Claims (20)
- 作動室を形成する圧力チューブと、
前記圧力チューブを貫通して前記作動室内に伸びるピストンロッドと、
前記圧力チューブ内にスライド可能に配置されるとともに前記ピストンロッドに接続されたピストンであって、複数の圧縮流体通路と複数のリバウンド流体通路とを形成し、前記作動室を上部作動室と下部作動室とに分割するピストンと、
前記ピストンに付設されたバルブであって、第1の流体圧力が作用すると前記下部作動室から前記上部作動室へ流体が流れることを許容する圧縮バルブと、
前記ピストンに付設されたバルブであって、前記第1の流体圧力よりも大きい第2の流体圧力が作用すると前記上部作動室から前記下部作動室へ流体が流れることを許容するリバウンドバルブと、
前記圧力チューブを取り囲んでリザーブ室を形成するリザーブチューブと、
前記上部作動室,前記下部作動室および前記リザーブ室に直接に連通する、前記ピストンから分離した単一のバルブアセンブリであって、前記上部作動室から前記リザーブ室への流れを制御するための第1の可変オリフィスを備えた第1の流路と、前記下部作動室から前記リザーブ室への流れを制御するための第2の可変オリフィスを備えた第2の流路とを形成する、バルブアセンブリと、
前記第1の流路と前記第2の流路との間に配置されたシャトルバルブであって、前記上部作動室から前記第2の流路への流れは許容し、前記第2の流路から前記上部作動室への流れは阻止する、シャトルバルブと、を備え、
前記第1の流路は、前記上部作動室から前記リザーブ室への流れの唯一の流路である、
ことを特徴とする、調節可能なショックアブソーバ。 - 前記バルブアセンブリは、前記第1の可変オリフィスを制御する手段を有するソレノイドバルブを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記第1の可変オリフィスを制御する前記手段がスプールバルブを有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記ソレノイドバルブが前記第2の可変オリフィスを制御する手段を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記第1および第2の可変オリフィスを制御する前記手段がスプールバルブを含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記バルブアセンブリが、前記上部作動室に連通する第1ポペットバルブを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記バルブアセンブリが、前記下部作動室に連通する第2ポペットバルブを含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記第1ポペットバルブが前記リザーブ室に連通することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記バルブアセンブリが、前記第1の可変オリフィスを制御する手段を有するソレノイドバルブを含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記第1の可変オリフィスを制御する前記手段がスプールバルブを含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記下部作動室と前記リザーブ室との間に配置され、前記リザーブ室から前記下部作動室への流体の流れを制御する一方、前記下部作動室から前記リザーブ室への流体の流れは阻止する、ベースバルブアセンブリを更に備える、ことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記リバウンドバルブはブローオフバルブであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記第1ポペットバルブが前記リザーブ室に連通することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記バルブアセンブリが、前記第1の可変オリフィスを制御する手段を有するソレノイドバルブを含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記第1の可変オリフィスを制御する前記手段がスプールバルブを含むことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記下部作動室と前記リザーブ室との間にベースバルブアセンブリが配置され、該ベースバルブアセンブリは、前記リザーブ室から前記下部作動室への流体の流れを制御する一方、前記下部作動室から前記リザーブ室への流体の流れは阻止する、ことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記第1の可変オリフィスが前記下部作動室に連通することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記第2の可変オリフィスが前記上部作動室に連通することを特徴とする請求項17に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記第1および第2の可変オリフィスが前記リザーブ室に連通することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
- 前記第1ポペットバルブが前記リザーブ室に連通し、前記ブローオフバルブは前記上部作動室に連通する、ことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の調節可能なショックアブソーバ。
