Description
(A)誘電体セラミック原料の作製
誘電体セラミック原料を作製するにあたり、BaTiO3、Dy2O3、MnCO3、MgCO3、SiO2、BaCO3、および(Ba0.96Dy0.04)(Ti0.97Mg0.03)O3の各粉末を準備した。なお、BaTiO3粉末については、SEM観察による平均粒子径が195nmのものを準備し、(Ba0.94Dy0.06)(Ti0.97Mg0.03)O3粉末については、SEM観察による平均粒子径が333nmのものを準備した。
上記誘電体セラミック原料粉末に、ポリビニルブチラール系バインダおよびエタノールなどの有機溶剤を加えて、ボールミルにより湿式混合し、セラミックスラリーを作製した。
得られた各試料に係る積層セラミックコンデンサにつき、任意のセラミック断面研磨面において、TEM‐EDXによりDyとMgのマッピング分析を行なった。この分析おいて、分析領域は少なくとも100個の結晶粒子が入るようにし、ビームスポット径を1nmとし、積算回数を0.5msec/pointで30回とした。
得られた各試料に係る積層セラミックコンデンサにつき、表1に示すように、誘電率、温度特性、加速寿命およびBDVを評価した。
(1)準備したBaTiO3粉末のSEM観察による平均粒子径および(Ba0.96Dy0.04)(Ti0.97Mg0.03)O3粉末のSEM観察による平均粒子径を、それぞれ、表2の「BaTiO3粉末/平均粒子径」および「(Ba0.96Dy0.04)(Ti0.97Mg0.03)O3粉末/平均粒子径」の各欄に示すように変えたこと、ならびに、
(2)(Ba0.94Dy0.06)(Ti0.97Mg0.03)O3の、BaTiO3に対する混合比率(表1の「(Ba0.94Dy0.06)(Ti0.97Mg0.03)O3粉末/混合比率」に相当)を95:5に固定したこと
を除いて、実験例1と同様の条件にて、試料となる積層セラミックコンデンサを作製し、実験例1の場合と同様に評価した。評価結果が表2に示されている。

Claims (2)
- BaTiO 3 を主成分とし、副成分として、R(Rは、La、Ce、Pr、Nd、Sm、Eu、Gd、Tb、Dy、Ho、Er、Tm、YbおよびLuから選ばれる少なくとも1種である。)およびMgを含む、誘電体セラミックであって、
前記副成分が表層部分に固溶し、前記副成分が存在しない領域が中心部にある、コアシェル構造を有するコアシェル結晶粒子と、前記副成分が結晶粒子全体にほぼ均一に固溶した、均一系の構造を有する均一系結晶粒子とを備え、
前記コアシェル結晶粒子と前記均一系結晶粒子とが、91:9〜99:1の範囲の面積比率で存在しており、
前記コアシェル結晶粒子の平均粒子径をR1、前記均一系結晶粒子の平均粒子径をR2としたとき、R2/R1の比率が0.8以上かつ3以下である、
誘電体セラミック。 - 積層された複数の誘電体セラミック層、および前記誘電体セラミック層間の特定の界面に沿って形成された複数の内部電極をもって構成される、コンデンサ本体と、
前記コンデンサ本体の外表面上の互いに異なる位置に形成され、かつ前記内部電極の特定のものに電気的に接続される、複数の外部電極と
を備え、
前記誘電体セラミック層は、請求項1に記載の誘電体セラミックからなる、
積層セラミックコンデンサ。
