は、ブチルゴム/SBRストッパーの封止材特性を試験するために実施した。
実施例3では、加圧漏洩試験によって判定した場合の、事前照射処理を伴うまたは伴わない本発明によるブチルゴム/SBR製シリンジストッパーのオートクレーブ処理の利用可能性を立証する比較に基づく実施例を示す。この試験は、組み立てた充填済みシリンジのゴムストッパーシールを通過する流体漏洩について試験するために実施した。
実施例4では、染料漏洩試験によって判定した場合の、事前照射処理を伴うまたは伴わない本発明によるブチルゴム/SBR製シリンジストッパーのオートクレーブ処理の利用可能性を立証する比較に基づく実施例を示す。この試験は、シリンジサンプルの外筒とチップキャップの界面での封止を試験するために実施した。
Claims (20)
- ゴム物品の滅菌方法であって、
a)ブチルゴムおよび組成物総重量を基準にして5重量%から50重量%のエラストマー性コポリマーを含有する組成物から調製されるゴム物品をイオン化放射線により照射するステップ、ならびに
b)照射された該ゴム物品を、該ゴム物品を滅菌するのに十分な時間、水蒸気を含む滅菌ガスに曝露するステップ、
を含むことを特徴とする滅菌方法。 - 容器の滅菌方法であって、
a)組み立てられた又は組み立てられていない容器本体、およびブチルゴムおよび組成物総重量を基準にして5重量%から50重量%のエラストマー性コポリマーを含有する組成物から調製されたゴム蓋材を含む容器をイオン化放射線により照射するステップ、ならびに
b)照射された該容器およびゴム蓋材を、該容器およびゴム蓋材を滅菌するのに十分な時間、水蒸気を含む滅菌ガスに曝露するステップ、
を含むことを特徴とする滅菌方法。 - 充填済み容器の滅菌方法であって、
a)容器本体、ブチルゴムおよび組成物総重量を基準にして5重量%から50重量%のエラストマー性コポリマーを含有する組成物から調製されたゴム蓋材、およびその中に含まれた流動性媒体を含む充填済み容器をイオン化放射線により照射するステップ、ならびに
b)照射された該充填済み容器を、該充填済み容器を滅菌するのに十分な時間、水蒸気を含む滅菌ガスに曝露するステップ、
を含むことを特徴とする滅菌方法。 - 前記ゴム物品は、ゴム蓋材であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ゴム物品は、ストッパーであることを特徴とする請求項1または4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記ゴム物品は、シリンジチップストッパーであることを特徴とする請求項1または4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記ブチルゴムは、ブロモブチルゴムおよびクロロブチルゴムからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1、2または3に記載の方法。
- 前記エラストマー性コポリマーは、スチレン−ブタジエンコポリマー(SBS)、スチレン−イソプレンコポリマー(SIS)、およびスチレン−イソプレン/ブタジエンコポリマー(SIBS)からなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1、2または3に記載の方法。
- 前記エラストマー性コポリマーは、スチレン−ブタジエンコポリマーであることを特徴とする請求項1、2または3に記載の方法。
- 前記スチレン−ブタジエンコポリマー中のスチレンの百分率は、コポリマーの総重量を基準にして20%から50%の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記スチレン−ブタジエンコポリマーは、部分的に水素化されていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物は、架橋剤をさらに含有することを特徴とする請求項1、2または3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 照射に先立って前記組成物を化学的に架橋するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1、2または3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記組成物は、酸化防止剤および無機補強剤からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種の配合剤をさらに含有することを特徴とする請求項1、2または3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 照射された前記ゴム物品が前記滅菌ガスに曝露される前記時間は、30から40分の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1、2または3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記滅菌ガスの温度は、120℃から130℃の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1、2または3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- ステップ(b)において、照射された前記ゴム組成物は、15psi(103.4kPa)から30psi(206.8kPa)の圧力で前記滅菌ガスに曝露されることを特徴とする請求項1、2または3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記滅菌ガスは、少なくとも120℃の温度であり、かつ照射された前記ゴム組成物は、15psi(103.4kPa)の圧力の滅菌ガスに、少なくとも30分間曝露されることを特徴とする請求項1、2または3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記イオン化放射線は、ガンマ放射線であることを特徴とする請求項1、2または3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記ゴム組成物は、10kGyから60kGyの範囲の線量で照射されることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の方法。
