Description
まず、図1〜3を併せて用いて、第1実施形態に係るストラット式サスペンション1の構成について説明する。図1は、ストラット式サスペンション1の概要構成を示す断面図である。図2は、ストラット式サスペンション1の要部を示す断面図である。また、図3は、ストラット式サスペンション1の軸受部20の拡大断面図である。なお、図1に示される車輪100は、転舵輪となる前輪である。
Claims (4)
- ストラットを構成するショックアブソーバと、該ショックアブソーバの周囲に配置されたコイルスプリングを回動自在に車体に取り付ける軸受部とを備えるストラット式サスペンションにおいて、
前記ショックアブソーバのアブソーバ軸と前記軸受部の回転軸とが異なり、かつ、車幅方向において、前記アブソーバ軸に対して前記回転軸が成す角度が前記アブソーバ軸に対してキングピン軸が成す角度よりも小さくなるように、さらに、前記回転軸と前記キングピン軸との角度が2〜8度の範囲となるように、前記軸受部は、車幅方向に沿って前記アブソーバ軸方向の厚みが変化する内輪および外輪を含む軸受けを有し、前記内輪は車体外側の厚みが車体内側の厚みよりも厚く、前記外輪は車体外側の厚みが車体内側の厚みより薄くなるように配置されることを特徴とするストラット式サスペンション。 - 前記軸受部は、前記ストラット式サスペンションのアッパーサポートとアッパースプリングシートとの間に配置され、前記アッパースプリングシートと前記内輪との回動を禁止する第1の回り止めと、前記アッパーサポートと前記外輪との回動を禁止する第2の回り止めをと、を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のストラット式サスペンション。
- 前記軸受部は、軸受けと、前記軸受けの上面側および下面側に設けられた、車幅方向に沿って前記アブソーバ軸方向の厚みが変化するスペーサと、を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のストラット式サスペンション。
- 前記軸受部は、前記ストラット式サスペンションのアッパーサポートとアッパースプリングシートとの間に配置され、前記アッパースプリングシートと前記軸受けの下面側に設けられた前記スペーサとの回動を禁止する第3の回り止めと、前記アッパーサポートと前記軸受けの上面側に設けられた前記スペーサとの回動を禁止する第4の回り止めをと、を有することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のストラット式サスペンション。
